S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Hunter Bike Gamer Level 5 Gallery

Posted on November 24, 2017 at 7:13 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, Network News and Updates, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

“5th Gear!”

You’ve seen our previous galleries of the Drago Knight Hunter Z derived Level 5 forms for Kamen Riders Ex-Aid, Brave & Snipe. But now it’s time for Kiriya Kujou to shift into 5th Gear with his own form based on this Gashat! S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Hunter Bike Gamer Level 5!

Lazer Level 5 is an interesting release because frankly it’s one that many fans have settled for. At the time of it’s announcement, it was the only one of Lazer’s three humanoid rider forms to have been solicited for release. And while it shares elements with his more heavily favored Level 3 form, it’s just not the one that many collectors wanted. Now we know that Lazer Turbo Level 0 is on the way as well, Level 3 seems even more likely to happen in the future. So does this figure merit a spot in your collection? At least ti go with the rest of a 4-player co-op display? Check out our full review to decide for yourself.

We’ve attached the full 70 image gallery to this post, but you can also read the entire review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back next time with a double sized gallery featuring two releases separated by nearly 4 years. It’s been too long since we’ve revisited the Showa Era!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Turbo Bike Gamer Level 0 Revealed

Posted on November 21, 2017 at 12:24 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Speculated for some time by fans of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, we’ve finally gotten confirmation of another figuart for Kiriya Kujou AKA Kamen Rider Lazer!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Turbo Bike Gamer Level 0 was just revealed via new magazine scans currently making the rounds, we saw them courtesy of Tag Hobby. Lazer Turbo as you may recall is Kiriya’s late in the game form from the series, re-using the Ex-Aid style body and armor with the Level 5 Lazer head. It was probably a no-brainer we’d eventually get this release given the recent Level 5 one but it’s good to finally have confirmation.

Lazer Turbo will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in May 2018 for 5940 yen. Be sure when order pages go up in the future to contact your preferred middleman or web service about securing an order.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form Gallery

Posted on November 12, 2017 at 11:41 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Ore, Sanjou!”

Rumors are circulating that in the next few weeks, at Tamashii Nations 2017, we could see a Shinkocchou Seihou release for Kamen Rider Den-O. The original Sword Form figuart itself was released over 5 years ago as well. With Tamashii Nations making headway through the backlog of Heisei Riders receiving this treatment Den-O very likely could be next. In light of these rumors we’ve decided to take a look back at my namesake with a brand new and up to date gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form!

Den-O Sword Form may be a bit of an older release, but you know what it still has a lot of charm despite the faults we can recognize today. Serving as the first nice 1/12 scale collector figure for Den-O, it set the bar for the numerous releases that would follow it. Den-O was packed out with accessories as well including two forms for the Dengasher, a set of Full Charge effect parts, a Rider Pass, multiple sets of hands and even a set of swap out hip holsters. Mold flaws aside, Den-O Sword Form was a great release for it’s time. But if we indeed are looking at the prospect of a Shinkocchou Seihou release in the near future, I welcome it.

We’ve assembled a full 120 image gallery of S.H. Figuarts Den-O Sword Form. The entire gallery is attached to this post but you can also read through an extensive review of the figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll check back in a couple weeks with news from Tamashii Nations 2017, wheter there’s a Seihou Den-O or not.

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Skull Gallery

Posted on November 7, 2017 at 12:38 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

“Now, count up your sins.”

In the city of Fuuto, legendary heroes called Kamen Riders protect the citizens from monstrous villains. The first of their kind set the bar very high for what it meant to be a hero, a detective, a mentor, and a man. Defending his city Soukichi Narumi created a legacy of heroism for the next generation to follow as Kamen Rider Skull. Now after years of waiting Bandai has finally given this legendary detective the renewal treatment he deserves with S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Skull!

Seihou Skull is the 4th release we’ve gotten for this series so far (W, Accel, Hardboilder) and it really is a fantastic one. Utilizing the incredible Seihou W body, this release gives us everything we could want and more for Skull. Multiple display options allow you to turn this figure into 1 of 3 versions of the character; Skull Crystal, Skull, & Impostor Skull. A functioning Lost Driver with Skull Memory as well as an interactive Skull Magnum, numerous hands, two fedoras, two scarves, even a dummy W Driver & Case to re-create Begins Night! Seihou Skull is an all inclusive release sure to please any fan of Kamen Rider W.

This massive 100 image gallery is attached to this post, but you can also read our extensive review of this new release by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Snipe Hunter Shooting Gamer Level 5 Gallery

Posted on November 4, 2017 at 11:52 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

“Gun!”

It took a mighty 4-player Co-Op effort to initially defeat the powerful Bugster Graphite. Using the Level 5 Gashat Drago Knight Hunter Z, Ex-Aid and the other doctor Riders were each granted a portion of it’s power & armor. Thus the Dragon Gun was inherited by Kamen Rider Snipe! Eventually though Taiga would come master the powers of this Gashat on his own. For now we see how well Tamashii Nations has tamed this wild power with a new gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Snipe Hunter Shooting Gamer Level 5!

