More Kamen Rider Gaim news just keeps coming today! After being rumored a few weeks back we finally have confirmation of yet another new rider for Gaim! Armored Rider Knuckle will be appearing very soon thanks to a particular event and theft in this weeks episode 15. Be sure to get caught up to that episode and pay attention, you’ll know when you see it.

Knuckle will be based on the MP style Kurokage under suit, with a helmet/face plate design very similar to Gridon, but he’ll use the Walnut Lock Seed to henshin! He appears to have gauntlet style weapons rather than the more traditional ranged and melee weapons of the other riders!

Another unfortunate passing for the tokusatsu community today. Ichiro Nagai, at age 82, has passed away. Currently his cause of death is unknown as police investigate. Possibly best known to tokusatsu fans for his role as GekiJyuKen Master ShaFu in Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger, Mr. Nagai had many notable anime voice acting credits through out his career. His toku roles included:

  • Basebal Mask (Himitsu Sentai Goranger)
  • Devil Batter (J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai)
  • Master ShaFu (Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger)
  • Narrator (Kamen Rider G)

Ichiro Nagai will be truly missed by many. On behalf of all TokuNation staff and members we’d like to give our condolences to Mr. Nagai’s family.

Tokunation.com’s look at the recently released Power Rangers Super Megaforce merchandise continues with a full gallery of the wave 1 5″ Super Megaforce Rangers!

Each of the Super Megaforce Rangers comes packaged with 1 Super Mega Saber and 1 Super Mega Blaster. The Red, Blue, and Green Rangers all share the same male buck body but with a unique head sculpt and the Pink and Yellow Rangers both share the same female buck but with a different head sculpt. Thanks to sister site ToyArk we’ve got our first official look at Pacific Rim Series 3 figures Coyote Tango & Cherno Alpha. NECA recently posted the first images of these fully painted figures to tease their upcoming February release. Were you a fan of Let’s Watch Wednesdays with Ultraman Nexus? If so then you’re in luck, on top of our previous Ultraman Nexus Junis Red & Junis Blue galleries we have a special web exclusive treat for you! Today we have a gallery of Ultra-Act Dark Zagi!

Zagi himself is a dark clone or copy of Nexus’ original form, Ultraman Noa. As such he has immense power at his control and is wildly violent. First rearing his ugly mug  in the Nexus finale, Zagi (or at least some version of him) would later return in Ultraman Ginga briefly. Though not the first or last dark giant or evil/dark Ultra, Zagi is certainly one of the most vile. Schemeing for decades towards his ultimate goal Zagi has gone down as one of the great Ultra villains. And this figure more than lives up to the image of that character, a welcome addition to any Ultra-Act collection.

As seen in the attached images, DJ Sagura will be giving Kouta a new Lock Seed in an upcoming episode of Kamen Rider Gaim. In fact it’s a duplicate Lemon Energy Lock Seed like the one Duke uses. This seed plus the Genesis Driver attachment, when used with the Sengoku Driver, allows Gaim to become Jinba Lemon Arms!

When the 38th Super Sentai, Ressha Sentai Toqger, premieres we’ll be following the adventures of 5 heroes who protect the Rainbow Line from the recently revealed members of the Shadow Line! 

The image we have here shows us what appears to be 4 aristocratic commanders/generals in the Shadow Line organization, yet another evil underground empire. From left to right we have General Schwartz, Baron Nero, Madame Noa & Miss Greeta.

With the Ressha Sentai Toqger official unveiling press conference happening right now, you can expect plenty more images & information in the next couple of days. All aboard!

Previewed last month, we finally have some release details for the upcoming S.H. Figuarts releases of the Sakura Hurricane & Rose Attacker from Kamen Rider Gaim.

Sakura Hurricane will be out in June as a standard retail release, though no price has been announced yet. Curiously Rose Attacker is slated for July release, but as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. Again no price has been revealed. We’ll keep you up to date as more info becomes available for both of these upcoming releases!

Let’s Watch Wednesdays @ Tokunation returns! Though I suppose we were never gone ;) After a few intense and close rounds of voting, the community has spoken. It was a tight race at the end but our next Let’s Watch segment will be Mahou Sentai Magiranger! And now it’s time to meet the Ozu family, mother Miyuki and her 5 children.

But this is by no means an average family! Little do her kids know, Miyuki is actually a magician chose by the heavenly saint and known as Magi Mother! And soon it’ll be up to her kids to take on Branken, Vancuria, & the Infershia as Mahou Sentai Magiranger! But they better watch out, the Dark Magic Knight Wolzard has arrived alongside the Infershia with goals of his own. Can these 5 siblings inherit the legacy of their mother and long lost father to defend the world?

But we also need to announce the winners of our last LWW giveaway from Kamen Rider Blade! Up for grabs was a grand prize of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade, we also had a secondary prize yet to be revealed. Well that’s a little white lie. There were two yet to be revealed items. First the grand prize winner will receive both Kamen Rider Blade AND his bike the Blue Spader!
