Bandai has officially revealed a new exclusive for the upcoming San Diego ComicCon: a Legacy Morpher with a golden faceplate, including the Green and White Power Coins!
This is the first time either Green or White Power Coins have been made for American audiences. The Golden Morpher is limited to 1000 releases and will be sold this July 18-21 in San Diego!

Special distributor Sentai Filmworks has obtained the license to distribute legendary anime (and Super Sentai spiritual ancestor) “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman” in America!
All 105 episodes and three O.V.A. releases will be included in the special DVD & BluRay box sets. At the moment price is not available but release date is estimated for October.
While not a Tokusatsu, seeing as this is an animated series, the show has been related many times over to the Super Sentai franchise. And a live action film starring several tokusatsu alumni, not least of which being Tori Matsuzaka (Shinken Red), will be released later this year!
Kyoryu Violet Officially Revealed!
After months of rumor and speculation, new magazine scans have give us our first real look at the 9th Kyoryuger!
Kyoryu Violet is indeed portrayed by series narrator Shigeru Chiba! His character’s name is Doctor Ulshade, inventor of the GabRevolvers. Ulshade is accompanied by his granddaughter, who may be poised to take over his duties as a Kyoryuger.
Violet’s Voltasaur is a plesiosaur-inspired Mecha known as “Plezuon” which transforms to Robot Mode, referred to as “Plezu-Oh.” When combined with Gabutyra and Bunpatchy, Plezuon creates Exploding KyoRyuJin!

Armored Tyranno will be released in November for 3675 Yen and has been confirmed for US distribution through Bluefin (though American price is yet to be revealed.)
