under Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Super Sentai

There may have been plenty of news concerning the staff of the forthcoming Super Hero Taisen sequel, but news of the plot and characters has been minimal. But now, courtesy of Henshin Justice Unlimited we bring you the first proper magazine scans for Kamen Rider x Super Sentai x Space Sheriffs: Super Hero Taisen Z!

As previously suggested, the villains for this movie will be Space Shocker – a group made up of various villains from across the universe. Among their ranks is original Kamen Rider villain Ikadevil, who has been renamed Space Ikadevil and will be appearing in a new remade suit.

Various team ups and face offs include a team up of Kamen Rider Super-1 and Kamen Rider Meteor, who are displayed performing a Space Rider Double Kick! Geki Jumonji will return as the new Gavan, who claims that in order to protect the peace of outer space, he needs to defeat Kamen Rider Wizard. Meanwhile Kamen Rider Beast will battle against Sharivan! The Kyoryugers will also be appearing in the film, along with past heroes Kamen Rider Fourze and the Go-Busters!

With only a week away until the first episode of Power Rangers Megaforce airs, Nickelodeon are continuing to fuel the hype with a brand new teaser trailer. Though once again only a 35 second teaser, this one reveals the voice of Warstar leader Admiral Malkor!

under Super Sentai

With news coming in thick and fast of the 37th Super Sentai team, the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, blog Alpha Hero Shock has provided a massive update of many of the characters appearing in the series.

First we have the previously rumoured villains, who are indeed known as the Devoss Gun. They are led by Chaos, the 100-face Priest. Their goal is to revive Devoss, an entity of which each general is a part of, and will be able to create DevoMonsters to fight the Kyoryugers. These generals are:

Dogold, Knight of Anger
Candelilla, Knight of Joy
Aigaron, Knight of Sadness
Luckyuro, Knight of Fun

Next we have the team’s mentor Torin the Wise God, who appears to be a bird-like creature. KyoryuRed and Green’s fathers will also appear in the show, and will be played by Shinji Yamashita and Junichi Haruta respectively.

Finally there’s the Spirit Base which will serve as the base of operations for the series. It will have a special place where the Zyudenchi (or Beast Batteries) will be stored. The list of currently known Zyudenchi is as follows:

under Kamen Rider

Courtesy of Henshin Justice Unlimited we have a translation of the synopses for the forthcoming Kamen Rider Agito and Kamen Rider 555 novels, both of which were co-written by series head for each series Toshiki Inoue.

The Kamen Rider Agito novel, written by Inoue and Naohiro Okamura, is a retelling of the series plot, including major scenes from the show as well as new plot. The synopsis on the back of the book says:

Shoichi, a young man who is fighting as Agito against the Unknown, despite suffering from amnesia. Ryo has managed to awaken the power of Gills, but because of that his body is slowly decaying. As well as G3, Hikawa, how will their fates intervene?

Meanwhile the Faiz novel, written by Inoue and Kenji Konuta, is a sequel to the 2004 novel “Grotesque Flowers”.

It’s been 5 years and Takumi and Mari haven’t heard or seen from Keitaro, Kusaka, Naoya, or Kiba after the incidents from Grotesque Flowers. All of a sudden, out of nowhere a new shining warrior appears. No one seems to know who this person is. Takumi and Mari, who have both been trying to live peaceful lives, have to once again fight together.

The two novels are to be released on January 31st.

under Ultraman

The official Namco Bandai Youtube account has uploaded a new promo of the forthcoming Ultraman All Star Chronicle game for PSP. This turn-based strategy game will be the first solo Ultraman title (as opposed to crossovers with other franchises) in six years. Check out the video below:

Ultraman All Star Chronicle is due for release in Japan on March 7th.

With the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers upon us, its not surprising that this year will see more merchandise than ever before of the franchise. One of the more unusual pieces due for release is a Power Rangers Monopoly board game, and the Official Power Rangers Facebook Page is giving fans the opportunity to vote on the final token for it.

Wave one of the Power Rangers Megaforce Mini Battle Ready figures have hit retail, and courtesy of our friends over at RangerCrew/Megaforce Cast here is a gallery of all the figures included in the wave. Each blindbag includes one figure and an Action card, and is made up of a variety of Megaforce and Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers figures. Like the Power Rangers Samurai Mega Bloks figures, each bag is stamped with a code which can be used to find a specific figure.

In addition to the news that Kamen Rider Den-O Axe Form will be receiving the Figuarts treatement as a Tamashii web exclusive in June, newly surfaced magazine scans have revealed that an SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Liner Form will be released in April!

The final form of the titular character, Liner form comes packaged with the DenKamen Sword and the Rider Pass and will be priced 3360 yen.

A recent magazine scan has confirmed the names of the Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger mecha partners, via romanized names that appear on each of their Jyuudenchi or Beast Batteries.

The names are as follows:

Recently we reported the discovery of an SH Figuarts Phoenix Phantom figure, however any specific details were a complete mystery. Well thanks to the latest issue of FigureOh, we bring you news that he will be among Bandai’s Tamashii Web Exclusives for June.
