Another Kamen Rider series will be receiving a Blu-Ray release!
Discotek Media has officially licensed the 1987 series Kamen Rider Black– the entire series will be included in this release with English subtitles and remastered HD visuals.
No price has been announced at time of writing but the Kamen Rider Black Blu-Ray release should hit stores in 2023!
Bandai, via Narikiri World, showcased a preview of upcoming items that will become available for pre-order through the month of October. The items preveiwed are:
Fan speculation is that the Gokai Saber – from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger – will be part of the “Memorial” line of items, giving us a near 1:1 scale sword to go with the recently released Memorial Mobirate and Memorial Gokai Cellular.

In celebration of the Kamen Rider Black series, Toei has announced a new production for Kamen Rider Black which will be titled “Kamen Rider Black Sun“. The series is described as a remake.
The series will be directed by Kazuya Shiraishi.

Even with a healthy amount of previous releases mixed in, that’s quite the stack of new reveals from the event. There’s a magnificent display of older releases surrounding the entire rider display that essentially adds up to most if not all of the regular Rider releases from the last decade. It’s an impresssive sight to behold and one that we don’t have the time to list out every individual figure for. Just in case you missed it it, Bandai announced that the ever-popular Kamen Rider Black was joining theS.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Black line on the recent cover of Figure-Oh Magazine, and Tamashii’s offical web page was recently updated with a plethora of images for this upcoming release as well as some product info!
S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Black will be released at general retail in April 2021 retailing for 7,700 yen.
The latest issue of Figure-Oh magazine has just been released, and gracing the cover is the surprise announcement of an S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Black! We’ll bring you more information about this reveal as it comes, and the figure is surely to be on show at the Tamashii Nations 2020 event in a few weeks’ time!
Bandai’s Candy Toy Blog has just fully revealed two new upcoming waves of Shodo-X! Consisting of releases from Kamen Rider Agito as well as Kamen Rider Black & Black RX, we get a huge variety for forms and a few Rider Machines:

– Machine Tornador (A parts)
– Machine Tornador (B Parts)
– Extension set (Weapons & parts to make Flame/Storm forms)
So you get nearly every Agito form aside from Burning as well as his Rider Machine in this wave! Of note however is that you will need duplicates of Ground & Trinity Form in order to have stand-alone Flame & Storm Forms at the same time. So expect to see cases broken down to sell extras when this wave releases.

Comparisons are shown between these new Shodo-X releases and the original Shodo VS releases for Black & company, illustrating the improvements of the X line. So if you picked up the older VS releases, it looks like a fairly significant upgrade this go around.
In an odd bit of news it appears that a selection of classic Japanese tokusatsu will be headed to Netflix! In Brazil.

Japanese-Brazilian entrepreneur Nelson Sato, who imported such things as the Cybercop franchise to Brazil in the 1990’s, orchestrated this deal with Toei after his company released the above series on DVD previously (aside from Kamen Rider Black). An exact date for when these shows will be added to instant streaming on Netflix Brazil hasn’t been announced yet but another press release is incoming from Sato Company regarding these series and several others!
This title nearly fell off the radar, with Bandai Namco Games having released a sequel is coming down the pipe line. The first Lost Heroes game was released in 2012 and features characters from the Mobile Suit Gundam, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider franchises. Lost Heroes 2 also features new characters from the franchise in a battle system reminiscent to the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. Those new heroes are:
