Following the tragic passing of former Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, yesterday Hasbro appointed Chris Cocks as the new CEO of the Rhode Island-based company. Chris Cocks is notably the former president of Wizards of the Coast (Magic the Gathering) and the Digital Gaming Division, both of which have grown substantially over the years.

Netflix has published a teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of their Ultraman anime project!
This new seasons features Ultraman son Shinjiro Hayata uniting with five other Ultras: SEVEN, ZOFFY, ACE, JACK & TARO. Together they must defeat a threat of cosmic proportions!
Netflix Ultraman Season 2 will consist of six episodes. The season is expected to begin streaming on April 14 2022!
Toei has confirmed some more returning cast members for the upcoming Kamen Rider OOO tenth anniversary project!
All four of the iconic Greeed will return in their human forms-
*Yusuke Yamada, playing Uva
*Taito Hashimoto, playing Kazari
*Honoka Yahagi, playing Mezool
*Hiroyuki Matsumoto playing Gamel
In addition, a FIFTH Greeed will join the cast for this film: the character Gouda will be portrayed by actor Satoshi Hino. However, the character design has not been revealed at time of writing.

2022 marks the 25th anniversary of Ultraman Dyna, the second instalment in the fan-favourite Tiga/Dyna/Gaia (aka TDG) trilogy. As part of the celebrations, Tsuburaya Productions have announced that Ultraman Chronicle D will premiere on January 29th next year! Presented by Ultraman Trigger‘s own alien Metron Marlulu and the mascot monster Deban, the series has been promised as “a brand new series for fans from every generation”. Though Tsuburaya have said to stay tuned to find out what the D in the title stands for, much like the previous Ultraman Chronicle shows it is likely that this will bring new viewers up to speed with the story of Ultraman Dyna – along with a few other surprises along the way.
As usual, the show will be available to watch on the Ultraman Official YouTube channel shortly after its Japanese TV broadcast.
A new Super Sentai means new merchandise!
Today we have our first official images for the first quarter of the 46th Super Sentai series, Avataro Sentai DonBrothers! This quarters’ releases will include:
*A Change Hero set of action figures for each of the DonBrothers- Don Momotaro, Saru Brother, Oni Sister, Kiji Brother & Inu Brother– with special weapons. Each Change Hero figure is sold individually for 1650 Yen and a boxset of all five will be available for 8250 Yen.
*The DX DonBlaster! This is the signature weapon & henshin device of the Avataro Sentai. The DonBlaster draws power from the unique Avataro Gears. The DX DonBlasters’ release will include 2 Avataro Gears- Don Momotaro & ZenKaiser. This release will cost 5280 Yen.
*The DX Donbra Buckle acts as a carrying case for the Avataro Gears. This release includes the Gears for Saru Brother, Oni Sister, Kiji Brother & Inu Brother. The DX Donbra Buckle will cost 2970 Yen.
*The DX Zangla Sword– signature weapon of Don Momotaro! This weapon is priced at 4950 Yen.
*The DX Enya Ridon– Don Momotaro’s personal vehicle! First Mecha in the DonBrothers line, the Enya Ridon will cost 4950 Yen.
*And finally, the DX Don ZenkaiOh! This special set is a release of the Enya Ridon bundled with a repack of Zenkaigers’ DX Zenkai Zyuran to complete the double-sided combination. DX Don ZenkaiOh is priced at 8250 Yen.

This time, we get to see the first MECHA configuration for the new series Avataro Sentai DonBrothers. It appears DonBrothers will be compatible with the current Super Sentai series- Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. Red Ranger Don Momotaro will make his first appearance in Zenkaiger in January 2022 & according to certain rumors both Zenkaiger & Zenkai Zyuran will appear in DonBrothers as supporting characters.
Don Momotaro will use his personal vehicle- the EnyaRidon to combine with Zyuran & create Don ZenkaiOh!

An official announcement of the 46th Super Sentai series Avataro Sentai DonBrothers has just been published!
This Sentai series is inspired by the folk tale Momotaro with each of the five DonBrothers taking on an appearance from a character in the legendary story.
DonBrothers’ head writer is none other than tokusatsu legend Toshiki Inoue– this will be his first Super Sentai project in 30 years! Suit actor turned action director Hirofumi Fukuzawa will remain on hand to helm the series.
Fans eager to see new Red Ranger Don Momotaro in action will not have to wait long- the character will make an introductory appearance in the 42nd episode of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger– currently scheduled to air January 9 2022!
A press conference will be held in early February 2022 fully introducing the DonBrothers team.
Avataro Sentai DonBrothers will begin airing on March 6 2022!

The DonBrothers team will channel the success of the Sentai Gears with a new model of equipment known as Avataro Gears. The teams’ signature weapon is the DonBlaster– a double barrelled pistol with Gear features. Don Momotaro carries a unique weapon- the Zanglass Sword that can also use Gears.
