The Talkin Toku Podcast announced today that the anticipated second part of their crossover with the folks of the Ranger Command Power Hour Podcast will release on Wednesday, June 4th. Featuring a discussion on the pro’s and con’s of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider in comparison to Power Rangers, if you’re a fan of either side of the debate you will want to check out this one. That, and the side drama story comes to an epic conclusion! Or does it…?

Before the epic crossover with our friends at RangerCommand comes out, we have some movie stuff to talk about!  Join Chris (@rankal), Jordan (@DenO_TokuNation), and Tom (@SoulInkChu) as they discuss the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie reboot that was announced a couple weeks back, and then stick around as they discuss everything about the blockbuster hit Godzilla.

NOTE!  If you haven’t seen the new Godzilla movie, this podcast episode contains INCREDIBLY DETAILED SPOILERS!  If you do not wish to be spoiled, do not listen to this episode.  Or at least turn the Godzilla portion on mute!

Episode details – the boys talk Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot, and two of the three podcasters think the movie will be a blockbuster flop.  Hear their reasons as to why and as the lone podcaster who is hopeful tries his best to defend the franchise and the possible success of the movie.  The boys then talk Godzilla – including the overall story of the movie, what worked and didn’t work, their favorite parts, and what monsters they’d like to see Godzilla take on in a sequel.  There’s also a moment where Tom gets a little too excited about his trip to Japan and … well … you just have to hear it for yourself.

Let’s Watch Wednesdays has arrived at a new station. No this isn’t ToQger, but there are plenty of trains and heroes involved. This week we begin our journey through time with Kamen Rider Den-O! Will the next station be the past or future?

Meet Ryutarto Nogami, just a lighthearted accident prone guy with a streak of bad luck. But one whose destined to be special after he encounters a mysterious pass to the train of time, Den-Liner. This chance encounter will give birth to Kamen Rider Den-O! The Imagin, invaders from the future, have appeared. Beings which force contracts with those they posses. Their goal? To grant one wish to those they posses, but in return the hosts’ time and past are stolen.

But at least one of these guys is here for another reason. He just doesn’t care. Give him what he wants or not, he’s here for a good fight. Momotaros is here to posses Den-O and give him his true power! The first (or second) of Den-O’s many forms is born, Sword Form! Join Momotaros, Ryutaro, Naomi, Hana, Owner, and all the rest on this crazy trip through time with Kamen Rider Den-O!

And starting with this week, we’ll try to drop fun facts in for our viewings based on the episodes given. Den-O Fun Fact #1, the actor who would later go on to portray Sid/Kamen Rider Sigurd, Kazuki Namioka, in Kamen Rider Gaim made his first appearance in a Kamen Rider series in episode 3 of Den-O!

Magical Climax! It’s time to finally say goodbye to Mahou Sentai Magiranger here at TokuNation’s very own Let’s Watch Wednesdays. Just in time to end it all, the ENTIRE Ozu family will reunite!

Blagel, Wolzard Fire, makes his triumphant return! With the family assembled, and N-Ma revived it’s time for the final showdown. But first Urara and Hikaru will finally unite their hearts and lives, their wedding is the peace before the end. The Magirangers are now truly one family. The boys of the Talkin Toku Podcast are back at it with the release of their 9th episode, Attack of the No No Cat (blame Tom for that one). It’s time for another TokuNation.com contest/give-away! As we’ve teased on both our Facebook page as well as our @TokuNation twitter feed, we’re giving away some stuff from the Kamen Rider Gaim Arms Change toy line as well as the Lockseed toy line! This contest starts RIGHT NOW and lasts until Sunday, May 25th 2014.

The contest is simple – take a picture of yourself (or have someone else do it for you) in a henshin/morphing pose (your favorite pose, or your own pose) while holding a piece of fruit! Feel free to add special effects to your picture, just please note that the entire concept of the contest is for you to be holding an actual piece of fruit (ie: don’t digitally edit a fruit in to your picture, it must be included in the picture to begin with). If you cosplay, you can get some bonus points from our judges if you include yourself in costume. Once finished, send your picture in an E-mail to contest@tokunation.com. Include your full name, TokuNation.com forum name (if applicable), and Twitter handle (if applicable). Deadline to enter is Sunday, May 25th 2014. Winners to be announced on or near Sunday, June 1st 2014.

The grand-prize winner will have their choice of one of two prize packages – either the package containing the Arms Change Kamen Rider Baron and Arms Change Kamen Rider Zangetsu Shin, or the package containing the Gashapon Kamen Rider Agito Lockseed and Fresh Orange Lockseed. The runner-up will receive the package the grand-prize winner did not select.

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO ENTER. CONTEST IS OPEN TO RESIDENTS WORLD-WIDE.
