Thanks to sieunhanvietnam, a poster at RangerBoard, we have some new items listed under the Legacy Power Rangers line. The online store The Falcon’s Hangar has put up some already-known and yet-to-be-revealed new Legacy Power Rangers items listed online. Check out the list below.

  • 12″ Legacy MMPR Red Ranger with spandex
  • 6.5″ Legacy Dino Thunder Red, Blue Rangers (part of the Zeo wave 1 of Legacy figures due in mid-late 2017)
  • Legacy Power Sword
  • Legacy Black and Gold Titanus
  • Legacy MMPR gold coin set
  • Legacy MMPR silver coin set (called “Movie Edition”)

There are no official product images for these items so there’s not much to show. It has been rumored heavily that the Power Rangers Dino Thunder figures would be part of the Power Rangers Zeo wave of Legacy 6.5″ figures and this is as close to a confirmation as we will get before Toy Fair 2017. A quick heads up for those of you who seek out and collect the harder to find items. A set of the Ranger Keys from the Morphin Madness contest of 2014 is available on ebay. This set of five Ranger Keys (Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Turbo Phantom Ranger, Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger, Time Force Pink Ranger) was voted in an online poll/contest by the fans and the winning set was given to 5 lucky winners – meaning this is 1 of 5 in existence.

Heads up to those of you collecting FunkoPOP! figures. Our buddy @ZeroFlame16 on Twitter pointed us to the Reddit thread for FunkoPOP! collectors – and showing up today is a Hot Topic exclusive. The Metallic Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, with Ape Power Coin Emblem, is part of the December reveal.

After being shown at numerous conventions the past few months, Bandai is finally gearing up to release the trio of Tamashii Buddies from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Bandai’s just put up the official image galleries for Tamashii Buddies Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger, and last but not least: Lord Zedd.

The new thing these images reveal are the very Mighty Morphin centric display bases each one themed after the represented character and like previous releases, these stands can either be stacked on top of each other or connected three in a row.

The three Tamashii Buddies will see release sometime in March 2017 with no pricing given as of this writing though if any past releases can be of any indication: we can expect somewhere within the vicinity of 1500 yen.

This January 11th two groups of superheroes beloved worldwide will join forces for the first time. DC Entertainment and BOOM! Studios, in partnership with Saban Brands, have announced that a six issue mini-series beginning in January will partner the heroes of the world of DC Entertainment with our favorite spandex-clad Power Rangers!

When the Command Center is damaged, Zack is accidentally teleported to an alternative universe and is in the crosshairs of the caped crusader Batman! Can Jason, Billy, Trini, Kimberly, and Tommy save Zack from the clutches of the masked vigilante of Gotham City? Justice League / Power Rangers begins January 11th!

The series will also feature variant covers drawn by some of comics’ most popular artists. They are as follows:

  • Batman/Pink Ranger by Dan Hipp
  • Cyborg/Blue Ranger by Dustin Nguyen
  • The Flash/Black Ranger by Yasmine Putri

In a rather bizarre turn of events, the company behind the Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends toy-line has announced a cross brand promotion with Saban’s Power Rangers.

Thomas trains themed after characters from the first and second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will see release though currently, there’s no word on release date and price point but stay tuned and we’ll bring more up to date information as it’s made available.

Awhile back, we heard rumours that a brand new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers video game was in the works. A press release has gone out, giving us not only a handful of screenshots but also a trailer coming courtesy of Powerrangersnow and Youtube.

The game appears to be a standard action brawler with local multiplayer that allows for up to four players siamotainously on the screen with a secondary fighting game style mode for Megazord combat, the press release promises a deep, intuitive fighting system . Levels will be based on episodes from the TV show with Tommy Oliver being a hidden unlockable character as both the Green and White Rangers in addition to Adam, Rocky, Kat, and Aisha.

No word on price point or release date, though a demo will be avalaible for those attending New York Comic Con 2016 this weekend, but for those that couldn’t go the trailer for the game can be seen below:

On display at New York Comic Con 2016 are the upcoming releases of the Power Rangers Tamashii Buddies! Shown off for the first time is the Megazord, or DaiZyuJin, version of the Tamashii Buddy! It looks great! On display were:

  • Dino Megazord / DaiZyuJin

under New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

On display at this year’s New York Comic Con, about a month ahead of its release, is the highly anticipated Legacy Red Ranger helmet! We’ve learned that this thing is fully adjustable and able to fit most adult-sized heads. It retails for between $99 and $109 depending on where you order it from.
