Wild!

TokuNation continues racing down the track of justice with Kamen Rider Drive! And today we bring you another gallery & video pairing from the Tire Koukan toyline, it’s none other than TK-03 Kamen Rider Drive Type Wild!

Type Wild is only the second stand alone figure release in this line but it already sets the bar high. Rather than just a decent figure like the previously released Type Speed, or a stand alone accessory set like TK-02, Drive Type Wild is the full package. An excellently detailed figure complemented by the perfect accessories. His standard Type Wild Tire, the Rumble Dump Tire capable of splitting off it’s drill attachment for hand to hand use, and to top it of the Handle Sword! Type Wild really has it all, with that mean walking tank look and these weapons it’s a definite winner.

The first of the Premium Bandai items from Kamen Rider Drive X Kamen Rider Gaim Movie War Full Throttle’s just opened up for pre order: and it’s the E.L.S HEX Lock Seed of Kamen Rider Duke.

 

What’s more, the good doctor’s actor Tsunenori Aoki appears in character as Professor Ryoma Sengoku himself to promote this item, continuing the trend from previous Premium Bandai Gaim releases.

The DX HEX Lock Seed will be released January 5th retailing for the reasonable price of 2,160 yen before shipping and middleman fees are factored in.

Following the release of S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed’s offical gallery just yesterday, the S.H.Figuarts Trideron compaion piece was featured in much more detail in this month’s issue of Figureoh magazine along with our first look at the inside of the figure itself. S.H.Figuarts Drive will be able to fit inside of course, though how this will be done is still unknown.

 

With how much press the S.H.Figuarts Trideron is receiving, the possibility for an actual release seems highly likely! Though whether or not this will be mass retail or Web Shop only, the scans do not say.

At the recently held Miyazawa Model Exhibition, Medicom was present to unveil new products. Of note, we have a new RAH DX Kamen Rider Black 2.0 on the way.

The high end Century King will be going up for pre order this January and will be shipped sometime in August.

The cost of the figure will be a steep 22,680 yen but the time gap between release should offer plenty of time to save up.

Some time ago we reported on upcoming Bandai Premium releases for Kamen Rider Drive X Kamen Rider Gaim Movie War Full Throttle. Today, new details about these special roleplay items have come online!

Although originally speculated as a two-pack; these items will be sold separately.

 

*The E.L.S. HEX LockSeed used by Kamen Rider Duke & containing the power of DragonFruit Arms will cost 2160 Yen. Orders for this item will be open from November 21 to January 5 2015/

*The Lupin Gunner, signature weapon  of Kamen Rider Lupin & with a unique bladed Viral Core will cost 4860 Yen. This item will open for order on December 2nd and remain up until February 27 2015.

Kurumi Arms, misterrrrrrrr Knuckleman!!

Premium Bandai is at it once again! Continuing the ever popular Arms Change line of action figures from Kamen Rider Gaim is the 4th premium AC release. ACPB04 Arms Change Kamen Rider Knuckle Kurumi Arms!

Knuckle is of course the 2nd rider from Team Baron, and was the teams de facto leader after Kaito Kumon quit the Beast Rider scene. Being a bit of mix/match Knuckle winds up having a basic body mostly like that of Kurokage but with an altered semi-Gridon style head. Where Arms Change Kamen Rider Knuckle shines though is the included Kurumi Arms (walnut). A nice big bulky set of armor with quite a bit of detail that really makes this otherwise plain looking figure pop. Then there’s also his trademark weapons the Kurumi Bomber gauntlets. These gigantic fists set Knuckle apart from the rest of the Armored Riders out there making him a strictly short range hand to hand combatant. This unique pairing of Arms & weapons actually work well with almost any Arms Change figure out there too as we’ve demonstrated in the full gallery.

START YOUR ENGINE!! Because all we need is Drive! S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive that is, and you can get your very own in April of 2015 for 4,320 yen.  Tamashii Nations went all out and provided many detail pictures of Kamen Rider Drive as well as a YouTube Video.  Unfortunately the pictures did not disclose Tamashii Nation’s plans with the tire change gimmick features heavily in the show, but the YouTube video did show Kamen Rider Drive with the Max Flare form.  For now, enjoy the pictures and get ready to lose all the tiny shift cars and tell us if you are ready for Drive in our discussion forum.

 

UPDATE: We stumbled upon another image thanks to @pencoin on twitter, it seems that the April release will come with the bonus swappable Max Flare Tire and flame effect, and then Midnight Shadow and Funky Spike will follow in May and June respectively

Joining the Tire Koukan line next month it seems TK-06 Machine Chaser will be more of an all inclusive package than we thought. Not only will he include his Break Gunner weapon but also all 3 weapons accessed from his Chaser Spider, Chaser Bat, & Chaser Cobra Viral Cores! This new image of Machine Chaser also confirms his compatibility with Kamen Rider Drive’s Tires!

So now we know that Machine Chaser can steal and use Shift Cars as recent episodes have shown, the toy demonstrates his ability to use Drive’s Tires, and we know that in the near future his bike the Ride Chaser will have a combination features with Kamen Rider Mach’s Ride Macher. What do all these bits of information amount to? We’ll find out in the coming months.

For now be sure to pick up TK-06 Machine Chaser which releases in December for 3456 yen.

The full music video for Kamen Rider Drive’s theme song, SURPRISE-DRIVE is now online!

This excellent musical production is brought to life by Mitsuru Matsuoka and the new group Earnest Drive.  The song will be officially released on home media December 3rd.

It’s almost December which means time to get ready for that Holliday shopping. For those out there looking to get the perfect stocking stuffer for that special Toku fan, there’s Super Hero Generations: a crossover title involving Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Mobile Suit Gundam which was released on PS3 and PS Vita just last month.

For those still on the fence on picking this title up, multiple videos have found their way onto Youtube. Of note, we have the game’s opening cinematic with Psychic Lover singing the opening theme song

Along with that, we have a couple of gameplay videos of note we have the very first stage of the game which introduces Ultraman Tiga and Kamen Rider Den-O and the stages that introduce Ultraman Ginga and Kamen Rider OOO, the OOO stage seems to be following the Megamax plot with some slight alteration:
