SDCC 2013 Preview – 20th Anniversary Golden Legacy Morpher

Posted on July 6, 2013 at 1:38 am by Chris under San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con 2013 is only a little over a week away from the time of this post, and TokuNation.com will be there from Day 1 giving you full coverage of everything Tokusatsu related – from Power Rangers to Bandai to Bluefin Tamashii to Megablocks to more!

The most anticipated and demanded item is finally available – but only as a SDCC exclusive (for now). Released earlier this year, the 20th Anniversary Legacy Power Morpher gave us the morphing buckler from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in diecast metal along with a chrome finish. Lights and sounds gave us the classic communicator beep, and the classic theme song.

This year at San Diego Comic Con, you will have a chance to get one of a 1000 limited edition 24K Gold Plated Green and White Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Legacy Morpher! The 6th Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had the same “buckler” as the others, but it was gold and he obviously has his own coin (the White Ranger, who came from the Super Sentai Dairanger, was even given his own unique coin). The Dragon Coin and White Tiger Coin come with this Golden Legacy Morpher.

This is single-handedly the most wanted 20th Anniversary Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toy this year. We’ll be in line to get ours – and if we’re lucky, a couple more to give to you!

Check out the pictures (packaging and a display picture) by clicking on the title bar.

Don’t forget – TokuNation.com will be in attendance at San Diego Comic Con 2013 and on the floor before anyone else! We will be updating LIVE from the event – don’t miss our coverage!! Follow us @TokuNation on Twitter and also be sure to ”Like” our Facebook page so you don’t miss a single thing! We’ll be broadcasting live on Twitter, with pictures, information, and video!

See you at the con!

First Official Image of SDCC S.H.Figuarts Metallic Pink Samurai Ranger

Posted on June 27, 2013 at 1:33 am by Kiryu under San Diego Comic Con

As a follow up to the S.H.Figuarts Metallic Blue Samurai Ranger revealed yesterday, Bluefin has now shown the S.H.Figuarts Pink Samurai ranger, done up in the same exquisite finish!

The Pink Samurai ranger is seen wielding her signature Sky Fan weapon, which just like Blue’s Hydro Bow also appears to be lacking a matching paint job.

Likewise with Blue, Pink also saw a limited run release as a Tamashi Web exclusive.

First Official Image Of SDCC Metallic S.H.Figuarts Blue Samurai Ranger

Posted on June 26, 2013 at 12:37 am by Kiryu under San Diego Comic Con

Straight from Bluefin’s facebook account, here’s our first look at the individual figures contained in the SDCC S.H.Figuarts Samurai Ranger set, with a photo of the S.H.Figuarts Blue Samurai Ranger!

He’s seen holding his signature Hydro Bow weapon which doesn’t appear to be painted in matching metallic colors.

Collectors of S.H.Figuarts will know that this figure was previously only available for a brief time as a Tamashi Web release. This will be the first time the figure sees a release in North America!
