Some new episode summaries for Power Rangers Dino Charge have been posted online! This gives us some minor insight into the direction of Dino Charge’s overall story:


5. Breaking Black Air Date: March 7th
When a Maori fortune teller asks Chase for help guarding her shop from a potential thief, Chase is happy to help, but falls under the spell of Sledge’s latest monster, Spellbinder. The rest of the Rangers must quickly figure out how to help break Spellbinder’s hold on Chase before their friend is lost to them forever.

6. The Tooth Hurts Air Date: March 14th
When faced with the fast-firing Cavity monster, Riley thinks Chase doesn’t take the threat seriously, but soon learns that Chase simply has a different approach.

7. Let Sleeping Zords Lie Air Date March 21st
When Sledge’s monster stings the Ankylo Zord, Shelby must use her advanced dino knowledge to tame the wild beast.

The premiere of Power Rangers Dino Charge has come and gone and we’ve been introduced to some of the villains already. The one villain we have yet to really see in action (other than some brief early footage) is the new foot soldier of this season – the Vivix!

Releasing in a wave 1 refresher case assortment, Vivix was released (along with Fury, coming in a future gallery) for fans to begin their attempt at troop-building as we see every season. So how does this figure stand up to the other 5″ figures? You may be surprised at the details on this guy and how much love and care went in to it … aside from the lack of any accessories.

A new teaser for the upcoming Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden V-Cinema project has been uploaded to Toei’s official YouTube channel.

Set roughly near the 20th episode of Kamen Rider Gaim, this V-Cinema contains two unique new stories:

*Takatora investigates new attacks on Yggdrasil while preparing for Project Ark.
*Kaito encounters a strange new visitor to Zawame City.

Gaim Gaiden will be released on Blu-Ray & DVD on April 22, 2015!

In a surprise reveal, Max Factory makers of the Figma line announced that they’ve acquired the Pacific Rim license.

At the 2015 Wonder Fest event, they showed off a prototype of their 1/350th scale Gypsy Danger model kit with teasers for the other Jaegers in the works. 


At the moment, not much else about this release is known but we’ll bring you more up to date information as it becomes avalaible.

Additional toy catalog scans for Kamen Rider Drive’s third-quarter releases have come online! These appear to confirm Drive’s ultimate form, Type Tridoron!

Using a new Shift Car- the Shift Tridoron– Drive obtains a special ability called Tire Kakimazeru (meaning mix-up) that allows him to combine multiple Shift Cars for new attacks!

In addition, Drive will be obtaining two new vehicles: Ride Booster Red and Ride Booster Blue, a pair of go-karts that combine with the Tridoron for extra power.

Last but not least we also have confirmation of the next Tire Koukan action figure releases:

*TK-09 will be Type Formula, Drive’s next upgrade.
*TK-10 will be Kamen Rider Chaser!
*TK-11 will be Type Tridoron.

More new catalog images have been posted online! We now have a close look at StarNinger’s personal mecha, Bison King!

Bison King consists of two major components: the RodeoMaru and the Bison Buggy. Both components can also combine with Shurikenjin to form King Shurikenjin!

In addition we have a new image of the next Ninninger Auxiliary Mecha: SurferMaru! A purple submarine that can transform into a surfboard; SurferMaru can combine with Shurikenjin to form Shurikenjin Surfer or with Bison King to create Bison King Surfer!

With the Gaim Gaiden DVD coming out in April, a new set emerges! This new two-pack of Arms Change Figures consists of two key Riders from Kamen Rider Gaim, Zangetsu and Baron in their Gaiden-exclusive Arms, Watermelon Arms and Ringo Arms respectively!

Accessed through the Proto-10 Watermelon Lockseed, Watermelon Arms is a remold of Zangetsu’s original Melon Arms, with a modified gatling gun-shield weapon. Baron’s Ringo Arms is accessed through the LS-Taboo Forbidden Ringo Lockseed, utilizing a repaint of Kamen Rider Mars’s Golden Arms, right down to using the same weapons.

Preorders for this set open March 2nd and end on May 18th, with the current estimated price of 7000 Yen. Be sure to tell your usual middleman!

For over a year, the hosts of Talkin Toku have relentlessly shared their negative opinions towards Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers Super Megaforce. To the point that some in the fan community choose not to listen to us because we refuse to accept anything less than GOOD writing, GOOD acting, and GOOD story-telling. We are labeled as “haters”, and “just more people bashing Power Rangers”. To that we say THANK YOU – we refuse to accept something just because the name is slapped on it, and for the last four years that is exactly what we’ve had – poor story-telling, poor acting (from most, not all), poor direction, poor editing, and poor decisions regarding the television program that we all grew up with as kids.

On Saturday, February 7th, kids across the world will be introduced to Power Rangers Dino Charge, the next iteration of the fabled Power Rangers franchise. Returning to helm the show is fan-favorite executive producer Chip Lynn, who many praised before the first episode was even released. Will his presence be felt? Or is Power Rangers now forever destined to be a mere “Google translate” show of Super Sentai?

Join Kickback/Chris, Den-O/Jordan, Sentai Tamashii/Tom, and two very special guests – trekkieb47/Eric and baltmatrix/Matt – as we spend over an hour and a half discussing the good, the bad, and the ugly with Power Rangers Dino Charge. Did it live up to the hype? What are our individual thoughts on the episode and the direction of the franchise with this new series? And most importantly (and most shocking) – what did Den-O/Jordan, best known for his utter disdain for all things Power Rangers, feel about the premiere?

Before we begin the discussion of Power Rangers Dino Charge the group takes a moment to discuss the elephant in the room and the tragic incident regarding Rick Medina, who played the role of Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Power Ranger as well as Dekker in Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai. The question we ask – does Saban Brands react in any way, and if so, how?

NOTE! This episode was recorded before Rick Medina was released from jail with no charges pressed (at the moment, investigation is on-going).

And maybe most importantly, the Twitter trend from the night of the recording and the focus of our episode picture is revealed (to an extent). See the beginning of how five nerds started a brief trend on Twitter within the Tokusatsu community and how it all came to be. Unfortunately, we weren’t recording when everything really took off – but we saved the pictures and they are now available for you to view.

More leaked images for the second-quarter toy catalog have come online. We now have our first glimpse of the 39th Super Sentai’s sixth member- StarNinger!

StarNinger is apparently a cowboy-themed gold ninja, armed with a strange new henshin device known as Ninja Star Burger– a device shaped like a hamburger but using a golden Shuriken in place of cheese.

StarNinger’s main weapon is the Star Swordgun, a weapon with multiple configurations.

Last but certainly not least, the scans offer a brief glimpse at StarNingers’ Mecha, Bison King! According to recent rumors, this Mecha is created by fusing the RodeoMaru with the King Bison Buggy and both pieces can combine with ShurikenJin to form King ShuriKenJin!
