After months of waiting, speculation and leaked shots, we FINALLY have an official image of the 15th Hesei-Era Kamen Rider!
Kamen Rider Drive is the cover model for the latest issue of The Kamen Rider EX Magazine. At the moment there is only one image available but we do get a good look at Drive’s suit, Driver and (presumably) the Shift Cars that allow Drive to change forms during combat.
Kamen Rider Drive should begin on October 5th so stay tuned to TokuNation until then for further details!
The Power Morphicon convention is almost underway and already we have some very exciting news!
Early photos from the display room confirm that the Dino Charge Megazord (proper name not yet confirmed) will have a Pink Triceratops arm, matching the original series footage, and contrary to the images we have previously seen which seemed to confirm it was purple in an effort to make the toy more appealing to boys.
Representatives from Bandai of America claim that the switch was made after negative fan-reaction to the planned color swap. While exact details remain unconfirmed at the time of writing, this definitely seems like a step in the right direction for Dino Charge! Bandai has put up an official page for the next massive MonsterArts release: Mecha King Ghidorah! This page confirms that Ghidorah’s newest release will include three miniature Dorat figurines- an excellent touch for Godzilla buffs!
The mighty robotic dragon will be up for orders starting August 22 with an anticipated release in February 2015. The price is a steep 19,440 Yen before shipping & handling. Definitely a lot of coin but probably worth it for such a beautiful figure.
The recent round of magazine scans have finally given us our first look at the DarkLiner Robo– the massive enemy robot controlled by the Shadow Line and a vital weapon in the fight against the ToQGers.
Premium Bandai’s DarkLiner Robo can transform from robot to DarkLiner Train form and has alternative heads- one for the standard issue Robo and another representing General Schwarz’s personal attack craft.
The Premium Bandai DarkLiner Robo will cost 12960 Yen before shipping and middleman fees. If you’re interested then contact your buyer of choice before its release in December 2014
Some new information about the upcoming Kamen Rider Drive toyline has surfaced online. Keep in mind once again ALL DETAILS REGARDING KAMEN RIDER DRIVE REMAIN UNCONFIRMED BY OFFICIAL SOURCES. The actual toys & weapons may not match our early concepts!
Thanks to previous catalog leaks we know the collectors’ gimmick for Kamen Rider Drive is Shift Cars which will unlock new powers. Based on these recent reveals, we can identify some of the Shift Cars that will be available in early waves:
*Set 02 will contain Shift Dimension and Shift Dream Pegasus
*Gashapon Set 02 features Shift Burning Solar
In addition, Drive will also use Tires as a secondary gimmick. Based on the brief glimpses we have of Kamen Rider Drive’s suit thus far, we can assume the Tires will grant Drive new armor and weapons. Tires will be sold as add-ons for the TK collectible action-figure series (this years’ answer to Arms Change). Some Tires will be sold with new Drive figures, some will be sold only as sets (similar to the Module Changes from Kamen Rider Fourze).
*TK 02 will contain the Funky Spike, Massive Monster and Justice Hunter Tires.
*TK 03 is Drive’s second Type, Wild and includes the Rumble Dump Tire
*TK 04 contains Dream Pegasus, Mad Doctor and Spin Mixer Tires
*TK 05 features Drive’s third type, Technique and includes the Fire Braver Tire.

The good people at RangerCrew have put up a brief new promo highlighting the return of Power Rangers Super Megaforce to Nickelodeon, which is just a few short weeks away!
This promo features a few clips from the final unaired episodes, including the Ranger’s ultimate battle with Prince Vekar!

Thanks to a leaked photo of the upcoming toyline, we may now have our first real look at the design of Kamen Rider Drive! This TK 01 action figure (this years’ super-poseable series, the replacement for Gaim’s Arms Change) definitely matches up with early concept images and seems very similar to the on-set photos.
Speaking of which, two more photos taken during the filming of Kamen Rider Drive have surfaced online- one of which offers us a glimpse at Drive’s rival, Machin Chaser! It seems the secondary character will use the traditional motorcycle for transportation while Drive handles the Trideron vehicle.

The voices for the upcoming GARO anime project have finally been revealed!
*Leon Lewis, the animated Garo, will be voiced by Daisuke Namikawa an outstanding voiceover veteran perhaps best know to tokusatsu fans as Speedor from Engine Sentai Go-Onger.
*Herman Lewis, Leon’s guardian, is portrayed by Kenyu Horiuchi another long-term performer with several projects under his belt.
*New Makai Priestess Emma will be played by Romi Park, whose previous voicework includes Digimon Adventure 02, Naruto and Kill la Kill.
*Last but not least, the mysterious prince Alfonso will be voiced by Katsuhito Nomura a relative newcomer to voice acting.
In addition, JAM Project will be returning to GARO once again & perform the opening theme of this new anime project.
Garo: Seal of Flames will premiere in Fall 2014 (exact release date still unconfirmed. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!
Another new video game is on the way for Kamen Rider fans!
With thanks to The Tokusatsu Network for the heads up, SummonRide uses a variety of Rider figurines through gameplay, similar to the Skylanders franchise. Placing a figure over the Rider Gate makes that character appear in-game. Character attacks can also be augmented through Chips sold alongside the figurines. Sets of 2 chips & 2 figurines will retail for 1800 Yen apiece while other Chips will be sold at the 1500 yen pricepoint.
The Kamen Riders used in SummonRide are categorized by elemental-based powers: Fire, Water, Wind, Light and Darkness. Each element set contains at least 3 Kamen Riders, with additional Riders presumably joining the lineup after the initial release.

Even approaching the end, Arms Change still manages another surprise!
Previous listings had hinted at one more Premium Bandai Arms Change exclusive action figure. Now, a new teaser has come online proving that the Premium release in question is Yomotsu Heguri Arms– the interesting new final form unlocked by Mitsuzane seen in recent magazine scans. Preorders for this figure will open in September and cost 4000 Yen.
In addition Premium Bandai will be offering a special DX Yomi LockSeed complete with a new Sengoku Driver faceplate based on this new form. This set will open for orders late August and cost a mere 2000 Yen.
