S.H. MonsterArts Gigan (2004) Great Battle Ver. Revealed

Posted on April 21, 2021 at 12:31 pm by ZeoRangerV under Godzilla

The Bandai Tamashii Nations website and official Godzilla Twitter account have revealed a special reissue of S.H. MonsterArts Gigan (2004), previously released all the way back in 2014. This new Godzilla: Final Wars “Great Battle” version includes everything that was packaged with the original release (alternate armour plating and chainsaw hands from his later appearance in the film) as well as an eye laser effect part, extending grappling hook parts and additional cables for said hooks.

The figure is a Tamashii web exclusive, releasing in September 2021 and priced 15180 yen. Preorders open at 16:00 JST on Friday April 23rd!

I love it, I love Gigan. Looks great, incredibly well detailed.
But...Isn't that price a little excessive, Bandai? C'mon, some of us lost our jobs last year

    That's a really nice-looking figure, but not as nice-looking of a price.

edit: Not that I'm saying it's overpriced - these high-quality collector's figures are never going to be cheap...but I am

I love these, but I really wish Toho would let Neca produce more than just different Godzilla's.

More like wish NECA wasn't too chicken shit to risk making something other than Godzilla.
