The Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger are joining the SH Figuarts lineup!
This is our first look at SH Figuarts BunRed leader of the 48th Super Sentai series, recreated in superb detail. This release is equipped with the BoonBoom Handle in both Gun Mode and Rod Mode.
SHI Figuarts Boonboomger BunRed is tentatively scheduled for release in October 2024 with a price of 8250 Yen.
Another Metal Hero series is receiving a North American home release thanks to Discotek Media!
This time, 1989’s Mobile Cob Jiban has been licensed- with a release tentatively scheduled for July 30 2024. Suggested price is a modest $49.95 before shipping and handling.
The future for the Power Rangers brand has been revealed today as Hasbro announced that rival toy company Playmates Toys (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Voltron) has acquired the toy license for the brand from Hasbro.
As part of the deal, Playmates Toys acquires the global (excluding Asia) rights to make Power Rangers action figures, vehicles, roleplay toys, and plush items.
Playmates Toys has also revealed that their first offering for Power Rangers toys will be in 2025 with a kids-targeted line of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toys.

This is our introduction to Ultraman Arc–
When a Kaiju horn falls to Earth, monsters begin appearing across the world. Following this K-DAY event a group called the Scientific Kaiju Investigation & Prevention Center does their best to prevent more disasters. An imaginative man named Yuma (who survived a kaiju encounter at a young age) joins SKIP out of a desire to protect the people. Armed with the Arc Cube & Arc Ariser Yuma becomes the Giant of Light– Ultraman Arc!
Ultra veteran Takanori Tsujimoto will direct this series, with Jun Tsugita serving as head writer.
Ultraman Arc begins July 6 2024!
The next Super Sentai in the fan favorite Shodo SUPER line has been announced!
1977’s J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai will be receiving the Shodo SUPER treatment- the EARLIEST Sentai team updated thus far.
The J.A.K.Q. lineup consists of Spade Ace, Diamond Jack, Heart Queen, Clover King & Big One. Each SUPER version comes with their signature weapon and the unique team cannon Big Bomber will also be included.
Shodo SUPER J.A.K.Q. is priced at 8500 Yen before shipping and handling, with release tentatively scheduled for October 2024!
The next entry in the Shinkocchou Seihou branch of the SH Figuarts toyline has been announced!
1974’s Kamen Rider X will be receiving a new release, with his signature Ridol Whip & Stick.
Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider X is tentatively scheduled for release in October 2024 with a price of 9900 Yen before shipping and handling.
Hot on the reveal and announcement of the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Baron news from yeseterday, Tamashii Nations has already announced another entry into the Kamen Rider Gaim era of Shinkocchou Seihou – the Ichigo and Pine Arms Change Set!
With Shinkocchou Seihou, you can swap out the armor on your Kamen Rider Gaim figure! So rather than release a whole new figure with the armor, this looks to just be an armor set. The designer of this has stated they will also work on the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Baron figure as well.
On an unrelated side note – we are fast approaching the 100th release for the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series.
