S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Proto-Drive is Officially on Display!

Posted on September 24, 2015 at 9:02 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Well ahead of it’s release at the upcoming Tamashii Nations 2015 event (Oct 30th-Nov 1st) we have the first official reveal of the at show kamen rider exclusive. S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Proto-Drive!

Kamen Rider Proto-Drive is a release long awaited by fans of Kamen Rider Drive and it looks like the wait has been well worth it. Proto-Drive has a gorgeous matte black finish and comes in a very stylish box to set him apart from the other Drive related releases. Making this exclusive feel just a bit snazier. It also looks like Proto-Drive will have the exact same basic accessories as Drive Type Speed as well.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Proto-Drive will be available exclusively at Tamashii Nations 2015 for 4500 yen!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Proto-Drive & Dark Flame Effect Tamashii Nations 2015 Exclusives

Posted on September 23, 2015 at 11:27 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Circulated earlier today as rumors was a proposed list of event exclusives for the upcoming Tamashii Nations 2015 held October 30th through November 1st. Now thanks to a teaser image posted to the official event site we can now confirm the release of 2 exclusives for this event; S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Proto-Drive and the Burning Flame Effect Part!

Kamen Rider Proto-Drive is a slight retool and repaint of Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed and as such should be just as excellent a figure as that release. Accessories are currently unconfirmed at this time but it’s safe to assume Proto-Drive will include the same basic loadout as Type Speed. Proto-Drive will retail for 4500 yen at the event.

The other release for this event of interest to S.H. Figuarts collectors is the Burning Flame Dark Ver. Tamashii Effect! Perhaps the perfect companion to this years exclusive Proto-Drive (as well as the Shadow Trooper for non-toku fans) the Dark Flame will be made available at the event for 2500 yen.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser Official Images

Posted on August 23, 2015 at 8:31 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

After Thursday nights’ reveal, Bandai has just put up official images and release info for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser!

As the initial scans indicated Kamen Rider Chaser is a gorgeous figure with a beautiful metallic finish. For accessories Chaser includes 2 sets of additional hands as well as his Shingou Axe and the green & red light indicators for it. Sadly he does not however include a Break Gunner. Meaning you’ll need to borrow one from a Mashin Chaser figure.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser will be release as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in January for 5940 yen!

S.H. Figuarts Ride Chaser & Midnight Shadow Effect Parts Gallery

Posted on June 22, 2015 at 10:38 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

The grim reaper, Mashin Chaser, is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Kamen Rider Drive. But even an evil mechanized life form needs a sweet ride. So today we’re taking a look at his vehicle of choice, the S.H. Figuarts Ride Chaser!

The Ride Chaser was the machine Chase used in his original Proto-Drive Identity and what he continues to use to this day even as the heroic Kamen Rider Chaser. A pretty slick and evil looking bike the Ride Chaser is a bit larger than many figuarts bikes and a bit more of a laid back ride in the same vein as the much older Machine Decader. Lite on the accessories but magnificent looking the Ride Chaser will be right at home with the rest of your Drive collection.

Check out over 30 images of the Ride Chaser & Midnight Shadow Effect Parts by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. I’ll be back soon with galleries of Kamen Rider Mach & the Ride Macher!

S.H. Figuarts Mashin Chaser & Midnight Shadow Bonus Gallery

Posted on June 11, 2015 at 1:48 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Brake, Up.

And you thought Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed Gallery was cool? Now it’s time for something a little more wicked! The grim reaper himself, the Roidmude hitman, the fallen hero, S.H. Figuarts Mashin Chaser! And as a 2-for-1 this gallery also includes the Midnight Shadow Tire 1st Run Bonus!

S.H. Figuarts Mashin Chaser, once the heroic rider Proto-Drive, is presented here in absolutely glorious chaotic detail. Chaser includes 3 sets of additional heads as well as his trademark Brake Gunner, which can accept Shift Cars! Sadly Chaser isn’t compatible with Drive’s Tires as he is now. But I’ve worked out a temporary fix for that with some spare stage parts, which you can view in this gallery!

