At the 2012 Licensing Expo, Saban featured merchandises of Power Rangers Megaforce by Mega Bloks. Following the history of adapting various Power Rangers titles into the building block toy format, Power Rangers Megaforce was no exception, The public would be finally be treated to a fully articulated Gosei Great (Megaforce Megazord?) It’s been a busy couple of days at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. Yesterday we learned that Power Rangers Megaforce would be an adaption of Super Sentai Goseiger, which has sparked quite a bit of contraversy around the Power Rangers fan community – speculation and expectation had a majority of people thinking that the 35th Anniversary Super Sentai Gokaiger would be adapted for the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers. The latter series involved a form of spandex heroes who had the ability to morph in to previous Rangers to battle an evil empire intent on taking over the Earth.
The folks at RangerCrew are in attendance at the Licensing Expo and had a chance to sit down and talk with Saban Brands about a number of things. We’ve summarized them below. Check out the RangerCrew link for their write-up.

The good people at RangerCrew attending the ongoing Licensing International Expo have shown off the first official images of yesterdays’ confirmed new season of Power Rangers!
Power Rangers Megaforce premieres early 2013 with 22 episodes including holiday specials.

No Pink Spandex have exclusively revealed the artwork for Time Life’s forthcoming Power Rangers Seasons 1-7 DVD Boxset, which will contain Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Lost Galaxy over a total of 40 discs!
The set has been split into two smaller sets, with the first being the entirety of Mighty Morphin and the second covering Zeo all the way through to Lost Galaxy. The article also states that there will be two discs worth of bonus content in the Mighty Morphin box, and an additional bonus disc in the Zeo – Lost Galaxy box.

Saban Brands, the parent company that is behind Power Rangers, has worked out a deal (pending court approval) to purchase the 4Kids! Saturday Morning TV Block. This would mark Saban’s return to running a block of children’s programming not seen since Saban left that market back with Fox Kids in 2001.
Keep in mind that Saban Brands has already been working hard to acquire the license to Yu-Gi-Oh!, one of 4Kids! TV’s hottest shows.
What does this mean for the future of Power Rangers, if anything? Could this be the beginning of the return of cult-classic-favorite Digimon? Stay tuned for details.

While no images have surfaced yet from the Licensing Expo currently being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, we do have commentary from famed and credible Power Rangers fan Fury Diamond. You can find the original post at the Ranger Crew Blog, but we’ve also summarized it here for you.
It would appear that in 2013 there will be two mainstay Power Rangers events – Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers 20. There was a poster for each.
The Power Rangers Megaforce Poster showcased the Goseiger suits, the Goseiger mech, and the new logo. Sorry Gokaiger fans, doesn’t appear to be any type of “merging” going on for the seasons.
The Power Rangers 20 poster is much more interesting. The poster is a close-up of the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger’s helmet, and in the visor you can see what would be a reflection of numerous other Rangers – most notably, all previous Red Rangers (including the Quantum Ranger) and in the middle of all of them, The Mighty Morphin White Tiger Ranger.
