The stylish covers that began it all a year ago when BOOM! Studios first acquired the license for Power Rangers comics will come to an end at this year’s San Diego Comic Con 2016. Finishing off the very impressive cover art of the Rangers holding their helmets will be an Armored Black Ranger. This is, ironically, the second time the Armored Black Ranger has been a SDCC exclusive (circa 2014).
A second cover is exclusive to the show as well – which combines with three other covers to become one large splash page of artwork. If you’re going to be at SDCC 2016 this year, swing by BOOM! Studios booth 2229 and grab yourself one of the exclusive covers!
The Power of Pink is alive and well in this brand new mini-series from BOOM! Studios featuring the original Pink Ranger (hence the title!). The book, released this week, starts a brand new mini-series that follows the adventures of Kimberly Hart, better known to fans as the original Pink Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Also up for viewing from BOOM! Studios are the covers for the upcoming and highly anticipated Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Annual, the (not-final) artwork for the trade paperback, and the main cover for Issue 04 of the Pink Ranger series.
As always, more covers are likely to work their way out for these issues and we will do our best to keep you up to date on what covers are available. These incentive covers are also becoming harder and harder to come by – so if you see ’em, snatch ’em up!

Check out these covers for the upcoming comics from BOOM! Studios – Pink Ranger #1 (5 covers), and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #3 (5 covers). As always, there’s a chance (a pretty good one actually) that the numbers of covers will increase. As soon as we have details of how to get these incentives (aka the rarity and how many retailers have to order to receive them) we’ll pass word along.

A brand new cover variant for the upcoming Mighty Morpin Power Rangers #1 from BOOM! Studios has shown up. Fans will recognize this as a homage to two different items – first being the original Issue #1 from Marvel Comics way back in the day, and the other for being a homage to the classic “command center pose” that circulates about 300 times a year anytime anyone mentions Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
This comic is available for retailers to order only if they match or exceed 200% of their original orders for Issue #0 which, as you may or may not have heard, was considered a “sell-out” in industry terms (meaning there were no more comics available to order and thus a second run was planned).

Get ready fans of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – the day you’ve been waiting for is just about here! On Wednesday, January 13th the first release of the brand new comic from BOOM! Studios, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Issue #0, releases at a comic store near you! Giving you just a taste of what’s in store, the actual first issue will release in March 2016 as the on-going series officially kicks off!
As we reported last week, we were lucky enough to be given an early preview of Issue #0 – be sure to check out our full, SPOILER-filled review – and now we’ve been cleared to share out images from this first issue! In light of not ruining anything for those of you who do NOT want to be spoiled, we should note that our images here are a few panels … nothing full page. It’s almost here! The very first issue of the new on-going Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book, published by BOOM! Studios, releases on January 13th, 2016. We were fortunate enough to be given a special preview of this monumental first issue and have written up a review!
It’s the first day back at school for our heroes and more importantly it’s the first day back at school for the recently freed-from-mind-control Tommy, aka the Green Ranger. But as our green hero quickly learns, one can never just walk away from the Rita Repulsa without some serious side effects. Can Tommy overcome the visions he’s having and focus on saving the world? Or will his hangover from being the evil Green Ranger eventually doom him, his friends, and innocent civilians? The answer may surprise you…
