Tamashii Nations 2019 : Day 1 Reveals for Kamen Rider and Ultraman

Posted on October 24, 2019 at 8:54 am by Den-O under Conventions, Garo, General Tokusatsu News, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions, Ultraman

The annual Tamashii Nations event is under way and as ever, there are a plethora of new items on display. Just as with every Tamashii event, an item being displayed does not necessarily indicate that it will be released however. A number of new items are currently listed as “Display Only” as well.

That being said, this year’s event has certainly provided a number of figures of interest:

Shinkocchou Seihou S.H. Figuarts:
– Den-O Sword Form
– Kuuga Growing, Dragon, Pegasus & Titan Forms
– OOO TaJaDor, SaGoZho, LaToraTah & ShaUTa Combos
– Dark Kiva
– OOO Ridevendor

Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts:
Grand Zi-O
Build Genius Form
Ex-Aid Muteki
Ghost Mugen Damashii
Metal Build
Cross-Z Evol
Jin
Horobi
Vulcan Shooting Wolf
Valkyrie Rushing Cheetah
Rise Hopper

Ultraman S.H. Figuarts:
Ace
Joneus
Titus
Tregear
Grigio
Ultra Dark Killer

Tamashii Lab:
Ankh

That is a hefty grouping of new reveala. Once again, we know that not everything here will make it to production for some time, if at all. But it’s always pleasing to see just how much Tamashii pumps out for these events. As more new reveals, images, and information from the event surface we will update this story and the related thread.

Seems like Sha Uta and RaTaTora parts will be on display at Tamashii Nations next weekend.

Ooooh damn. This actually makes me a little worried that Tajador might be sooner rather than later lol; I better get some money together!

Wow, the OOO figures must be selling really well if they're pumping these out so fast. Normally SS figures take forever to happen.

Please do not forget that this is their big event were they throw out countless prototypes with a good number of them either being never released or 2-3 years away from some form of release.

It's the graveyard of prototypes. The "Hall of Fame" of the unreleased. The boulevard of broken dreams.

That being said, the OOO-forms do have a high chance of being released IMO, might take a while though.

    Couldn't describe it better myself.

All of this is true of course, but they've had a surprisingly good track record of releasing things recently. Like, of certain recent events; I think Lazer Level 3 and the Three Crows were probably on most peoples' "least likely to actually happen" lists. And yet...

We've also, notably, seen every single Build figuart get an official release announced except Prime Rogue of the ones shown off. And most of these were extremely soon after reveal. I mean aside from Prime Rogue, the only recent ones shown off that haven't gotten announced for release I can think of are like... the Proto Gaim riders from the Zangetsu stage show? I think they showed Turbo Lazer with the Proto Shakariki Sports armour???

We've even finally gotten Diend recently! So unless they show a final form I think we can expect most things shown to be released

Agreed, last year was actually somewhat restrictive as in they showed far less stuff than usual but said stuff is actually almost all but confirmed for release now.

If that's their intention going forward then I'm all in.

there's a bigger version of this image floating around that have a bunch of combos blurred in the background, but it's possible to make out the gorilla torso and condor legs.

    *cries in Saga*

I will say the Shinkocchou Seihou stuff usually ends up getting released though. I believe the only one they've shown that hasn't seen a release was Nazca.
