Ninninger DX Lion Ha Oh New Images

Posted on July 4, 2015 at 9:09 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

The behemoth and seemingly final (?) mecha of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger is due for a July 18th official release at Japanese retail. Priced at a whopping 9980 yen this big figure has been quite divisive with collectors. DX Lion Ha Oh’s large size and semi-simplistic design has put many off, but perhaps these new display images could change your mind.

Thanks to twitter user @soilu we have some great looks at DX Lion Ha Oh on display at a local Japanese retail shop! These new shots give us a look the impressive scale of Ha Oh confirming that the size is indeed worth the price, for some at least. Will you be picking this figure up? Sound off in our pre-existing Ninninger toy thread and let us know what you think of DX Lion Ha Oh in the comments below!

DX Bison King & King Shurikenjin Gallery & Video Review!

Posted on May 8, 2015 at 12:51 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Yee-Haw!

The shining star, Starninger, has arrived on Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. And with him comes the release of a brand new mecha for this series, the DX Bison King!

Composed of the Otomonin Rodeomaru & Bison Buggy, DX Bison King is a pretty versatile toy. When the two components are combined for the buggy you get a pretty uniquely different vehicle we’ve never really seen before in sentai. Combining them properly yields Bison King himself! A bulky cowboy themed robot wielding a Gunblade! Combine Rodeomaru with Shurikenjin to form Shurikejin Texas, or throw all of them into the mix and you can form the imposing King Shurikenjin! The year of the ninja continues to get more strange and more awesome with each new toy release!

And while we’ve assembled a pretty massive gallery of this figure our friend and frequent contributor Baltmatrix has also filmed a video review of DX Bison King! Be sure to check out Balt’s video below and subscribe to his youtube page for further updates!

And be sure to check out our full gallery of this figure, totaling 100 images! Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to our full gallery & review thread.

3rd Quarter Shuriken Sentai Ninninger toy RUMORS

Posted on April 8, 2015 at 1:40 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

As is usual these rumors come from the reliable dukemon22, currently posted up over at Rangerboard.com. We can’t yet confirm the validity of this info at this time so take this information as rumor, but this sound very very promising.

DX LionHaOh (9800 yen): A large castle type mecha with a Lion motif piloted by Akaninger Chouzetsu (see below for that one). When Shurikenjin & Bison King combine with it Shurikenjin indeed sits in the throne like the Otomonin! Combined form is named HaOh Shurikenjin.

Shoubu Chozetsu Changer (Battle Transcendance Changer): Allows Akaninger to become Akaninger Chouzetsu. A fully armored soldier form with castle like features as well. Aoninger & Kininger can also access this form. The changer is wrist worn & apparently includes a Lion type Shuriken and another with the kanji for “Shoubu” on it. The Changer can combine with the Ichibantou to form the Ichiban Shoubu Gatana.

Otomin Series EX DinoMaru (3800 yen): And orange Dinosaur type remold of Paonmaru with a drill for a tail. Exclusive to the Ninninger summer movie, it combines to form Dino Shurikenjin.

Any rampant rumors or speculation about Ninninger you’d like to share? Feel free to pop into our official rumors & speculation thread!

Ninninger DX UFOmaru & Shurikenjin UFO Gallery

Posted on April 7, 2015 at 9:09 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

UFO washoi!

TokuNation returns to the team of ninjas that refuses to hide with Shuriken Sentai Ninninger! And today we’re taking a look at the second release in the Otomonin series of additional mecha, DX UFOmaru!

Apparently the original Otomonin, UFOmaru is the being which all of the Ninninger’s mecha technology is based on. Rather interestingly UFOmaru is also the first and so far only literal UFO based mecha in Super Sentai. We’ve had spaceships in the past but this one takes the cake. An interesting design, UFOmaru can alternate between the traditional “saucer” mode and his own unique robot form that stands tall with Paonmaru & Shinobimaru. When used in place of Shinobimaru, Shurikenjin UFO is formed! Armed with the 3-barrelled UFOmaru Launcher, Shurikenjin UFO succeeds in being another new and unique combination that’s a welcome breath of fresh air.

Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post in order to see a comprehensive gallery of over 50 images as well as a full review for DX UFOmaru. We’ll see you again in a few weeks for our next ninja themed gallery installment with DX Bison Buggy & Rodeomaru!

Ninninger DX Paonmaru & Shurikenjin Paon Gallery

Posted on April 5, 2015 at 5:56 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Paon! Paon! Paon! Wasshoi!

Shuriken Sentai Ninninger is moving right along in both show & toyline. The first release in the DX Otomonin series for Ninninger recently hit Japanese retail and we’ve finally gotten our copy in hand for review. Today we’re taking a look at DX Paonmaru!

Paonmaru made it’s first appearance a matter of weeks ago on Ninninger and as the name implies Paonmaru is an elephant. It came to the aid of the Ninningers as the first of the restored Sealing Shurikens. Not only does it have a role as a beast, but it can also be reconfigured into a small robot formation that’s very similar to Shinobimaru at a basic level. Though Paonmaru has a bit more bulk to it. The real star of the show however is this machine’s combination with Shurikenjin, Shurikenjin Paon! Wielding the Paon Axes Shurikenjin Paon benefits from the inherently awesome articulation of the primary figure.

Check out over 50 images as well as a full review of this wonderful new addition to the toyline of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger after the jump! We’ll be back later this week with our look at DX UFOmaru!

Ninninger DX Shurikenjin Gallery & Review

Posted on February 26, 2015 at 1:44 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Shuriken Gattai!

TokuNation is proud to prevent it’s first gallery & review of the year from the latest sentai, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger! The 1st item up is none other than DX Shurikenjin!

A quirky combiner DX Shurikenjin is made up of the Otomo Shinobi or Companion Ninja machines; Shinobimaru, Dragomaru, Dumpmaru, Wanmaru, & Byunmaru. With the aid of this toylines Nin Shuriken gimmick these 5 machines can combine to form Shurikenjin! When Shinobimaru sits in the pilot seat this standard form of the mighty robot exists. But swap Shinobimaru out to become a new arm adnd insert Dragonmaru and Shurikenjin Drago is born! This is an all around fantastic set that’s sure to perk up the interest of sentai buyers after last years seemingly lack luster selection.

We’ve assembled over 100 images of this incredible new toy including some images of the 1st run bonus Nin Shurikens included with it! We’ve attached a selection of these images to this post but click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to our fully gallery/review thread. Because of the sheer number of images they’ll be split across the first 3 posts of that thread.

Enjoy!
