Tsuburaya Productions is teaming up with Marvel Comics for an Ultra-sized special event!

Ultraman X Avengers is a four-issue event featuring a meeting of mighty heroes from across the universes, with writing by Kyle Higgins and art by Francesco Manna.

An early teaser summary has been published with this announcement:

Spider-Man has disappeared from New York, an intergalactic invader has arrived on Ultraman’s doorstep, and the Kaiju of Earth are acting even more mysteriously than usual. This can only mean one thing: It’s time for Ultraman to meet the Avengers! But what cosmic threat is great enough to require a team-up of Marvel’s mightiest champions and Japan’s greatest hero? Find out as Shin meets Sam, Spacium Ray meets Repulsor Ray, and “THWIP!” meets “SHUWATCH!” – in the epic crossover event.

The first issue of Ultraman X Avengers will be released on August 14 2024!

Tsuburaya Productions has released a trailer for the next entry in the Ultraman! franchise!

This is our introduction to Ultraman Arc–

When a Kaiju horn falls to Earth, monsters begin appearing across the world. Following this K-DAY event a group called the Scientific Kaiju Investigation & Prevention Center does their best to prevent more disasters. An imaginative man named Yuma (who survived a kaiju encounter at a young age) joins SKIP out of a desire to protect the people. Armed with the Arc Cube & Arc Ariser Yuma becomes the Giant of Light– Ultraman Arc!

Ultra veteran Takanori Tsujimoto will direct this series, with Jun Tsugita serving as head writer.

Fans of Ultraman Blazar should find their way up north to Toronto, Canada for Fan Expo Canada this August 24th thru 27th.  Tsuburaya Productions announced today that Ultraman Blazar will be featured at Fan Expo Canada with panels and special guests (to be announced).  The panels are put on by the official Ultraman International Fan Hub, Ultraman Connection, and will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 25th and 1pm on Saturday, August 26th.  To get in to the panel you only need your Fan Expo Canada ticket but attendance is limited.

Bandai is also bringing Ultraman Blazar to Fan Expo Canada!  This is your chance to have your picture taken with the suit from the show.  Fans can have their pictures taken at the Bandai booth and other Ultraman licensee booths throughout the show.  More details will be revealed throughout the week.

Fans of Ultraman rejoice – the first episode of the new series, Ultraman Blazar, is now available to watch on YouTube!  Continuing Tsuburaya‘s push to globalize Ultraman, the episode has both Japanese and English audio options as well as a wide array of languages available via subtitle.

Today, Bandai Namco and Tsuburaya Productions announced that Bandai Namco is the master toy license holder for the Ultraman intellectual property in North America.  The resulting license means Bandai Namco will be releasing a toy line in North America that will include action figures, playsets, role-play items, and plush items.  The deal includes the upcoming Ultraman Netflix movie set to debut in 2024.  Thanks to ToyBook.com for the heads up.

Tsuburaya Productions has revealed the next entry in the beloved Ultraman franchise- Ultraman BlazAr!

This new series takes place in a world where Kaiju attacks on Earth are commonplace. A Global Guardian Force- GGF has been assembled to protect the people, with the elite group Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment (SKaRD) on call to fight the monsters. Under SKaRD’s control is the Special Armored Tactical Kaiju: Earth Garon an artificial giant creature with heavy weapons and attack strength.

The Captain of this new SKaRD is Gento Hiruma– an outgoing young man eager to protect his wife and young son. With the power of the Blazar Stone & Blazer Brace, Gento becomes the Giant of Light- Ultraman Blazar! Gento Hiruma is played by veteran tokusatsu actor Tomoya Warabino (best recognized as Heart from Kamen Rider Drive).

An English subtitled release AND an English dub release have been confirmed for this new Ultra chapter!

Ultraman Blazar begins July 8 2023.

Tsuburaya Productions and Studio TRIGGER have confirmed the next entry in the Gridman Universe!

A new film titled Gridman Universe will unite characters from SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon.
