For those fans who live on the east coast and cannot make it to Power Morphicon this year due to cost, timing, etc., great news! The east coast’s largest gathering of Power Rangers continues on thanks to the folks of RangerStop.com! To all you Power Rangers fans up north in Canada, specifically Toronto – great news!  The folks of Unplugged Expo have dropped by to let us know that they have officially announced that Kevin Duhaney, better known as Ethan James the Dino Thunder Blue Ranger will be attending as a special guest at this year’s show!  He is joining their Power Rangers line-up with Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger, Zeo Green Ranger, and Turbo Green Ranger).

The Unplugged Expo takes place on September 27th and 28th at the Chestnut Conference Centre in downtown Toronto. Check out Kevin Duhaney‘s announcement video below!

But they’re not done yet! They have one more Power Rangers guest to announce in the near future! The boys are back from their crossover adventure with the release of Episode 12 – Lord Zedd Interview and Talkin Dino Charge! Talk some toku with your hosts Chris/Kickback, Jordan/Den-O, and Tom/Sentai Tamashii! In this week’s episode, Chris conducts the first ever Talkin Toku Interview with none other than Robert Axelrod, the voice of Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Special thanks to Denver Comic Con for helping set up and coordinate a time and place for the interview. Chris also shares his thoughts on Denver Comic Con.

To round off the episode the guys keep the topic on Power Rangers, and more specifically discuss a couple of Power Rangers Monday articles – namely what do we want to see adapted in to Power Rangers Dino Charge from Kyoryuger and what else would we have liked to see adapted from Super Sentai in general in to Power Rangers? It’s a fun conversation as our hopes for a great season with Power Rangers Dino Charge especially with Judd Lynn at the helm show up in the conversation. UPDATED: From Raz himself we now have images of the listed names for these items as well as prices from the TRU computer system!

A major reveal is on the horizon. Courtesy of @razzle1337 on twitter, we have our first news of new upcoming Power Rangers Legacy items! According to Raz:

  • Legacy Tigerzord – $79.99
  • Legacy Saba – $99.99
  • Legacy 5″ Movie Figures – $16.99 Each

As has become tradition these items likely come from the Toys ‘R’ Us computer system. Though for now we have no images of the figures themselves. If a Legacy Tigerzord is indeed happening then would a Legacy Thunder Megazord be far behind?

And as for Legacy 5″ Movie figures, a listing such as this is years too early to reference the upcoming joint film project between Saban Brands & Lion’s Gate. What these most likely are, are 5″ figures based on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theatrical movie! For the first time in 20 years we’ll finally have new product based on the original film!

So will we see these next month at SDCC? Possibly. Or will we see them at later date in the TRU computer system? This is just as likely. Be sure to stay with us as we update you in this developing story!

Attention all Power Rangers fans in or near Denver, Colorado! This weekend is the third annual Denver Comic Con and it’s the largest convention yet! For those of you who are fans of brightly colored spandex wearing heroes (and a main villain), this is a great opportunity to meet some of your childhood heroes. In attendance this year is David Yost who played Billy the Mighty Morphin Blue Power Ranger, Walter Jones who played Zack the Mighty Morphin Black Power Ranger, Jason David Frank who played Tommy the Mighty Morphin Green and White Power Rangers, the Power Rangers Zeo Red Ranger, the Power Rangers Turbo Red Ranger, the Power Rangers Dino Thunder Black Ranger, and is returning as the Mighty Morphin Green Power Ranger in the final episode of this year’s Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Last and certainly not least is Robert Axelrod, the voice of the evil Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (and Armadillomon from Digimon Season 2)!.

Your scheduling block is pretty simple. On Friday, June 13th from 11:00am to 11:50am, join Walter Jones, David Yost, and Robert Axelrod in the Power Rangers: Morphin Time! panel. On Saturday, June 14th from 11:00am to 11:50am, join Jason David Frank for the Power Rangers: Jason David Frank panel. To all of our friends and fans up north – during the weekend of September 27th, 28th in Toronto you will have a chance to meet veteran Power Ranger and anime voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch. He will be appearing at Unplugged Expo, which will be held that weekend of September at the Chestnut Conference Centre in downtown Toronto.

Just in case you’re not familiar with Johnny Yong Bosch – he played “Adam Park” the second Black Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as the Green Ranger for both Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo. As for his anime credentials? He’s best known for his roles on Trigun, Bleach, Naruto, as well as video game voice over work on Saints Row IV, Persona 4, Soulcalibur V, Transformers: War For Cybertron, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

Following hot on the heels of Lord Zedd’s reveal this morning, we now have official images of the ENTIRE lineup of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers in the 5″ Legacy line! Coming soon to a Toys ‘R’ Us near you are all 7 of the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers! Red, Green, White, Black, Pink, Blue & Yellow!

Of note is that a standard Red Ranger is not solicited, only an Armored Red Ranger with the Dragon Shield. These figures aren’t yet listed for sale on the TRU.CA website like Zedd is but you can expect them to be released sometime this summer as well.
