With Kamen Rider Ex-Aid beginning to wind down, the rumor mill’s begun churning for 2018’s installment of Kamen Rider, and thanks to @trademark_bot via Twitter, we now know that Toei’s filed a trademark for a show called Kamen Rider Build!

In the past, Trademark bot was responsible for announcing shows like Zyuohger, Ex-Aid, and Orb so it stands to reason that there’s some legitimacy to this name. And as the name suggest, we might be heading into some sort of construction or heavy machinery theme for next year’s show. Toei has yet to make an official statement on this, so until we hear from them take this posting with an ingestion of salt and stay tuned to Tokunation! We’ll provide more up to date info as it’s made available.

A new form for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid has been revealed thanks to a press conference for the upcoming summer movie Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: TRUE ENDING!

This is Ex-Aid VRX Creator Gamer! By using the power of Virtual Reality (which is apparently integral to the films’ plot), Ex-Aid can create all-new weapons and attacks. Gaming fans may recognize the Playstation VR used to create this new form, appearing thanks to a special agreement with SONY.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: TRUE ENDING will be released on August 5, 2017! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Kamen Rider news!

This week’s update on Bandai’s candy toy blog has revealed that Kamen Rider Poppy will be joining the popular SODO Kamen Rider Ex-Aid line! The blog post features multiple images of the figure, comparing it with SODO Ex-Aid showing off its articulation and flexible skirt as well as optional red eye stickers to recreate when Poppy was under Bugster control. A unique stand will also be included to accommodate the figure’s different height/build.

Though originally planned for Stage 8, Kamen Rider Poppy will be released as part of the Stage 9 wave in mid-July!

The Tamashii Nations Akiba Showroom has updated it’s displays once again with a slew of new releases and at least one yet to be confirmed:

  • S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo, slated for October release for 5500 yen.
  • S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon New Omega, will also be out in October and is priced at 5500 yen. Both Amazons will be retail releases.
  • S.H. Figuarts Retsu Ichijouji, the original Space Sheriff, Gavan has been lurking around as a prototype since last year but has now been confirmed for a Tamashii Web Exclusive release in November for 6264 yen!
  • S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Maximum Mighty Level 99. Though this figure has yet to be confirmed with a release date or price, it’s inclusion at the showroom is a very good indicator of it’s future.

The battle to stop Kamen Rider Cronus is in full force and the only power to stop him is through the Hyper Muteki Gashat! Working in conjunction with the Maximum Mighty X Gashat, the Hyper Muteki Gashat allows Kamen Rider Ex-Aid to transform in to his ultimate form!

The fan-favorite series Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is ramping in to full gear as it slowly begins the approach to the end of the series. With that come some of the final releases for the figures including the possible final form for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid – Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer. Fans who have been collecting the Level Up Rider series of figures (henceforth known as LVUR) may have been wondering where the Level 99 figure was. We got our answer – it’s included in the set with Muteki Gamer!

After recently reappearing at the Tamashii Nations World Tour stop in Osaka it felt like it was only a matter of time until the previously seen S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider 1 figure was given a confirmed release date. And thanks to another appearance at the Tamashii Showroom, it seems that time is now!

This brand new, highly accurate version of Shin Kamen Rider 1 is due for release in December 2017, with a price tag of 6480 yen. No accessories have been confirmed yet, but at the very least fans can expect the usual array of hands and perhaps one or two more surprises.

BUGGLE UP!

Premium Bandai has announced a special new release of the DX Gashacon BugVisor II from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

Dubbed the BugVisor II Neo Kuroto Dan Version, this rerelease features an updated screen with the newly-ressurected Kamen Rider Genm desperately trying to break out. Other changes to the BugVisor have not been confirmed at time of writing.

The BugVisor II Neo Kuroto Dan Version will be open for preorder beginning June 9, 2017!

The Tokyo Toy Show 2017 is underway and the first set of images of the Bandai Japan booth are coming in! Check out the first in-hand images of the recently announced Super Sentai Artisan DX DaiRenOh. As you may or may not recall, the Super Sentai Artisan DX DaiRenOh is going to be a modernized release of the original DX DaiRenOh with added diecast, some new molding, and new paint.
