Tamashi Nations has uploaded a new teaser image of the next entry in the Ultra Act line, and it’s none other then Ultraman Nexus!
So far, no details regarding price or release date have been announced.

If so, you can catch the 1st screening of Ultraman Saga in the US at the Hawaii International Film Festival! The Festival runs from October 11-21. The screener is on Saturday October 13 at 11:30AM. Here’s a brief summary of the movie:
Taiga soon finds himself in the apocalyptic version of Tokyo, as Ultraman Zero battles a huge fleet of alien spaceships. As Taiga notices a crashing ship heading straight towards a young boy, he pilots his ship directly into its path in an act of self-sacrifice. Witnessing his brave actions, Ultraman Zero rescues Taiga and joins with him.Taiga soon encounters Ultraman Cosmos and his human host Musashi, along with Team U and the children. It is now up to Taiga and Musashi to protect the survivors. However, Taiga is not so happy to be joined with Ultraman Zero, and has no intention of fighting…

Tamashii’s main page has put up a brief preview gallery of recently-announced Ultra-Act figure “Thunder Gridman,” recognizable to American audiences as “Samurai Synchro” form.
This photo gallery appears to confirm that Thunder will function as armor add-on parts for the recently released Gridman figure instead of as a stand-alone Ultra-Act.

The Cybergundam Blog has posted a new scan from Figure Oh revealing Ultra ACT Thunder Gridman from Gridman! Scheduled for a January 2013 release for 5,500 yen. Click on the thumbnail for a closer look!
For you old school Ultraman fans, does Shout! Factory have a treat for you.
Just announced by Shout! Factory, the 1967 Ultraman complete series titled Ultra Seven will release on DVD on December 11th, 2012. The series will be the Japanese dub with English subtitles and contain 48 episodes (not including the banned 12th episode). Included is a 24 page booklet on the making of Ultra Seven.

Last but by no means least, there were a number of Godzilla and Ultra Man figures, from the SH Monsterarts and Ultra Act lines respectively, on display at Bandai’s Tamashii Nations Vol 4 event.
Included in Amiami’s image gallery of the event are SH Monster Arts Burning Godzilla, Godzilla Junior and King Ghidorah. Meanwhile from Ultra Act we saw Ultraman, Zoffy, Ultraman Ace and Gridman, perhaps better known in the US as Servo from Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad!

An article on Gundam.info has provided gameplay explanation on Namco Bandai’s crossover game: The Lost Heroes, featuring characters from the Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Mobile Suit Gundam franchises.
Set for a release on September 6th 2012, and will retail for 6,280 yen. The game will be available on Nintendo 3Ds and PSP consoles. A trailer for the game can be seen below:
