Posted on November 7, 2013 at 10:29 am by Chris under Power Rangers

What happens when Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series goes toe to toe with the White Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers?

One of the coolest fight scenes ever done. No seriously, it’s pretty awesome. Check out the video below and take note – the White Ranger is indeed voiced by Jason David Frank, who played the White Ranger during Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

What did you think? Was that not totally awesome!? Video done by Bat in the Sun, who just do really awesome things all the time.

Video Review of Kamen Rider Gaim Arms Change 02 Baron and Banana Arms by baltmatrix

Posted on November 7, 2013 at 9:36 am by Chris under Kamen Rider

The staff at TokuNation.com is in love with the Arms Change figure line for Kamen Rider Gaim, which features your favorite Armored Riders from Kamen Rider Gaim complete with their fruit, arms changing gimmick. The first release was AC01 Kamen Rider Gaim, which received critical acclaim for being what many call the budget line – a figure that’s not quite the S.H. Figuarts quality but pretty damn good for half the price.

The second release is my personal favorite, and the favorite of many here on the site, and that’s AC02 Kamen Rider Baron. Baron comes with Banana Arms, which can fold and wrap around him as armor, just like the show. The feature is interchangeable with the Orange Arms from Kamen Rider Gaim, meaning you can switch the armors on each rider. Everything revealed on the show thus far is set for release, making this line collectible and a fan-favorite.

TokuNation.com member baltmatrix received his Arms Change Baron and took the time to do a video review of the figure! We’ve partnered with baltmatrix to feature his video reviews on anything and everything tokusatsu related, and we couldn’t be more excited for his video review of this excellent figure! Check it out below!

Don’t forget to check out his YouTube page and subscribe so you stay up to date on all his latest reviews!

If you haven’t picked up this figure yet, please do so now before prices begin to skyrocket on the figure. The staff at TokuNation.com can’t recommend these figures enough – they are an incredible alternative to the higher priced figures coming in 2014. And to top it off, they’re incredibly fun.

Banana Arms! Come On!

We’re back with more DX Gaoranger goodies in our tribute to Power Rangers Wild Force! Straight from Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger today we bring you our gallery of DX Gao Gorilla!

Guardian of the sacred forest, Gao Gorilla rose up in the stead of the injured Gao Lion to form a new King of Spirits. When Gao Gorilla, Bear, Polar, Eagle, and Bison come together the mighty Gao Muscle is formed! Utilizing the fire & ice powers of the bear brothers Gao Muscle can perform the Muscle Lariat, or it can use the Muscle Cracker shoulder cannons or Muscle Anchor chain weapon stored in it’s chest.

Alternatively when Gao Gorilla unites with Tiger, Shark, Eagle, and Bison Gao Cracker is formed. This alternate combo was never seen in show though a suit was made to represent it and it is officially recognized by Toei. Alternatively known as Gao Muscle Shark & Tiger. Soon the new heart of Gao King will arrive, in 2 days check back for our DX Soul Bird Gaollery!

Kamen Rider Gaim AC01 – Orange Change Set Review by baltmatrix

Posted on November 5, 2013 at 11:10 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider

You may have caught us gushing on @TokuNation twitter account how much we’re in love with the Arms Change figure series for Kamen Rider Gaim. I personally just received my Gaim and Baron pieces, and I absolutely love them! So much in fact that if you’re on the fence on whether or not to pick up this figure, we’re suggesting YES YES YES!

TokuNation.com member and friend to the site, baltmatrix, posted up his video review of the figure a few days ago. Check out the video below!

TokuNation.com and baltmatrix have teamed up to bring you his videos on anything and everything toku related! He also reviews Transformers figures and more, so if you haven’t already, check out and subscribe to his YouTube channel!

Having personally just received this figure, as well as AC02 Kamen Rider Baron today, I highly recommend these figures. They do not have the articulation of an S.H. Figuart figure, but the playability feature by having the fruit land on the figure and transform in to armor, just like the show, is just too awesome not to get. Plus the little details – like orange slices that appear in Gaim’s helmet – are a nice touch.

But you’d better hurry – the popularity of these figures is increasing and they are becoming harder to find, as even Mandarake only had AC Kamen Rider Baron available as Gaim was totally sold out. After-market prices are already hitting close to triple the original price. Here’s a few links to some relatively decent-priced auctions on eBay:

– AC02 Baron – $19 with $13 shipping
– AC01 Gaim – $38 with $10 shipping

Okay, so I only found two that weren’t asking for $50 or more after shipping. Hurry and act now because you WILL want these figures later. And if you’re in the market to get AC03 Kamen Rider Ryugen, or the two Lock Seeds that transform in to the motorcycles, most foreign sites like Hobby Link Japan had pre-orders go live earlier this morning.

Henshin!

Power Rangers Megaforce for Nintendo 3DS Released – RangerCrew.com Review

Posted on November 5, 2013 at 10:53 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

If you’re a fan of Power Rangers Megaforce then you obviously should have some vested interest in the video game for the Nintendo 3DS that was released today (Tuesday, November 5th 2013). Our good friend Fury Diamond received an early copy and was kind enough to post, in all honesty, probably the most comprehensive review that any video game has ever received.

Every single detail of the game is reviewed by Fury Diamond – from the packaging, the menu screen, the exclusive card that comes with the game, character selection, and plenty of videos involving game play and more. On top of that, he lists the trophies you can acquire, secrets to unlock, and more!

Click here to check out this amazing review of the game!

Are you planning to pick up the game? Have you already picked it up? What are your thoughts? Share them in our discussion thread!
