S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker Gallery

Posted on March 2, 2015 at 9:35 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Now, count up your sins!

TokuNation is taking a look at a classic rider release with this one. Our very own photo & content staff contributor Ryan has done a full gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W Cycylone/Joker!

This Figuart is one of the oldest releases in the line. And although it’s a dated figure, for many it’s a representation of the rider that got them into the franchise in the first place. W is seen here in his basic Cyclone/Joker configuation and while hey may not come with much accessory wise, the figure does a great job of capturing the characters’ personality. With the possibility of a renewal of Kamen Rider W on the horizon, why not take a look back at this classic release to see how far a new figure could go.

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post, but you can check out nearly 40 images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker after the jump!

Posted on February 27, 2015 at 2:55 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

With the recent premiere of a new sentai, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, the reviews of the initial waves of merchandise have begun rolling in. We posted our official gallery of this toy earlier in the week, but today our friend and frequent collaborator Baltmatrix has shared his video review of DX Shurikenjin with us!

Check out the above video to see Baltmatrix’s complete review of DX Shurikenjin and be sure to subscribe to his youtube page for future reviews. Balt and I will be teaming up in the coming months to gallery & review as many of the DX Ninninger toys as we can. Also be sure to check the link at the bottom of this post by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums”. This will take you to our extensive photo gallery of DX Shurikenjin featuring over 100 images of this set!

Ninninger DX Shurikenjin Gallery & Review

Posted on February 26, 2015 at 1:44 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Shuriken Gattai!

TokuNation is proud to prevent it’s first gallery & review of the year from the latest sentai, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger! The 1st item up is none other than DX Shurikenjin!

A quirky combiner DX Shurikenjin is made up of the Otomo Shinobi or Companion Ninja machines; Shinobimaru, Dragomaru, Dumpmaru, Wanmaru, & Byunmaru. With the aid of this toylines Nin Shuriken gimmick these 5 machines can combine to form Shurikenjin! When Shinobimaru sits in the pilot seat this standard form of the mighty robot exists. But swap Shinobimaru out to become a new arm adnd insert Dragonmaru and Shurikenjin Drago is born! This is an all around fantastic set that’s sure to perk up the interest of sentai buyers after last years seemingly lack luster selection.

We’ve assembled over 100 images of this incredible new toy including some images of the 1st run bonus Nin Shurikens included with it! We’ve attached a selection of these images to this post but click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to our fully gallery/review thread. Because of the sheer number of images they’ll be split across the first 3 posts of that thread.

Enjoy!

Posted on February 23, 2015 at 12:22 pm by Den-O under Ultraman

Our apologies for letting this one slip by during the last drop of magazine scans. But it looks like Bandai have been kind enough to make an official image drop to start the week off! First up is the just revealed Ultra-Act Ultraman Zoffy Mebius Special!

Many Ultra-Act collector’s will recall just how insanely rare Zoffy became in the last few years. Well Bandai is looking to rectify that situation with this Mebius Special Set version! Zoffy of course appeared on numerous ocassions through out the Ultraman Mebius series. This reissue appears to include jsut about anything you’d hope for as well.

A Tamashii Web Exclusive release for July, Ultra-Act Zoffy Mebius Special will retail for 5940 yen.

Official Images & Release Details For Minipla Shurikenjin

Posted on February 21, 2015 at 12:22 pm by Den-O under Uncategorized

The next entry in Bandai’s long long line of Minipla/Candy Toy sentai kits is coming up! From Shuriken Sentai Ninninger it’s the first robo of the series, Minipla Shurikenjin!

Shurikenjin will be broken down into 5 box set at 350 yen per box. This assortment will be released on March 24th. As per usual this little mini version of the DX toy looks spot on and replicates the Shuriken switching gimmick as well allowing you to create standard Shurikenjin and Shurikenjin Drago!

And don’t forget that Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Episode 1 “We Ar Ninja!” premieres later today at 6PM EST. Be sure to join in on the live stream of the episode if you can and dive right into our posted discussion thread as well.
