S.H. Figuarts Auto Vaijin Transformation Video

Posted on February 21, 2014 at 11:08 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Battle Mode!

At long last Bandai is set to release the highly anticipated S.H. Figuarts Auto Vaijin from Kamen Rider Faiz!

As a tease of it’s upcoming release they’ve streamed a FULL transformation video of the figure. The best part however is that the video confirms two things. 1, the included Faiz in the Faiz/Vaijin 2-pack will indeed have accurate silver tipped fingers. 2, this Auto Vaijin is not only 100% transformable but it requires a mere single extra part to facilitate this transformation, and that’s only to hold the rear wheel assembly in place! Everything else is pure engineered awesomeness.

Kamen Rider Gaim DX Lock Seed & Faceplate Set 2: Kurokage & Knuckle!

Posted on February 21, 2014 at 7:51 am by Paladin under Kamen Rider

Bandai has announced a second special Kamen Rider Gaim set, featuring two DX Lock Seeds and corresponding faceplates for the Sengoku Driver.

This new set contains DX Matsubokkuri (“Pinecone”) and Kurimi (“Walnut”), the perfect set for fans of Armored Rider Kurokage and Armored Rider Knuckle! Even though Knuckle actually has NO faceplate since he uses the mass-production driver but that’s another story altogether.

In addition, Bandai has also revealed a special bonus for people who buy this set or the previously announced DX Durian/Acorn set: the “SID” Lock Seed! This golden decorative device was seen in the Lock Dealers’ possession relatively early in the series but its actual powers are still unknown.

The DX Pinecone and Walnut set will be released on June 30 and has a relatively affordable price tag of 4000 Yen

As well as a better look at the Bravo figure, the page also features images of how the Durian arms look on the previously released Gaim, Gridon and Shin Zangetsu figures. There is also a short promotional video for the figure, which can be viewed below.

Best of all, the page features a teaser look at the next two Premium Bandai exclusive figures to be released in the line – a 2-pack of Energy Riders Sigurd and Marika!

Preorders for Bravo himself will open on Monday on the Bandai Premium store, costing 4000 yen and due for release in May.

ToQger DX ToQ Changer Hacks Reveal New Resshas!

Posted on February 14, 2014 at 11:39 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Youtube user Otona7592 got his hands on the recently released DX ToQ Changer from Ressha Sentai ToQger. And as with previous sentai and rider years, it’s time for another hack of the years gimmick! Revealed by hacking the DX ToQ Changer Otona has uncovered 4 new Ressha sounds, confirming at least 4 more unseen and unheard of Ressha vehicles!

Dozer Ressha
Mixer Ressha
Hyper Ressha
Safari Ressha

Based on some of the other previously revealed Resshas the combinations possible with these could be very interesting indeed. Something akin to Boukengers Ultimate Daibouken perhaps? Either way, this confirmation of 4 new machines brings the grand total (including ToQ Oh’s components) up to 17 Resshas!

Arms Change Kamen/Armored Rider Gridon Donguri Arms & Dandeliner Gallery

Posted on February 8, 2014 at 2:24 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

The 5th Armored Rider of Kamen Rider Gaim joins the fray in the ever popular Arms Change toyline!

Like his fellow riders released before him Kamen Rider Gridon comes packed with his trademark Donguri (Acorn) Arms, his arms weapon the Donkachi, as well as a personal Lock Vehicle, the Dandeliner! Though the Dandeliner has only been seen to be used up to this point by the Kurokage troopers, this release would imply that Gridon will use it soon enough. Though if you try to troop build these vehicles for your Kurokage army, you’ll have a rather large excess of Gridons.

Gridon succeeds in being yet another fun an intuitive addition to an ever growing line, and his vehicle takes a crack at some of the shortcomings of the previously released Lock Vehicle bikes. On the whole this one is another clear winner for Bandai of Japan. As seems to be the case with almost any Arms Change figure, this one is also a very welcome addition to the line! To see a full 50+ image gallery of this set click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.
