S.H. Figuarts Deka Red Gallery 2.0

Posted on October 26, 2016 at 11:29 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Emergency, Dekaranger!

With Tamashii Nations 2016 this upcoming weekend we hope to see many reveals, both expected and unexpected. Those reveals used to include Super Sentai figuarts but sadly that line has been shelved, for now. But it gives us pause to go back and on occasion reexamine some of our favorite releases as well. So today we’re featuring a brand new Gallery 2.0 Re-do with S.H. Figuarts Deka Red!

Dekaranger has always been one of my personal favorite Sentai. So seeing the characters done in figuarts styling was like a dream come true. Sadly not a fully realized dream, but the releases we did get are still fantastic and that’s what encouraged me to finally do this reshoot of Deka Red. The Dekaranger body type has an impressive range that still holds up to new figures. But the accessory count here is perhaps the best thing about this figure. SP License, both Magnums, multiple hands, even the ludicrous power of the Akibrangers the Dekawoppa!? These were the glory days.

We’ve attached a selection to this post but you can enjoy the complete 80 image Gallery 2.0 of S.H. Figuarts Deka Red after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 2 Teased for Tamashii Nations 2016

Posted on October 26, 2016 at 1:59 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

The biggest Tamashii event of the year, Tamashii Nations 2016 is happening this weekend from 10/28-10/30. As is always the case we can expect quite a number of new reveals, and perhaps a good number of those reveals to never see the light of day again.

However, according to the event site, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid will be fully revealed during what’s being dubbed the “Tamashii Hour” by the event staff. A very small and brief teaser can be found for this figuart on the site itself.

This exciting development is likely not the only one to come out of this weekend. As more information and photos from the event begin to circulate we’ll keep you up to date every step of the way!

S.H. Figuarts V-Machine & Hardboilder Officially Announced

Posted on October 19, 2016 at 1:57 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Thanks to an updated front page on the Tamashii.JP site, we have our first look at a pair of upcoming Rider Machines, S.H. Figuarts V-Machine & Hardboilder!

V-Machine is a long overdue release for Kamen Rider Super-1 who’s been without his bike for several years. The Hardboilder is likely a new mold proportioned to the recently released Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W figuart.

While neither of the item pages are active yet for these releases, this is our first official confirmation that they are on the way. We’ll update you with full official images and information once they’re available, so stay tuned!

Makai Kado Midnight Sun Knight Dan Official Images & Info

Posted on October 12, 2016 at 9:02 pm by Den-O under Garo

Thanks to a night of updates on Tamashii.JP we have our first look at a brand new release from Garo!

Coming out in April 2017 is Makai Kado Dan, the Midnight Sun Knight! Dan is a release that Garo collectors have demanded for years. The previous Dan figure was release in Bandai’s long defunct Equpi & Prop line and was quite prone to breakage, as many releases in that line were. Now with a proper Makai Kado release finally happening, it looks like people can trade in their old old Dans.

Makai Kado Dan will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive for 8640 yen in April.