The Midnight Shadow 1st Run Bonuses included give you the Tire, Mr Belt Readout, and flipped shift car needed to replicate Drive’s Midnight Shadow combo as well!

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but the full 80 images as well as a comprehensive review are posted in the gallery thread attached. Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to see it in it’s entirety! We’ll back next week with the S.H. FIguarts Rider Chaser & Effect Part Bonus gallery!

Kamen Rider Chaser Revealed, Image & On-Set Video!

Posted on March 17, 2015 at 11:37 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

After a bit of speculation the last few months, we’ve finally gotten our first look at Kamen Rider Chaser! Not only do we have our first blurry look at this new rider, but in a rare turn of events we even have an onset video to enjoy!

The next rider to join Kamen Rider Drive looks to be very similar in design to the basic Mach suit but with a new asymmetrical helmet, a few purple accents, a Break Gunner style weapon, and a Tire Koukan gimmick on his back. Which should come as no surprise given the fact that the former Proto-Drive and Mashin Chaser will become Kamen Rider Chaser!

What do you think of this new rider’s design? Let us know after the jump!

Tire Koukan TK-06 Mashin Chaser Gallery & Video Review

Posted on January 19, 2015 at 7:30 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Break, Up!

This dark anti-hero and former Kamen Rider from Kamen Rider Drive finally joins the Tire Koukan toy line! Today we’re looking at TK-06 Mashin Chaser!

So far the only villain in the Tire Koukan line, Mashin Chaser takes the gimmick and twists it just a little bit. As in the show Chaser’s Tire Koukan attachment point is on his back, meaning jsut about any tire you want to attach to him won’t interfere with how this figure functions. Mashin Chaser comes with his trusty Break Gunner but also includes his very own version of the gimmick in the form of the E-Circular multi-weapon! It even includes attachments to form his 3 signature Viral Core upgrades: Tail Whipper, Wing Sniper, & Fang Spidey!

If those features aren’t enough to convince then perhaps a video review by my friend and frequent contributor Baltmatrix will! As always we’ve tried to team-up and tackle this figure on both review fronts.

Be sure to click the link at the bottom of this post to be taken to a gallery featuring over 60 images of TK-06 Mashin Chaser including every Tire Koukan combo possible with it!

Posted on November 28, 2014 at 2:42 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

After some extensive magazine scans arrived earlier this week showcasing the Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim: Movie War Full Throttle film,  it was only a matter of time before we saw images of toys from it. Look no futher as we have 3 stellar reveals today!

Tire Koukan TKPB-01 Kamen Rider Proto-Drive will be the first in a series of Premium Bandai releases for Tire Koukan. Retailing for 3500 yen orders will go live in December and remain open through February. Although possible other accessories are not known at this time, judging on the image provided the Proto-Type Speed tire should be removable. Accommodating what looks like a version of the Dimension Cab Tire which is included.

Tire Koukan TKSP-01 Kamen Drive Type Fruits will be the first SP releases for the Tire Koukan line. Drive will be released in December for 3200 yen and includes a Musou Saber & Daidaimaru. Drive basic body has also been repainted to match the Gaim inspired blue& Orange he sports in ht film.

Arms Change ACSP-01 Kamen Rider Gaim Drive Arms will also be released in December for 3200 yen. Appropriately complementing Drive Type Fruits, Gaim includes the Handle Sword & Door Gun! As these images show this hilarious giant rider head arms looks to be just as impressive as the previous AC Legend riders set.

And the recently revealed Kamen Rider Drive Secret Mission: Hunter & Monster will be included with the January issue of Televi-Kun. This special focuses on a feud between the Massive Monster & Justice Hunter Shift cars while the phantom thief Ultimate Lupin is involved in a high profile kidnapping case! And if you are unable to obtain the Episode 0 DVD have no fear, the Type Televi-Kun Special includes it as well!
