The Tamashii Nations Event 2023 is here and there are a load of brand new images of new and upcoming product for tokusatsu fans!  With special thanks to Dengeki Hobby we’re able to view all these beautiful new products.  Whether you’re a fan of regular S.H. Figuarts or the special Shinkocchou Seihou S.H. Metal Heroes and Ultraman have certainly had a big day at Tamashii Nations 2020. But now it’s time to take a look at the huge number of reveals on display for Kamen Rider! Even with a healthy amount of previous releases mixed in, that’s quite the stack of new reveals from the event. There’s a magnificent display of older releases surrounding the entire rider display that essentially adds up to most if not all of the regular Rider releases from the last decade. It’s an impresssive sight to behold and one that we don’t have the time to list out every individual figure for. We’re sure that more will be revealed through out the weekend though so be sure to stick with us for all your updates from Tamashii Nations 2020!

With the world still mostly shut down due to COVID-19, toy shows have to get creative to advertise new products.

This weekend we will see Bandai’s attempt at a VIRTUAL Tamashii Features event- showcasing all the new upcoming product releases from the comfort of home!

Tamashii Features 2020 has only just begun and already we have a plethora of new SH Figuarts toys for Kamen Rider fans! Items revealed so far include:

After a quick teaser earlier this week, we now have some full images of the next Shinkocchou Seihou release for SH Figuarts!

Fan-favorite Kamen Rider Ixa– the secondary Rider from 2008’s Kamen Rider Kiva will be receiving an incredible update with this new release.

In addition to his signature weapons- the Ixa Knuckle & Ixa Caliber– this Figuart also includes a HELMETLESS head sculpted in the likeness of his user, Kurenai Otoya.

Shinkocchou Seihou Ixa is currently scheduled for release in November 2020. The price is a modest 8800 Yen before shipping and handling!

And for those who prefer the role-play side of things, today is truly a celebration of Kamen Rider IXA as Premium Bandai have announced the Complete Selection Modification IXA Belt and IXA Riser set! Preorders for this set will open on the 26th May, with further information surely to surface in the coming week!

Ready! Fist On!

Bandai Tamashii Nations have revealed that the next figure to join the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou range will be Kamen Rider IXA! The secondary Rider from Kamen Rider Kiva that appears in both the 1986 and 2008 portions of the show, IXA will be a Tamashii web exclusive with preorders opening on 25th May. 

Further details, such as release date, price and accessories will be announced in the coming week!

“Wake up!” 

Struggling with the duality of his human & Fangire parentage, Wataru Kurenai protected humanity from his own monstrous kind. As Kamen Rider Kiva, Wataru fought for justice, but he also needed a ride. Built by the mysterious Motobat the 16th, and entrusted to Kiva by Kivat Bat III, the Machine Kivaa is a mighty machine worthy of the Fangire king!

Tamashii Nations has done Kamen Rider Kiva fans an incredible solid with this release. The Machine Kivaa Option Parts Set gives fans everything they could possibly want to compliment their Kiva collections. Not only do we get the the Machine Kivaa, a stylish modification of the base Honda Shadow 750 model, but also Kiva’s other signature props. The regal throne we see Kiva sat upon often, particularly in the series opening, as well as the Bloody Rose. The magnificent violin created and played by Wataru’s father, Otoya. This set really is a love letter to a show that’s often derided, but is absolutely one of the most stylish series out there.

Premium Bandai has announced the next entry in the fan-favorite Complete Selection Modification series!

This time, Kamen Rider Kiva gets a chance to shine- thanks to the Complete Selection Modification Kivat Belt! This belt consists of the legendary creature Kivat III and six Fuestles which Kiva uses to channel various attacks.

But that’s not all! Complete Selection Modification will also be releasing Tatsulot– the almighty dragon device that activates Kamen Rider Kiva Emperor Form.

The CSM Kivat Belt will be released in March 2020 for 29700 Yen while the CSM Tatsulot is scheduled for release in April 2020 and priced at 13750 Yen.

The annual Tamashii Nations event is under way and as ever, there are a plethora of new items on display. Just as with every Tamashii event, an item being displayed does not necessarily indicate that it will be released however. A number of new items are currently listed as “Display Only” as well.

That is a hefty grouping of new reveala. Once again, we know that not everything here will make it to production for some time, if at all. But it’s always pleasing to see just how much Tamashii pumps out for these events. As more new reveals, images, and information from the event surface we will update this story and the related thread.

“WAKE UP!”

Shy, anxious, fearful, Wataru Kurenai would rather craft violins like his father Otoya. But as the son of the Fangire Queen as well, he was destined to become Kamen Rider Kiva, the Fangire King! And like the King’s before him Wataru has one trusted partner, a member of the Kivat family, Kivat Bat III. With Kivat in tow, Wataru sets out to fight Fangires and protect humanity, just as his father did (occasionally) 20 years prior. Now it’s time to break the chains on a review we’ve waited years for with S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kiva!

As the Heisei Era ends, Tamashii Nations has at long last delivered on the promise of completing the 20 Heisei Riders! With Kamen Rider Kiva, the entire lineup of main riders is complete, and let me say, it’s incredibly satisfying. Kiva brings to a close an era of incredible heroes and does so in gorgeous fashion. With the trademark accuracy and engineering of the Seihou line, Kiva looks as though he walked right off the set. Including his 6 Fuestles, the Hell’s Gate leg for his Rider Kick, a Ridewatch Tamashii Stage, and the ever present Kivat Bat III, Kiva is a tremendously welcome sight to any Kamen Rider collection.
