The next Super Sentai entry in the fan-favorite Shokugan Modeling Project has been announced!
Taking center stage is GingaiOh– the primary Mecha of 1998’s Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (which Western audiences will recognize as Power Rangers Lost Galaxy!)
All 5 of the StarBeasts are recreated in superb detail, with articulation added in several key joints.
SMP GingaiOh is tentatively scheduled for release in June 2024. The price is a modest 7480 Yen before shipping & handling.
Tonight was Toei’s annual Super Sentai press conference- introducing the world to the 48th Super Sentai team, the Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger!
The initial Boonboomger team consists of:
*BunRed/Taiya Hando portrayed by Haruhi Iuchi– a young man with a burning heart and a passion for cars; he has a hobby of rebuilding and customizing his special vehicle.
*BunBlue/Ishiro Meita played by Yuki Hayama is the teams’ technical expert with a wide array of knowledge who always acts in a professional manner.
*BunPink/Mirai Shifuto portrayed by Suzuki Miu– she is described as a bright and intelligent woman with a tendency to drive off anywhere she finds interesting.
At least two more members will join as the series goes on:
*BunBlack/Jou Akuse played by Saito Ryu– a rookie cop with a serious nature and a history of “comedic” incidents.
*BunOrange/Gemba Bureki portrayed by Satoru Soma described as a gentle but elusive man able to obtain anything he wants from others.
The lives of the Boonboomgers are changed forever thanks to the intervention of Boondorio Boonderas– a strange car shaped alien who crash-landed on Earth and now lives in BunRed’s garage supplying the team with weapons and gear. In combat, Boondorio becomes the main body of Boonboomger Robo. The character will be voiced by veteran VA Rica Matsumoto– who will also perform the ending theme song for the series.
The Boonboomgers will fight against the Space Mafia Hishiriyan! Three Generals from the group were introduced-
*Decotrade (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) is the aggressive troublesome warrior who dreams of advancing in the organization.
*Itasha (voiced by Nana Mizuki is another ambitious soldier.
*Yaiyai Yarker (voiced by Sumire Morohoshi may be the strangest member of the Generals, lacking a humanoid frame & instead appearing as a vehicular body.

Toei has published an official video detailing the main Mecha from the upcoming Super Sentai series Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger!
BoonBoomger is a vehicle-based series and the centerpiece of the vehicle fleet in this line is the BoonBoom Trailer– a large car carrier used by BoonRed.
The BoonBoomgers will need to combine 3 vehicles for a Mecha form- the default configuration sees Trailer combine with BoonBoom Wagon (used by BoonPink) and BoonBoom Offroad (belonging to BoonBlue). Together they create BoonBoomger Robo!
Newcomers BoonBlack and BoonOrange bring their own vehicle sets:
*PatoCar 1 & 2 are a police duo assigned to BoonBlack- which unlock BoonBoomger Robo Police!
*BoonBoom Shovel & BoonBoom Dozer belong to BoonOrange and activate BoonBoomger Robo Builder!
Another set of vehicles is identified in these early previews: BoonBoom Classic & BoonBoom Racing cars can create the BoonBoomger Robo Knight formation.
The DX BoonBoomger vehicles will be racing their way onto store shelves starting March 2 2024!
Bandai Japan has confirmed the next Super Sentai entry in the Shodo SUPER line- and this is a very unique release!
The Jaden Sentai NejiRanger are the evil counterparts to the Denji Sentai Megaranger. Power Rangers fans would recognize this group as the PSYCHO RANGERS.
All SIX of the NejiRangers are part of this release- meaning this includes the special appearance of NejiSilver!
Shodo Super Jaden Sentai NejiRanger is scheduled for release in June 2024. The price is a modest 10800 Yen before shipping and handling.
In celebration of this year’s Golden Week in Japan (April 29th – May 5th), Super Sentai is doing something it’s never done before – a double feature movie featuring Ohsama Sentai KingOhger vs Avataro Sentai DonBrothers, and Ohsama Sentai KingOhger vs Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger! The double feature will be available to see in theaters starting on April 26th 2024, but Toei has also announced the release dates for the Blu-Ray and DVD editions – which is October 9th, 2024.
With the first run production of the Blu-Ray and DVD’s of these two movies, fans will be able to get two exclusive items!

The heroes of Ohsama Sentai King-Ogher will face off against the team of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers and then the heroes of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger will arrive for another adventure!
This double edition VS Special is scheduled for release April 26 2024.
Premium Bandai has released the first official images of the next Memorial Edition release- the OhgerCalibur sword from Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger!
This memorial edition is upscaled from the initial release to better match the in-show appearance, and retains the light and sound effects from the original DX release. New dialogue has been recorded by the six King-Ohger actors.
The Memorial Edition OhgerCalibur is scheduled for release in November 2024 and priced at 22000 Yen before shipping and handling.

The BoonBoomgers will face off against the evil group Hashiryan– which translates to Street Racers.
Two pieces of the BoonBoomgers’ arsenal are on display in the scans:
*The BoonBoom Changer– a wrist mounted henshin device
*The BoonBoom Handle– a wheel shaped weapon with Gun and Rod configurations.

In case you missed it, we first caught wind of the next Super Sentai series via trade mark bot listing not that long ago, and finally now have our first official look at next year’s series via a new promotional image for Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger courtesy of this official promotional poster via tv-asahi‘s official web site which just recently went live, the poster offers us our first looks at the Red, Blue, and Pink rangers of the group as well as a bit of casting info via the official portal;
Atsuhiro Tomioka will be handling the script work for the series, while Shojiro Nakazawa will be in charge of directing, and Jun Watanabe will be responsible for action sequences.
Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is set to premire on Sunday, March 3 2024 with its main themes being cars and creation. Additional casting info is currently not known at the time of this writing, though we’ll be sure to update you once this information becomes available.
Arguably one of the most exciting accessories to a Super Sentai/Power Rangers character in the last twenty years is getting released as part of the Memorial Edition subline for Super Sentai. The D-Sword Vega, weapon of Deka Master from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger – or the Shadow Saber for the Shadow Ranger from Power Rangers SPD – has been officially announced by Bandai along with a price and release date.
The Memorial D-Sword Vega features a blade roughly three feet in length, working LEDs, and sounds and music from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. The price is listed for 19,800 yen with a release date tentatively set or August 2024. Pre-orders begin December 1st in Japan. Due to Hasbro’s copyrights, this item will NOT see a domestic release, so you will have to import if you want to add it to your collection.
