It’s same bat-time same bat-channel yet again here at Tokunation! It’s time for another Let’s Watch Wednesdays! But this week we have a twist! Ultraman Nexus features a couple of special episodes in it’s run and this week we have one of them! Not only will we be watching episodes 28-30 but we’ll also be seeing the Director’s Cut of episode 29, which well shed much needed light on a foggy mountain…

Senjyu Ren, the Prometheus Project, Illustrator, Ultraman. These things are all connected and apparently to the Illustrators’ surprise. Ren appears to be the target of more than one group as he struggles with his bond to the light. A new Dark Field controlled by an Unknown Hand appears to take shape around the Night Raiders and Ultraman. But without Mephisto/Mizorogi around anymore, whose game are they playing?

Yet another set of magazine scans has popped up for Kamen Rider Gaim. Some we saw earlier today but the new bits focus on none of than Kamen Rider Baron, the banana themed Knight of Spear! These shots give us a better look at his weapon the BanaSpear and his bike the Rose Attacker!

Additional images focus on Gaim and his bike, Sakura Hurricane, which we saw earlier. Meanwhile we also get a good look at this horse as well as his weapons, Daidamaru and the Musou Saber as well as their combined form, Daidaimaru Naginata Mode.

Well folks our time with Ultraman Nexus is coming to an end next month. But you know what that means? New show time for Let’s Watch Wednesdays @ Tokunation! As with every Let’s Watch Wednesdays segment we want you, the community, to decide what you’d like to see next. This will be an open thread strictly for nominating possible choices of what show to watch after Nexus. 4 simple rules apply here:

  • Shows from the last 3 years are NOT ELIGIBLE . We want people to broaden their horizons and check out some older shows they otherwise wouldn’t. And although the entire community may not have viewed a particular show already, it’s far more likely for recent shows that a majority has. Viewership tends to decrease when we do repeats of newer series.
  • Only shows which are COMPLETELY subbed are eligible. If a sub group has only done 30 out of 50 episodes you see the problem we run into. Complete shows only
  • Shows that have not completed airing are also ineligible, Wizard, Kyoryuger, etc
  • Shows that have been previously featured on Let’s Watch Wednesdays are ineligible for entry as well.
    That list includes;

    Gosei Sentai Dairanger
    Choujin Sentai Jetman

Then we will post a poll featuring the top 10 choices from this thread on September 11th. That is the top 10 shows with the most nominations. Of those top 10 choices, whichever has the most votes at the end will be our winner! Remember one nomination per person.

Have you ever thought to yourself “wonder if there’s anyway they could sexy up those Ultra Kaiju’s”? Well it seems that Plex has you covered. They’ve just announced a PVC figure/statue for their Ultra Monster Personification series, this figure in particular, Eleking-San. What better creature to base a sexy bishoujo girl on than the giant eel monster Eleking?

At 23CM tall this quirky piece is scheduled for December release for 8200 yen.

Though this is unconfirmed right now we’re passing the information along about Kamen Rider Wizards’ recently confirmed longer broadcast run.

EDIT! At first this was just rumor but the recent magazine scans at Henshin Justice have confirmed the return of Kamen Rider Decade!

  • Episodes 52 & 53 will feature a parallel world inhabited by monsters, this world is controlled by an entity named Amadam. He also wishes to steal the powers of the Kamen Riders.
  • In this world Haruto will team up with the 13 previous Heisei Kamen Riders by way of a new Wizard Ring. The Legend Rider Ring, which physically summons the 13 previous riders to his side!
  • Masahiro Inoue will reprise his role in person as Kadoya Tsukasa/Kamen Rider Decade for the 2-part special!
  • Kamen Rider Gaim will also appear in the 2-part special making his official debut in another piece of Kamen Rider media, similar to the usual summer movie appearance for new riders. Thus rounding out the full set of all 15 Heisei Riders!

Credit to JIMIVEGAS of sister site TFW2005 for this one. It appears that the second wave of 6″ Armored Power Rangers Megaforce figures are finally hitting retail! This wave includes repacks of the MMPR Red Ranger and Megaforce Red Ranger from series one but introduces 2 new figures as well, MMPR White Ranger (as shown in the video below) and Megaforce Robo Knight!

These figures were spotted at K-Mart Store 3592 in Las Vegas Nevada so let the hunt begin!
