Bluefin reveals their 2nd exclusive offering for SDCC this year via facebook. As hinted at by company representatives from NYCC last year, it’s the S.H.Figuarts Armored Black Ranger from the MMPR exclusive episode an “Oyster Stew”.

The footage used for this episode is part of the “Zyu2” run of episodes. Saban had licensed Toei to film new material with new monsters to be used exclusively in Power Rangers episodes because Saban had already cycled through the available material. This powered up form appears once and only in Power Rangers despite being from Japanese footage. Currently there’s no word on pricing.

The collector line for this juggernaut adult themed toku continues with yet another Makai Knight being released in the line! Up next is Makai Kado Phantom Knight Crow! Sent to assist Raiga in his battles against the Horrors, Crow is a Makai Knight featured in Garo’s fourth series, Makai No Hana. 

Phantom Knight Crow looks to be every bit as faithful to his on screen counterpart as past releases in the line. Not only will he include his optional wings, but also an alternate head to replicate the visor like transformation of his helemt.  And this should also be no surprise, but Crow will be a Tamashii Web Exclusive set for release in December 2014 for 7500 yen.

The first major releases for SH Figuarts this November are confirmed!

The last Kamen Rider Ryuki hero, Kamen Rider Femme (or “Siren” if you prefer) is FINALLY set for release! In addition, Kamen Rider Den-O’s special “Wing Form” will also make the jump to to Figuarts at last!

Both Femme and Wing Form are apparently Tamashii Web Exclusive items, priced at 4860 Yen each. Definitely good news for Figuart Fans! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details.

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Garo anime project “Seal of Flames” has come online! This gives us our first look at the newest incarnation of the Golden Knight!

“Seal of Flames” does not yet have a confirmed release date (the trailer only mentions starting 2014) so stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting animated adventure!

UPDATED: From Raz himself we now have images of the listed names for these items as well as prices from the TRU computer system!

A major reveal is on the horizon. Courtesy of @razzle1337 on twitter, we have our first news of new upcoming Power Rangers Legacy items! According to Raz:

  • Legacy Tigerzord – $79.99
  • Legacy Saba – $99.99
  • Legacy 5″ Movie Figures – $16.99 Each

As has become tradition these items likely come from the Toys ‘R’ Us computer system. Though for now we have no images of the figures themselves. If a Legacy Tigerzord is indeed happening then would a Legacy Thunder Megazord be far behind?

And as for Legacy 5″ Movie figures, a listing such as this is years too early to reference the upcoming joint film project between Saban Brands & Lion’s Gate. What these most likely are, are 5″ figures based on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theatrical movie! For the first time in 20 years we’ll finally have new product based on the original film!

So will we see these next month at SDCC? Possibly. Or will we see them at later date in the TRU computer system? This is just as likely. Be sure to stay with us as we update you in this developing story!

Another new promo for the upcoming “Kamen Rider Battride War II” video game is now online! In addition to some impressive gameplay footage, this latest preview features the latest musical entry from the Kamen Rider Girls- “Break The Shell!”

Ahead of their usual announcements for the coming months, Bandai Tamashii Nations have revealed an S.H. Figuarts New Cyclone motorcycle as a mass release for October! Better still is the further reveal that it will be released in two forms – both as a separate release and in a 2-pack with the previously released Kamen Rider 1 (New Version). The single pack release also features alternate colouring from the 2-pack version, offering buyers two alternatives for their classic Kamen Riders!

The 2-pack will retail for 7560 yen, while the bike alone will be 4563 yen. Joining them that month will also be a reissue of Kamen Rider 2 (New Version), retailing for 3024 yen!

So if you’ve been looking to grab these two figures or ready to add a new bike to your S.H. Figuarts collection, don’t miss out!

The rumor mill for a few months now was that Kamen Rider Gaim would be a shorter season than some of the seasons prior (everything will be shorter than Kamen Rider Wizard). The cast had mentioned they were halfway through production when the show was airing in the late teens, leading many to speculate that the show would end somewhere in the 30’s. However, Gen Urobuchi, a forever fan-favorite for his work on Kamen Rider Gaim, announced via Twitter that he’s still writing episodes! He also replied to the actor who plays the fan-favorite Kamen Rider Bravo. Our friends at the Tokusatsu Network took the time to translate the tweets and they are as follows:

I can say now that the year I spent working on a content giant like Kamen Rider is something I’ll treasure. I am really glad I accepted this offer. Now I want to keep this feeling of happiness and run through the end.

…and…

No, there are a few episodes left. I am right at the climax. Cannot relax just yet.

The Tokusatsu Network states that episode production/filming is about 8 episodes ahead of when an episode airs. So with Episode 34 airing this weekend, Episode 41 and/or 42 should be filming as we speak. That would give Kamen Rider Gaim a rough estimate of the high 40’s in terms of episodes. Friend of the site Fury Diamond has been attending the Licensing Expo 2014 and sharing a ton of pictures and information with us regarding Power Rangers Dino Charge. He’s shared details of the promotional marketing video for Power Rangers Dino Charge, and you can find a detailed run-down of the video by clicking here. Some fans may be curious why the video isn’t being posted – it’s mostly because the Licensing Expo isn’t meant to be a press gathering. True, a lot of information about future products are revealed at the Licensing Expo, but certain details are not necessarily meant to be released to the mass public.

Either way – included in the video is a brief screen capture of some of the Power Rangers Dino Charge figures for 2015. We see the Dino Charge Megazord (yes, the triceratops looks purple and is supposed to be pink but at this time it’s hard to say if that’s painted purple or if it’s just the power of optical illusion), the Dino Charge Morpher, a Dino Charge battery accessory (NOTE: notice that it’s a Ranger instead of a dinosaur?), and what appears to be the Red Dino Charge Ranger in 5″ figure size and form.
