Happy Holidays, TokuNation!

Earlier in the week, we were delighted to our first full look at the 44th Super Sentai: Mashin Sentai Kiramager and since then, some new exciting promotional material’s come up giving us our first look at the core Mecha of the team;

Blue will pilot a jet, Pink pilots a helicopter, Yellow’s a crane excavator, green’s is a sports car, while the Red Ranger drives a truck-like vehicle of some sort.

We were initially led to believe that Red’s mecha will be the sports car, but it seems like that initial scan that was posted was false though the popular theory right now is that the team will have an evolution of the color/power swapping gimmick first employed by 2014’s Ressha Sentai ToQger but we have no way of confirming this at this time.

Some new information has been revealed for the upcoming Super Sentai crossover film Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger VS LupinRanger VS PatRanger along with a few early images of this epic teamup.

The adventure begins when a surviving member of the Gangler Crime Syndicate uses his powers to capture the RyuSoulgers’ Kishiryu. To counter this new foe, the RyuSoulgers must find Rangers familiar with Gangler abilities. Only together can the heroes bring peace and freedom to their friends.

All members of the Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger & Keisatsu Sentai Patranger will be returning for this film- including the series’ head writer, Junko Komora to pen the adventure.

Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger VS LupinRanger VS PatRanger will be released in theaters on February 8, 2020!

The 44th Super Sentai was finally revealed earlier this afternoon, but Bandai and Toei aren’t done delivering the hits just yet!

The most recent scan to appear online gives us our first look at the vehicles that will be used by the Kiramagers; the sports car-like mecha belonging to the Red Ranger himself.

In addition, the other vehicles to have been rumoured in the Kiramager’s arsenal include an excavator, helicopter, jet, and crane truck though we have no way of confirming these rumours at this time. There is more exciting news for Mashin Sentai Kiramager so stay tuned, and we’ll provide you with more updates as they become available.

At long last we have our first full images of the 44th Super Sentai series- Mashin Sentai Kiramager!

Kiramager is a five-Ranger team- with 3 male Rangers (Red, Blue & Yellow) and 2 female Rangers (Green & Pink).

The suits have several vehicle details: a racetrack-stripe along the front, while their henshin device (the KiramaChanger based on early listings) appears to be based on a tire. Each Kiramager helmet also has a set of headlights.

Each Kiramager is armed with a sword- KiramaSword and a gun weapon- KiramaShot.

At long last we have our first look at the 44th Super Sentai team- Mashin Sentai Kiramager!

The Kiramager team features 5 Rangers- Red, Blue, Yellow, Green & Pink. Each suit features a jewel-like detail around the forehead and shoulder-armor for added details.

Toei has released the first images from the next Super Sentai crossover film!

The heroic warriors of Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger will clash with the distinguished thief team Kaitou Sentai LupinRanger alongside the law enforcement team Keisatsu Sentai PatRanger.

Ryusoulger VS LupinRanger VS PatRanger will be released on February 8 2020! Stay tuned to TokuNation for all Super Sentai reveals!

A new list has recently been posted online apparently revealing the first wave of merchandise for the 44th Super Sentai series- Mashin Sentai Kirameiger!

While no images are yet available for any of the merchandise in question, the list does match rumors currently circulating for the new series.

Here is what we can gather about Kirameiger from the toy listings:

*The series will have 5 core Rangers- Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, & Pink.

*The main Mecha for the series will be Vehicles! This first quarter lineup consists of Mashin Roller, Mashin Lifton, Mashin Carry, Mashin Base & Mashin Armed! A secondary Mecha named King Express is also teased.

Based on the available information, this could very well be a “back to basics” sort of Sentai after several years of experimentation.

The full details of Mashin Sentai Kirameiger should be released very soon, so stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this new chapter in Super Sentai history!

UPDATE 8:45 PM EST – Toys are not being reissued as a part of the show coming back to South Korea.

In a pretty odd turn of events, South Korea is set to see it’s third out with Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger in 2020! This news comes straight from Yong San Power Rangers event, which you can see a video of HERE from youtube channel [림호]Tokusatsu. Gaoranger, like many sentai, has a bit of an odd history in South Korea. Super Sentai had been imported to the country since 1989 with Flashman. However in 1994, the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was imported and dubbed in Korean as “Invincible Power Rangers”.

The trend of Power Rangers being imported and dubbed continued until 2003 when Power Rangers Wild Force was brought in as “Power Force Rangers”. After this point Super Sentai was directly imported and dubbed again. Jump to 2010 and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger was at last imported in it’s original form and dubbed over as “Power Rangers Jungle Force”, in lieu of airing Shinkenger, which at the time was seen as too Japanese for the Korean market. Now, it looks as though South Korea will once again be seeing Gaoranger next year in it’s Jungle Force dub, set to stream on the Korean Power Rangers youtube channel!

As times have changed we’ve done our best to change with them, delivering you content in different ways, covering new and exciting topics, and trying to improve our social outreach. The final round of scans for the 43rd Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger has appeared online!

In a desperate bid to curtail the attacks of the Druidon Tribe, the RyuSoulgers must visit the original RyuSoul Temple- the source of their tribes’ legendary abilities. Within the temple lies the most powerful weapon RyuSoul Tribe ever created- the legendary blade RyuSoul Caliber!

Both RyuSoul Red and RyuSoul Gold are chosen as worthy by the spirits of the Temple- and with the power of RyuSoul Caliber awakened they obtain new forms! The Noblesse RyuSoul Red & Gold transformation activates heavy armor and capes for both RyuSoulgers along with RyuSoul Calibers’ signature attack- the Extreme DinoSlash.
