Posted on July 17, 2013 at 8:49 pm by Joe Moore under San Diego Comic Con

The First images are in from from our team visting Bandai’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2013!

Highlights of the preview night include:

  • Legacy Dragonzord & Dragon Dagger! Both featuring diecast parts as we’ve come to expect from “Legacy” releases. The Dragonzord appears to be fully capable of combining with either the MMPR 2010 or Legacy Megazords!
  • Super Megaforce’s Legendary Megazord! A new original scaled down verion of the Gokaioh from Gokaiger. It looks like in lieu of opening compartments that pegs have been strategically placed to make the combined forms.
  • American Mobirates and Ranger Keys! Also a scaled down version of the original Mobirates from Gokaiger. Name is currently unconfirmed for this piece at this time.

UPDATE: Jumbo size MMPR Megazord resin proto on display as well!

Much much more to follow in the coming days!

Straight from Kickback himself we have confirmation that a set of the core 5 Kyoryu Sentai Zyurangers / Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers S.H.Figuarts are on display!! Bandai Tamashii and Bluefin have both begun releasing these figure in Japan and the US respectively. Dragon/Green Ranger & Tyranno/Red Ranger are only just seeing release with Pterra/Pink Ranger confirmed as a web exclusive in Japan this fall and a US retail release as well.

This is the first time the core 5 Zyurangers/Power Rangers have been shown on display together and confirms their future releases! Each of course includes their signature weapons. It’s currently unconfirmed however, due to a no photo policy for the night, whether or not the US release of Tiger/Yellow Ranger will include an alternate skirt accessory for MMPR fans. San Diego Comic Con 2013 is less than a week away, and TokuNation.com is going to be there in attendance to bring all the pictures, news, and more that you could ever ask for.

Another item up for grabs at Bandai‘s booth this year is the 4 inch Metallic Mighty Morphin Green Ranger with Power Coin. If you want the complete set of coins, you’ll need this bad boy as well as the highly-sought-after Golden Legacy Morpher, another SDCC 2013 exclusive.

This figure will be sold for $25 and is limited to only 300 pieces.

Also note – site owner and administrator Kickback will not only be at SDCC 2013 this year, but is also confirmed for a meet and greet with legendary Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver, the Green and White Ranger.

Kickback will be broadcasting on Twitter and Facebook throughout the show, answering your questions and taking pictures at your request. Follow us @TokuNation on Twitter and be sure to ”Like” us on Facebook so you can stay up to speed with everything happening at SDCC 2013!

Go Go Power Rangers!
