under TokuNation Spotlights

A little over a week ago we launched the website and have enjoyed welcoming a number of Tokusatsu fans in to a soley Tokusatsu dedicated website for news and community discussion. But the part that tickled us (the staff) the most was discovering that some users were just as excited as we were to open the site and made their own YouTube promotional videos (at their own disgression).

So we’d like to take this moment to thank our users KamenRiderOOO and GokaiRed for their YouTube promo videos for TokuNation.com! Please check them out below.

Some people like to collect the Zords that form various Megazords from Power Rangers. Others like to collect the action figures, or like myself, the S.H. Figuarts versions of your favorite Super Sentai teams (Toys’R’Us Shinken Red and Gold anyone?). But one of the more popular things to collect are the various morphers (the devices that our heroes use to transform in to the Power Rangers).

The full 73 second long trailer for the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Uchuu Keiji Gavan The Movie has been released on YouTube by TOEI’s official YouTube account.

As you can see, we’ll be treated to the already-known all Pink change, but also an all-White change. For you Power Rangers fans out there, don’t let the sight of Captain Marvelous wearing our beloved Kimberly’s costume destroy your vivid childhood memories.

When it comes to online gaming, there’s really only one area in the world where the gaming environment itself can be called truly hardcore – and that my friends is in Korea.

Siliconera.com is reporting that there is a Power Rangers MMO currently in beta-testing. The game is developed by Ntreev Soft, and will focus on Power Rangers: Mystic Force. It’s confusing at first, since it’s all in an Asian dialect your first thought is “hey look, Magiranger!” … but no, the logo specifically calls this game: Power Rangers MMO.

More rumours about the Gokaiger vs Gavan movie!


  • The movie starts with an opening narration that not only the 34 Super Sentai teams participated in the Legend War and fought the Zangyack armada. The three Space Sheriffs and the rest of the Metal Heroes participated as well.
  • The original three B-Fighters are shown fighting Gormin. For some reason B-Fighter Kabuto is fighting alongside Janperson and Gun Gibson. SolBraver and Knight Fire are working hard saving lives and helping civilians escape.
  • Jealoushitto, the three Gaiark Ministers and Kaze no Shizuka will appear in Gokaiger vs. Gavan. Their parts are only minor ones, just like the G3 Princess had in the Summer movie.
  • Some guy saw them filming a scene (could be a TV episode) where Jealoushitto is in a fist fight with a dead Walz Gil (has one of those triangular cloths wrapped around his head signifying him being a ghost).

  • Set to first appear in the upcoming Gokaiger vs Gavan movie.
  • The Gobusters’ henshin device is known as the “Mission Paneler” When the “Change Panel” is pushed, the Gobusters suits appear!
  • The Gobusters are composed of GobusRed, GobusBlue, GobusYellow, GobusGreen, and GobusWhite. Based on previous info, Green and White may join a little after, or be the rumored “partners” of the main team.
