Thanks to this months issue of Figure-Oh Magazine we got some great updates on upcoming Figuarts releases. Likewise we get some more updates on Kamen Rider Fourze & Wizard Movie Wars Ultimatum! Revealed today are:

-The fates of the Original Kamen Rider Club! Gentaro the teacher, Ryusei the interpol agent, Yuki the astronaut, JK the Journalist, Kengo the researcher, Miu the model, Tomoko the author, and Shun the pro footbal player!
-The only current member of the Space Kamen Rider Club Miyoko, and her enemies the Monster Alliance
-The big bad tag-team of Sannagiman (Jiro Kazeda) and Herclues Zodiarts (Kagehito Banba)
-Potrines’ new civilian identity, Yu Uemura

Astute fans will notice the links between the new Sannagiman, Banba, and the Zebar device. All reinventions of concepts from the original Innazuman series. Could Jiro actually become the new modern Innazuman? Toeis’ recent trend of taking classic heroes and updating them with new actors (ala Gavan, Shaider, and Sharivan) could have set a precedent for this. Chōriki Shōrai!

The newest issue of FigurOh Magazine has given us our first official look at Kamen Rider Wizards’ Figuart forms!

Of particular interest, the story reveals that Flame Style will be mass release in February 2013 for 3500 Yen while Water Style will be a Tamashii web exclusive due for release in March. Preorders for the item will open 2nd November, priced at 3675 yen.

Bandai Namco games launched a new web site, featuring a Kamen Rider video game coming to Android and iOS: Kamen Rider Rider Bout!

The game is a Social RPG, registering for the game will unlock Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style.

For iOS users, -iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S or 5 OOS 5 and up will be required to run this software. Those that use Android will require Android 2.3 and up.

The official promo trailer for Kamen Rider Movie War Ultimatum is now streaming online! This is the first bit added to The Official Ultimatum Site but it won’t be the last!

Furthermore, information on Japan’s ticket provider website EPLUS has revealed Ultimatum will feature a total of EIGHT Kamen Riders!

In the past week we’ve received a lot of new information about Kamen Rider Movie Wars Ultimatum, this seasons Kamen Rider crossover film. Now we have our first real look at the movie!

Movie wars Ultimatum features Kamen Rider Fourze, Kamen Rider Wizard, Kamen Rider Meteor, Kamen Rider Nadeshiko, Bisoujou Kamen Poitrine, Sanagiman of Inazuman, and more than likely Wizards’ secondary rider! Will this film be as great and successful as last years Megamax film? Only time will tell, and for American fans it’s going to be one painfully long wait.

As a teaser for the upcoming Tamashii Nation 2012 event in October, Bandai has released an image on Tamashii.jp of an S.H. Figuarts we’ve been dying to see already, Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style!

Unfortunately, it’s only the lone image and with no other details, but you can expect to hear more about him as we approach Tamashii Nation this October 26-28!

Fresh off the unveiling of Kamen Rider Fourze and Wizard Movie Wars Ultimatum yesterday we now have confirmation of it’s writing staff! Returning to write the Fourze portion of the film, set 5 years after the series end with Gentarou as a teacher at Amanogawa, is the series head writer himself Kazuki Nakashima! Of course this would be unsurprising wouldn’t it?

However the big reveal here is that Wizards’ head writer Tsuyoshi Kida will NOT be writing the Wizard portion of the film. Kida is best known for his beautiful work writing the first 29 episodes of Kamen Rider Hibiki before the series had an abrupt shift and for better or worse Kida was replaced with Toshiki Inoue. Many fans had hoped that Kidas’ attachment to Wizard would bring that same flare and originality to the series. So far it has.

However the Wizard portion of Movie Wars Ultimatum will in fact be written by Yoshio Urasawa of such sentais as Gekisou Sentai Carranger and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger! How does this revelation make you feel about the film? Is this a smart decision on Toei’s part? What can we expect from Urasawa who has never written for Kamen Rider before? The October issue of Televi-Kun magazine has provided fans of Kamen Rider Wizard with a first look at the titular Rider’s first power up form – Flame Dragon Style! Using the Flame Dragon Ring, Wizard transforms bringing out the power of his inner Phantom – the WizarDragon.

As well as a look at this new form, the magazine has also revealed a look at some new rings in Wizard’s arsenal. While in Flame Dragon Style, using the Special Ring makes he head of the WizarDragon will appear on Wizard’s chest which he can then shoot powerful flames from. Meanwhile, the Drill Ring allows Land Style to spin at high speeds and attack the Phantoms. The Extend Ring allows Wizard’s left hand to stretch. The Please Ring, as seen in episode 4, transfers magical power from one person to another while the Smell Ring is used to release a horrible odour.

Finally, the magazine also provided more images of the mysterious White Wizard and a teaser of Wizard’s next power up!
