Toei has revealed a special new project for Kamen Rider Faiz!

In celebration of this Riders’ 20th anniversary, a new V-CINEXT film titled Kamen Rider Faiz: Paradise Regained has been announced.

Several cast members from the original series will be returning, including:

*Kento Handa as Takumi
*Yuria Haga as Mari
*Kohei Murakami as Kaixa

Series writer Toshiki Inoue will also return as writer for this new adventure.

A brief teaser has been released for Paradise Regained showing a new costume for Kamen Rider Faiz-

The second upcoming special advertised for the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club today is for fan-favorite Kamen Rider Punk Jack from this year’s Kamen Rider Geats.  The popular character was eliminated from the Desire Grand Prix earlier in the series and  has yet to return.  No official details yet as to the exact release but when it is announced we’ll update the article.

Members of the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club will be eating good later this year as fan-favorite Kamen Rider Shinobi (from Kamen Rider Zi-O) returns to team up with Kamen Rider Tycoon (from Kamen Rider Geats).  At the time of this posting there is no official announcement (aside from a brief commercial) from Toei.  As soon as we get updates (when it comes out, etc.) we’ll update the story.

We were part of a crew with our sister site ToyArk.com to attend the Tamashii Nations World Tour New York City 2023 event earlier today.  On display were some current and upcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider figures.  The ones displayed are:

  • S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Black Sun
  • S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Shadowmoon (Black Sun ver.)
  • S.H. Figuarts Shin Kamen Rider
  • S.H. Figuarts Cyclone (Shin Kamen Rider ver.)
  • S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Masked Rider Faiz

Excellent news for Kamen Rider fans!

The recently released revival film Shin Kamen Rider from legendary creator Hideaki Anno will be receiving a release in US theaters thanks to Fathom Events!

Tickets will go on sale beginning May 5 2023 with the screening of Shin Kamen Rider happening on May 31 2023.

Last weekend was WonderCon 2023 and our own @Exastiken was in attendance for coverage!  With special thanks to Bandai and Team Kamen Rider, we were given an exclusive hands-on look at the upcoming Premium Bandai exclusive S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Tycoon from the popular Kamen Rider Geats series!

Everyone’s favorite tanooki features spinning shuriken accessories and looks stunning in the green and red coloring.

Last weekend was WonderCon 2023 and our very own @Exastiken was in attendance to cover the show.  With special thanks to Bandai and Team Kamen Rider, we were given an exclusive hands-on look at the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Buffa figure from the hit series Kamen Rider Geats.

Check out the articulated details throughout the entirety of the figure.  Fans who ordered him will no-doubt be pleased with their purchase.

Unfortunately, orders are currently closed for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Buffa so you will have to grab one on the after-market when it releases.

Bandai Japan has announced another item in to the lineup from the Complete Style Gigantic (CSG) line – and Kamen Rider Kuuga fans rejoice!  The Pegasus Bowgun will see a CSG release with more details (and orders) coming soon.  This item will be available via Premium Bandai Japan.  We do not have any details or information on whether or not this will see a USA release.

As the tokusatsu community continues to grow and evolve, we want to celebrate the fans who make up that community.  Specifically, we want to highlight and celebrate a number of Black content creators in the tokusatsu community.

Brokusatsu is a content creator on both YouTube as well as social media with impressive a full catalogue of high-quality photos of our favorite tokusatsu characters from Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Power Rangers.  On YouTube, Brokusatsu does “Brokucast”, a podcast-styled series where he shares his thoughts on the news in the tokusatsu communities, as well as product reviews.

We’ve uploaded a few photos from Brokusatsu‘s gallery that he selected here in this story.  But you have to see the full gallery because there are some really amazing shots.
