Rounding out our trio of Zyuranger Minipla releases, Bandai’s Candy Toy blog was just updated with our first look at the Super Minipla King Brachion/Titanus!
No release info was provided in this post given that it’s still clearly in early development. But given that his size and price point matches that of Super Minipla’s King J-Der from GaoGaiGar, we can expect this to be a potential Premium Bandai with a similar price tag of 10,000 yen.
Remember those awesome Kyuranger figures Bandai’s been teasing us with all month? Our friends over at HLJ and AmiAmi just put them up for pre order. With that, we now have a release date and pricing.
This new line will be dubbed Kyuranger Yuudou, the first wave of these figures will come out December 2017 and will cost 4,104 yen for a full case and each case will contain 10 figures per box. The first assortment will consist of the previously revealed Shishi Red, Shishi Red Orion, and Houou Soldier.
Get ready Uchu Sentai Kyuranger fans – yet another power up is coming for your favorite lucky Shishi Red Kyuranger! Thanks to Bandai Japan, we have official images of both the DX Saiko Kyutama as well as the form it unlocks for Shishi Red – the Shishi Red Orion form!
By rotating the ring of the DX Saiko Kyutama, Shishi Red can transform in to Shishi Red Orion, a slick looking power up form. Check out the official images of the DX Saiko Kyutama, as well as the upcoming Shishi Red Orion vinyl figure, by clicking the title of the story!
In case you missed it, Bandai announced that a line of Sodo-styled figures for Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger is coming down the pipeline. Bandai’s official Candy Toy blog been updated with our first look at this exciting new line of articulated toys.
Three figures have since been revealed; the previously announced Shishi Red now in color along with Shishi Red Orion and Houhou Soldier.
Unfortunately, no release info’s been given for these figures as they still appear to be in development. We’ll bring you more info as it becomes available, in the mean time make sure join our discussion thread after the jump!
The latest round of magazine scans has been posted online, giving us some information about the further adventures of Uchu Sentai KyuRanger!
A new warrior named Ohlion will confront the team, claiming to be the “Luckiest Man From 300 Years Ago.” With Ohlion’s help, Lucky will gain access to the Saiko KyuTama and a new enhanced form- The Miracle Star, Shishi Red Orion!
Red Orion is the most powerful KyuRanger configuration ever seen, able to utilize all 9 Kyu TheWeapon configurations at once for his ultimate attack- Big Bang All Star Galaxy!
Meanwhile, Balance sets out to restore his friend Naga & remove the dark powers of Hebitsuki Metal. Their fight is interrupted by a mysterious woman named Echidona from Naga’s home system. Could SHE have the skills needed to remove the dark influence on Naga? Only time will tell!

Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger makes the leap to home video with the Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger Blu-Ray Collection Set 1 having just been revealed via an Amazon Japan pre order link.
Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger Blu-Ray Collection Set 1 will include two discs, and Disc 1 contains Space 1-6 while Disc 2 will have Space 7-12. Special features include a Lucky Teaches Kyu Tama Dancing segment, as well as an audio CD title The Nine Shot which features members of the cast though what will be on the CD wasn’t revealed on this page.
The set is due out for release September 13, 2017, and is rather pricey at 21,384 yen.
Toei has uploaded a new full-length preview for the upcoming Uchu Sentai KyuRanger V-CINEMA project- Episode Of Stinger!
In this special release, Stinger recalls his past adventures against Jark Matter & the hunt for his treacherous brother Scorpio- triggered by a mysterious young woman with a deformed arm that grants her unusual powers.
Directed by longtime tokusatsu veteran Koichi Sakamoto, Episode Of Stinger will be released on DVD & Blu-Ray on October 25, 2017!
DARK CHANGE!
In case you missed it , a DX Dark Seiza Blaster from Premium Bandai is coming. Since the initial announcement, new pre-order information, as well as official stock images, have been released.
The DX Dark Seiza Blaster will cost 5,999 yen pre orders for this will end September 25th 2017 and will ship out sometime in January next year. Of course, the package will also include the Dark Kyutama.
During a promotional piece for the newly release minipla Cerberus Voyager set, Bandai’s official candy toy blog has revealed a new series of Uchu Sentai Kyuranger articulated figures! The new line is set to debut in December, and while its details and contents are still being finalised Bandai also revealed a sneak peak at the current prototype for its Shishi Red figure.
This is the first Super Sentai candy toy line to feature articulated rangers since 2013’s Kyoryuger, and while it might not be the gimmick toys or S.H. Figuarts fans were hoping for this is their first chance to grab poseable versions of its characters.

Premium Bandai has revealed a special new item for fans of Uchu Sentai KyuRanger!
This is the Dark Seiza Blaster, an alternate version of the standard KyuRanger henshin device. This Dark version will be used to transform Hebitsuki Silver to his new form, Hebitsukai Metal!
The DX Dark Seiza Blaster will be sold with 2 new KyuTama– the Dark KyuTama and the Black Hole KyuTama.
Orders for the Dark Seiza Blaster will open on August 21, 2017. Sadly, price point has not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!
