Kyoryu Red Carnival, Gabutyra De Carnival New Images

Posted on August 22, 2013 at 11:20 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

After the avalanche of recent magazine scans we have one more to top it all off. Two new images of Kyoryu Red Carnival and Gabutyra De Carnival in both toy and show form!

Using the 1+ Gabutyra battery in combination with the Gabutyra De Carnival weapon, Kyoryu Red becomes Kyoryu Red Carnival! The battery made it’s debut in this weeks’ episode but it’ll be another couple weeks before we see Carnival appear. Super Hero Time is being preempted this week for a special airing of Super Hero Taisen among other things so that means you can look for Carnival to appear on Sunday September 1st!

S.H. Figuarts Revived Apollo Geist Announced

Posted on August 20, 2013 at 1:05 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

With the impending release of normal Apollo Geist this month via the Tamashii Web Shop, I don’t think anyone expected this announcement. Now the upgraded/revived form of Apollo Geist from Kamen Rider X will be receIving the S.H. Figuarts treatment as well via the Toei Hero Net website! Revived Apollo Geist will be 4410 yen and due for January 2014 release.

Toei Hero Net tends to be the dead zone for figures that Bandai deems poor sellers. Exclusives that they can’t justify even producing in the already limited quantities of Tamashii Webshop Exclusives. So be aware that anything for sale at Toei Hero Net will be produced in a smaller quantity than usual such as the Zodiarts Figuarts Zero’s and S.H. Figuarts Gokai Christmas. So get with your favorite webshop middleman now to secure an order!

Let’s Watch Wednesdays Week 7 Ultraman Nexus 19-21

Posted on August 14, 2013 at 10:43 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, TokuNation Spotlights, Ultraman

Let’s Watch Wednesdays @Tokunation is ready to burst onto the scene again! Ultraman Nexus is stomping evil with the giant foot of justice once more!

Last week ended with Mizorogi being seemingly defeated by Nagi. And after the revelations of their past together and Dark Mephisto’s bond with Mizorogi, Nagi confronts Jun. But there’s no time for that as another beast approaches. But Jun’s wounds are too severe after his many battles. How will he survive long enough to destroy a beast which continues to grow stronger?

As always be sure to pop into our weekly LWW Discussion thread. Every post that you make in these discussion threads will be taken into account at the end for a prize drawing! And if last weeks clue wasn’t obvious enough, you get another one to make it easier this week! Clue #2 is U.

So let’s watch Ultraman Nexus 19-21!

New Kamen Rider Knight Survive S.H. Figuart Teased?

Posted on August 14, 2013 at 10:34 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

A pair of images has surfaced overnight showcasing what appears to be a new release of S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Knight Survive from Kamen Rider Ryuki! Some have speculated this to simply be a color faded Knight Survive but don’t be fooled by this clean silver paint scheme. As many owners of Kuuga Rising Mighty know, paint fading is never that crisp or evenly distributed.

What we may be looking at is a new version of Knight Survive from the Kamen Ruder Ryuki Novel due for release on August 30th. If the new Heisei Rider novels have shown us anything it’s that they like to make additions to the existing mythos of the series they’re from. The new Kamen Rider Cyclone from the W Novel received the SHF treatment just recently. So if in fact this version of Knight Survive is in the Ryuki novel then this could be an early tease of it’s release.

So is it a new figure? The most extreme case of paint fade on a figuart? A custom? You let us know what you think in this thread while we scour the net for further info on this figure!

Posted on August 7, 2013 at 12:32 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, TokuNation Spotlights, Ultraman

Another week means another Wednesday, which also means Ultraman Nexus continues his battle against the Beasts in this weeks installment of Let’s Watch Wednesdays!

After the destruction of Faust we saw the appearance of Mephisto, an even darker and more powerful giant. Nosferu continues it’s multi-episode rampage from last week, and Jun attempts to save Kazuki from his pain and the dark. Will Kazuki overcome his rage and doubt? As Mizorogi’s plan continues and the pain of loss weighs on Kazuki’s heart will he succumb to the darkness? And how did Mizorogi become the devil, Mephisto?

As always please be sure to post your thoughts in our weekly LWW discussion thread posted HERE. A prize drawing is coming up and every post you make in these discussion threads will count. On the topic of prizes we’ll give you one hint. The letter Q. ;)

So let’s watch Ultraman Nexus 16-18!
