Posted on February 10, 2013 at 1:06 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Today, the final episode of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, Final Mission – Eternal Bonds aired in Japan. This marks the end of the 36th entry in the Super Sentai franchise and we wish the Go-Busters a farewell for now with our Go-Busters Final Mission Discussion. [UPDATE] Kyoryuger – KyoryuGold Mecha PteraidenOh Revealed and More!

Posted on February 6, 2013 at 12:57 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Thanks to the continued internet detective work of staff member KamenRiderOOO we’ve found our first Image of the Kyoryugers second mecha! The personal mecha of the 6th Kyoryuger, Kyoryu Gold, the PteraidenOh has been revealed!

PteraidenOh is a single massive Pteranodon that transforms into a stand alone robo. It also has a combination gimmick with Kyoryujin where it becomes a massive jetpack power up, forming RaidenKyoryujin. Very similar to the combination that Abarangers’ AbarenOh and KillerOh share.

PteraidenOh is also able to combine with Parasugun and Zakutor, forming Pteraidenoh Western.

Secondly, the main Kyoryuger team will gain a new ally in the form of Bunpachy, the grey pachycephalosaurus. He forms a new arm for Kyoryujin, and alongside Gabutrya and Ankydon forms Kyoryujin Kungfu.

Go-Busters V-Cinema – New Info

Posted on February 4, 2013 at 10:41 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Thanks to a post on his blog, Katsuhiro Suzuki AKA Hiromu/Red Buster, has revealed the title of the Go-Busters V-Cinema; Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Vs. Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters! Dobutsu translates to animal in english, so could this mean the Go-Busters will be facing an evil animal themed version of themselves? Perhaps the Buddyroids decide to form their own sentai?

Our questions will be answered when this V-Cinema has it’s rental release on June 14th and it’s mass retail release on June 21st! The price for the complete edition of the film will be 6300 yen and it will include the main film itself as well as behind the scenes features and videos on the film and series. The standard edition will cost 4725 yen. It’s also rumored that Phantom Thief Pink Buster may be making a reappearance in this film.

Toei have officially announced the cast list and plot for the forthcoming Kamen Rider x Super Sentai x Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z. Previously we reported that Osamu Kaneda would be directing the film, and it is now confirmed that the writer will again be Shoji Yonemura.

The evil organization Shocker has returned with the power of magic, now calling themselves Space Shocker. They claim that they are here to destroy the universe. Kamen Rider Wizard, Gavan, Go-Busters and eventually Kyoryugers join the fight against the evil organization. All your favorite heroes will be back, turning despair into hope. It will be an all new, never seen before hero epic!

The current cast list for the film is as follows:

Shunya Shiraishi as Haruto Soma/Kamen Rider Wizard
Ryo Ryusei as Daigo Kiryu/Kyoryu Red
Junya Ikeda as Gai Ikari/Gokai Silver

Kyoryuger Toy Listings Reveal Kyoryu Gold

Posted on January 31, 2013 at 3:13 pm by ZeoRangerV under Super Sentai

Even though Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger hasn’t begun to air yet, Alpha Hero Shock is reporting that toy listings for the 2013 Super Sentai series include news of a sixth member to the team – Kyoryu Gold!

According to these listings, Kyoryu Gold will transform using the GaburiChanger, a gauntlet, and his weapon will be the ZanderThunder, an electric sword. His robot will be the 6th Zyudenryu, Pteragodon, the golden pteranodon, that will transform into PteRaidenOh.

Meanwhile the main Kyoryuger team will receive a new ally in the form of Bunpachy, a black pachycephalosaurus. They will also have new weapons – the Fang Shot and the Shieldron Slasher. Finally, the toy listings note that a Super Sentai Zyudenchi set is planned.

It has been speculated that Kyoryu Gold’s identity will in fact be Torin (the team’s mentor), in a role similar to that of Dekamaster in Dekaranger. His announcement coming this early adds a lot of credence to the theory.

Though this stage originally came with a figure unrelated to tokusatsu many collectors have taken to displaying their S.H. Figuarts, S.I.C.’s, and SRC Sentai robos on these stages.
