TokuNation is back to another look at the initial offerings from Bandai’s Godzilla 2014 toyline! Today Photo & Content contributor conundrum has been kind enough to share images of the Godzilla Destruction City Set!
This set let’s you build, and then obviously destroy, your own scale generic city. Included are not 1 but 2 monsters for your destructive pleasure as well. The titular Godzilla of course, and the other creature we’ve seen rumor and speculation of for months, Muto!
So, would you like to build a tiny city and destroy it all at your leisure? Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to see conundrum’s full gallery of the set and decide for yourself! And don’t forget that Godzilla destroys theaters May 16th!

With a little over a month to go until Godzilla stomps into theaters, street dates have been broken and this reviewer has gotten his hands on the Destruction City set!
The set includes a Godzilla figure, a 'Muto' figure, 7 building pieces, 2 bridge pieces, 2 jets, 2 helicopters, and 1 battleship.
Godzilla stands at approximately 3 inches tall and only has limited forward and backward movement at the shoulders and hips. Despite it's small size, there is a lot of intricate sculpted details all over the figure and the paint applications are minimal but effective.
The 'Muto' figure also stands at approximately 3 inches tall and does not have any articulation. The figure has some detailing on the head and is cast in a reddish-black plastic.
All of the vehicles in the set a little over in an inch in length and are cast in a mid-grey plastic. The helicopters do have moving rotors despite the reduced scale.
The buildings are simple, molded in a single color, but they do have a lot of fine details on them from the windows to the numbers on the 'warehouses'. The different pieces do not clip or lock in place to form buildings, they just sit on top of one another.
Overall, the Destruction City pack from the Godzilla line is a fun set with a lot of playability.

It was a shame, but also a nice surprise to see that of all the Godzilla toys I expected to see at Toys'R'Us, the Destruction City was all gone. This set definitely is one of the more popular options, seeing as it ZOMG SPOILERS includes a Muto SPOILER OVER and has loads of playability without relying on any gimmicks.
Also worth noting that two variants exist, with the buildings in grey or olive green, and apparently the grey ones will not be in production down the line, so yaaaaay artificial collectability.

So... How does this scale with the Retrofire Megazords or SRC Daizyujin?

I've got this set and the figures are rather tiny. Godzilla come up the to crotch of all the new deluxe Generations TFs.

gah...if it wasn't so tiny I'd pick it up in a heart beat...

Muto looks like something that'd be in Evangelion. I'm guessing it's gonna be an original monster for the film?
