Namco Bandai announces Power Rangers Megaforce Game for 3DS!

Posted on April 11, 2013 at 10:00 pm by Shin Densetsu under Power Rangers

Namco Bandai has announced an all new Power Rangers Megaforce game coming for the Nintendo 3DS! The official Morpher Cards can be used to help you power up in the game, and by using the 3DS’ camera, you can take a picture of yourself and watch yourself morph into a Ranger in the game!

More info:

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today announced that Power Rangers MEGAFORCE® for the Nintendo 3DS™ will be heading to retailers in North and Latin America in Fall 2013. The side-scrolling, action-packed video game will be based on the popular Nickelodeon television series of the same title allowing fans to play as the Power Rangers Megaforce and defend Earth against the evil Warstar aliens.

In this new chapter of the popular Power Rangers video game series, fans play as their favorite Megaforce Ranger while the supporting Power Rangers provide their boundless advice and encouragement to players as they battle their way through challenge after challenge. The Rangers’ vocal and physical support will prove valuable as challenging situations and conditions arise in an attempt to foil players’ advancement. Power Rangers MEGAFORCE will plunge players into intense battles against repulsive enemies, but by forming gigantic Megazords, the Rangers will be able to implement powerful combos to help get them on the path to victory.

To enhance the player’s experience, Power Rangers MEGAFORCE will allow fans to scan official Power Rangers MEGAFORCE Morpher Cards to power up within the game. Players will also be able to utilize the Nintendo 3DS camera to take a picture and watch themselves actively morph into their favorite Megaforce Ranger to fend off enemy encounters with their own hands.

Power Rangers MEGAFORCE for the Nintendo 3DS will be available for purchase at video game retailers in North and Latin America this fall. Ultra Monsters Return to the Arcades in Daikaiju Battle Rush!

Posted on March 27, 2013 at 1:20 am by baltanii under Ultraman

It’s been several years since the Ultraman franchise’s card-based video game Daikaiju Battle has had a presence in Japan, while its successors Ganbaride and Dice-Oh have kept the Japanese kids and kids-at-heart preoccupied, but thanks to our friends at Rising Sun Tokusatsu, we know that’s about to change!

Daikaiju Battle Rush: Ultra Frontier is the latest card series for the game franchise, started in 2007, and should be launching in Japan shortly! Details on Daikaiju Battle Rush’s game system are unavailable, but the new eye-catching format with the giant monitor play area looks neat! I know I’d love to pull out my favorite Ultra monsters in card form to play it in person! How about you? Join TokuNation.com‘s discussion and let us know!
