The latest round of magazine scans gives us a quick look at the future adventures of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

*Centerpiece of these new scans is the mighty Zyuoh Gorilla! Yamato befriends another stranded Zyuman by the name of Larry and learns to bring out his inner power through the VISOR UP technique, transforming into a super-strong Red Ranger!

*With new abilities comes a new weapon: Cube Gorilla! The 6th Mecha is armed with a powerful cannon to fight off Deathgaliens and can combine with Cube Tiger and Cube Elephant to form the mighty Zyuoh Wild!

While Yamato trains, the remaining Zyuohgers continue to explore the human world- and hopefully learn more about the mysterious “bird-man” that gave Zyuoh Eagle his powers. What will they find along their journey? Stay tuned to Tokunation as we keep you up to date on all details for the 40th Super Sentai Series!

Once again the worlds of Rider and Sentai have collided!

A special teamup episode featuring Kamen Rider Ghost and Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger has been announced for March 27, 2016! This one hour crossover will air in place of the standard SuperHeroTime programming block for the day.

Sadly, no plot details about the meeting of Ghost & the Zyuohgers have been revealed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting meeting of heroes!

SHURIKEN HENGEN!

Just when you think Bandai’s done releasing Nin Shruikens , they throw one more at us: tying into the release of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Ninnin Girls VS Boys Final Wars in the coming months,Premium Bandai’s announced that the MidoNinger Shuriken will be included with a limited edition version of Blu Ray release, similar to the Kamen Rider Gaim V Cinema packages.

Pre orders for the blu ray set will begin at the end of March 2016 and will run till June 2016 with a suggested retail price of 10,260 yen.

After a few months of grainy scans and guesswork, we have our first good look at DX Wild Zyuoh King! This image was first circulated by @TokusatsuPapa on twitter.

As we can see from this latest image, Wild Zyuoh King incorporates every cube revealed thus far including recent reveals like Mogura & Kuma. The only absence is the yet unseen Cube Rhino. The combination seems to be taking a few pointers from the ToQger playbook with the leg extensions and side mounts, but the arms go in an entirely different direction. We aren’t sure yet if this mech skipped leg day or arms, but it certainly looks interesting!

At last we get to see the changer and main weapon for Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger‘s Sixth Ranger- Zyuoh TheWorld!

*Up first is Zyuoh TheLight, a flashlight-based device with a cube base that rotates to channel different animal spirits.

*Next up comes Zyuoh The GunRod! This is an orange laser rifle that can also transform into a fishing rod.

TheLight appears to represent Zyuoh TheWorlds’ Rhino spirit while The GunRod channels the Crocodile. Fans have speculated that another device (for the Wolf) will be released at a later point but unfortunately nothing is confirmed at this time.

A few new images from the second-quarter merchandise catalog for Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger have finally surfaced online!

Although low-res, we have shots of 4 new Cube Animals for the DX Mecha line:

*Cube Mogura which forms a drill weapon for Zyuoh King

*Cube Kuma creates another new weapon for ZyuohKing

*Cube Crocodile, the first known Mecha belonging to Zyuoh TheWorld!

*Cube Wolf another item in Zyuoh TheWorld’s arsenal. Wolf and Crocodile are said to combine with the sadly still-unrevealed Cube Rhinos to form Tousai Zyuoh, Zyuoh TheWorlds’ personal mecha.

Definitely some interesting new shapes coming down the line for the 40th Super Sentai Series!

Well that didn’t take long! Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger is only one episode in and already we have the official reveal of it’s first Premium Bandai Exclusive! In honor of the special “Instinct Awakening” abilities each of the 5 Zyuohger possess, a Sentai Hero Vinyl SP 5-Pack is being released!

This set features each of the 5 Zyuohgers transformed into their Instinct Awakened state. So that means new hands for Tiger & Lion, new feet for Elephant, a dorsal fin for Shark, & Zyuoh Eagle features his wings as well as the inclusion of his signature Eagriser! A Hero vinyls each of these figures will stand just over 6″ (160 MM) tall. 

Pre-Orders for the Zyuohger Sentai Hero Vinyl SP set will open on February 15th and remain open through March 31st, with an actual release of the set in June. Premium Bandai retail price for this set will be 8100 yen. Be sure to contact your preferred middleman service today to reserve an order!

Go galactic!

Agter some extensive coverage of this years New York Toy Fair, it’s to share a gallery with the community that we just could not wait on any longer.Power Rangers & Super Sentai collectors are no strangers to special edition repaints & limited releases. And often items in this category can become increasingly rare & expensive over time, but one release in particular is one of the most sought after pieces in Power Rangers history. Mostly because of it’s extremely limited release venue. Well today we have a rare opportunity to share with you a full gallery of the Deluxe 14K Gold Plated Galaxy Megazord! And we’ve also given it a side by side comparison with it’s closest Japenese counterpart, DX Black GingaiOh!

The Gold Galaxy Megazord was an expensive and limited release that was originally only sold at the now defunct FAO Schwartz retail chain. When these began surfacing in the early 2000’s many collectors simply didn’t believe they were real. At one time there were thought to be lass than 5 in existence as well, now that number has been proven to be closer to around 15+. Because of it’s limited nature and the authentic 14K gold used to plate it, this set has commanded high prices for years, luckily we were able to snag one for an amazing deal for this gallery.

The first crop of reviews for the next Super Sentai series, Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, are beginning to roll in. First up – check out the video review of the highly anticipated (for a variety of reasons) DX ZyuOhKing, the main Megazord of this new series!

Featuring a few “firsts” for Bandai Japan – this Megazord does not seem to have any electronics and is significantly smaller to previous DX Mecha released. Is this part of Bandai Japan‘s new vision – to once again make toys easier to import to the United States (as seen with Ninninger‘s Power Rangers styled 5 inch figures)? Time will tell!
