Welcome to another round of Let’s Watch Wednesdays at Tokunation.com! This week we discuss the following:

Both Episode FINAL and 13 Riders feature dramatically different takes on the Kamen Rider Ryuki storyline, with Episode FINAL taking place towards the end of the series(taking the place of the last few episodes), and 13 Riders featuring an ending that viewers had to vote for at the time of airing(amongst other differences).

In addition, a few new Riders are introduced such as Kamen Rider Femme, the only female rider in the Ryuki-verse, and Kamen Rider Verde! Does Asano Megumi have competition in the beauty department with Kirishima Miho? What connection does Asakura have with Miho?

Throughout the Kamen Rider Ryuki TV series we never saw Shinji really give into his dark side, yet we find the epitome of that in the form of Kamen Rider Ryuga from Episode FINAL! Hey Tokusatsu fans! Last week, we invited you to join our new weekly feature titled “Let’s Watch Wednesdays” where each Wednesday we begin the task of watching more episodes of past Tokusatsu series!

Last week we watched Dairanger 1-5, Kamen Rider Ryuki 1-5, and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue 1-5! Discussions have already started regarding these past series! What did you think? We here at Tokunation are pleased to start a new weekly discussion thread entitled “Let’s Watch Wednesdays”, where every Wednesday we’ll discuss up to and including 5 episodes of various Tokusatsu series! Our staff debated and voted, and we hope you will choose one of (if not all of) the three options below for Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider!

Let’s Watch Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!
Mariner Bay is the home of this incarnation of Power Rangers who fight against demons led by the evil Diabalico! It’s also the first adaption of Power Rangers to include a Western-only Tokusatsu hero which was not part of the original Japanese Sentai series!

Let’s Watch Gosei Sentai Dairanger!
The Gorma tribe has returned and is taking over the world! Master Kaku has assembled a team of five youths with a large amount of Qi to stop them! You will recognize a lot of the monster and all the zord footage from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2 as the zords, the monsters, and the White Ranger were adapted from DaiRanger to Power Rangers!

Let’s Watch Kamen Rider Ryuki
The Rider War is here! There can only be one Kamen Rider! Each has the Advent Deck which has bonded them to a monster from the mirror world. Sound familiar? You may have seen this on the KidsWB network as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Now see the story as it was originally told as we watch one of the most popular Kamen Rider series!