Snipe Level 5 is a mold you’ve seen before. Largely unchanged from the original Snipe Level 2 release, Level 5 swaps out the left side limbs for the Drago Knight Hunter Z armor, granting Snipe the powerful Dragon Gun. While these parts are largely unchanged from their outing with Ex-Aid Level 5, Snipe can make full use of this arms’ articulation unlike Ex-Aid. This go around we also have the inclusion of 7 unique word bubble effect parts to spruce up your Ex-Aid display or a battle scene! A few of which are different from those included with Brave Level 5, whom this figure pairs perfectly with.

We’ve attached the full 60+ image gallery to this post, but you can also read up on our full review of this figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with a new gallery from Kamen Rider W!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Brave Hunter Quest Gamer Level 5 Gallery

Posted on October 30, 2017 at 2:20 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Blade!”

It took a mighty 4-player Co-Op effort to initially defeat the powerful Bugster Graphite. Using the Level 5 Gashat Drago Knight Hunter Z, Ex-Aid and his allies were each granted a portion of it’s power and a piece of it’s armor. Thus the Dragon Blade was inherited by Kamen Rider Brave! Eventually though Hiro would come master the powers of this Gashat on his own. For now we see how well Tamashii Nations has tamed this wild power with a new gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Brave Hunter Quest Gamer Level 5!

Brave Level 5 is a mold you’ve seen before. Largely unchanged from the original Brave Level 2 Quest Gamer release, Level 5 swaps out the right side limbs for the Drago Knight Hunter Z armor, granting Brave the large Dragon Blade. While these parts are largely unchanged from their outing with Ex-Aid Level 5, Brave can make full use of this arms articulation unlike Ex-Aid. This go around we also have the inclusion of 7 unique word bubble effect parts to spruce up your Ex-Aid display or a battle scene!

We’ve attached the full 60+ image gallery to this post, but you can also read up on our full review of this figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with another new figure from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid as well as a long awaited renewal from Kamen Rider W!

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Punch Hopper Gallery

Posted on October 26, 2017 at 7:31 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Change, Punch Hopper!”

Shun Kageyama had humble beginnings with ZECT under his mentor Sou Yaguruma/TheBee. When Yaguruma fell from grace, Kageyama rose to power, but proved too weak to maintain it. Left a shattered man he was pulled back from the depths of his failures once again by Yaguruma. Kageyama’s mentor had been reborn as Kamen Rider Kickhopper, now he himself lives his own second life as Kamen Rider Punch Hopper. Together they walk their own path, to hell.

Recently we took a look at Shinkocchou Seihou Kickhopper, and as with most any release from this line I was very impressed. So it’s no surprise that mold mate Punch Hopper is also an absolute pleasure. Punch Hopper once again takes an excellent renewal mold and puts it to good use. The only new difference with this release is the arm mounted Anchor Joint weapon, but it’s executed just as well as Kickhopper’s ankle mounted one.

We’ve attached the full 80 image gallery to this post, but you can also click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the full review. We’ll be back soon with a new pair of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid galleries as well!

Posted on October 26, 2017 at 3:53 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell Revealed, Retail Release Confirmation

Posted on October 23, 2017 at 12:01 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

In a surprise reveal a magazine scan has just begun circulating showing off S.H. Figaurts Ambassador Hell! We’ve previously seen this iconic villains’ Kaijin form Garagaranda, on display at Tamashii Events. But this is a new reveal entirely. What’s most surprising is that Ambassador Hell appears to be a standard retail release, priced at 6480 yen with a release date of April 2017.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Ambassador Hell character, he hails from the original Kamen Rider TV series. A Shocker general based out of the western US, the character has made numerous appearances through out the rider franchise. As recently even as the 2016 Kamen Rider 1 film. He’s not to be confused with his brother Ambassador Darkness, who looks very similar and first appeared in the “Birth of the 10th! Kamen Rider All Together!” the Kamen Rider ZX film. Could Hell’s release signal Darkness on the horizon? Here’s hoping!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Bike Gamer Level 2 Gallery

Posted on October 22, 2017 at 4:59 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“2nd Gear.”

Kiriya Kujou. Liar, coroner, Bugster, Kamen Rider. Has there been a secondary character that’s grown more memorable and beloved by fans of a rider show more quickly than him? Almost from the moment he stepped on screen, people fell in love with this two-faced hero. While Lazer has an unconventional Level 2 Rider form, it has a charm all it’s own. After patiently waiting since his appearance early on in the series we can finally share a full review & gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Lazer Bike Gamer Level 2!

Lazer Level 2 is an unconventional form for a rider, and a unique Rider Machine, but one that’s been perfectly executed. Capturing Kiriya’s iconic Level 2 form, this figure has been given an exquisite paint job to sell all the right details. But perhaps the best thing about this release is the two Gamer Drivers that are included! One, a standard Gamer Driver with removable Bakusou Bike Gashat, and the other is a “stunt” driver. Based on the type of stunt prop used for action scenes this slimmed down Driver provides some extra clearance for any rider ally. Did I mention that Ex-Aid looks absolutely excellent on Lazer as well?

We’ve attached the full gallery of 60 images to this post, but you check out our full review as well by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation” Forums at the bottom of this post! We have more Kamen Rider Ex-Aid galleries on the way, but next time we’ll be back with another glimpse into Kamen Rider Kabuto!
