First Image of Kamen Rider Specter

Posted on September 2, 2015 at 11:28 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Teased in silhouette form way back in July, we finally have an initial image of Kamen Rider Specter! The secondary rider for this years upcoming Kamen Rider Ghost.

Specter’s costume is incredibly similar to Ghost’s own basic form, Ore Damashii. Specter Damashii swaps out the orange for blue, features a new chest emblem, and also has a rather cool looking crest on his helmet to set him apart. It definitely sells the idea of these 2 sharing common powers and tech better than most 2 rider systems. This image also gives us a look at prototypes of the Gangan Hand & Driver.

We’ll keep you up to date as more information and images become available regarding Kamen Riders Ghost & Specter!

Super Sentai Artisan Chogokin Shinobimaru Gallery

Posted on August 29, 2015 at 9:36 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Wasshoi!

At long last TokuNation is fired up to present this latest gallery! A recent Bandai Premium release from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, today we take an extensive look at the Super Sentai Artisan Chogokin Shinobimaru!

Chogokin Shinobimaru is Bandai Premium’s first entirely new figure for Ninninger, soon to be followed up by Rodeomaru & Chouzetsu Akaninger. More than a simple DX with metal parts like last years’ Chogokin ToQ Oh, Shinobimaru is an entirely new super articulated diecast infused action figure meant to replace the DX that came with Shurikenjin. While it may be lacking a bit in the accessories department (a small shoulder mounted Akaninger) it more than makes up for this with excellent articulation, strong QC, and just the perfect amount of metal to give this little guy some heft.

Make no mistake when we say extensive either, we’ve put together 70 images of Super Sentai Artisan Chogokin Shinobimaru for your viewing pleasure! We’ve even included a comparison between Shinobimaru and the classic release Soul of Chogokin Battle Fever Robo, the predecessor to all modern Sentai Chogokins. Attached to this post are just a small selection of the images, to view them all click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

S.H. Figuarts Ride Macher Gallery

Posted on August 26, 2015 at 10:11 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Searching, destroying, all done at mach speed! And this time Kamen Rider Mach has a little bit of help, today we’re taking a look at the recently released S.H. Figuarts Ride Macher!

The Ride Macher is both the companion piece and sort of the successor to the Ride Chaser and these brother machines share a base in the Honda NM4. At their core the figures are quite similar as well. The Ride Macher trades out the Chaser’s dark theme for a bright futuristic look that definitely syncs up with Mach’s own racing motif. The Ride Macher also includes many more accessories than the Ride Chaser in the form of 2 new Advent Signals and their accompanying Signal Bikes; Tomarle & Kaksarn! As with the Chaser a 1st run bonus accessory is also included, the Funky Spike Effect! Sadly of course this bike can not form the mighty Ride Crosser with the Ride Chaser, unlike the DX’s they simply aren’t capable of it.

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but check out our full discussion thread by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” in order to see the full 40+ images of the S.H. Figuarts Ride Macher & the Funky Spike Effect Bonus!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser Official Images

Posted on August 23, 2015 at 8:31 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

After Thursday nights’ reveal, Bandai has just put up official images and release info for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser!

As the initial scans indicated Kamen Rider Chaser is a gorgeous figure with a beautiful metallic finish. For accessories Chaser includes 2 sets of additional hands as well as his Shingou Axe and the green & red light indicators for it. Sadly he does not however include a Break Gunner. Meaning you’ll need to borrow one from a Mashin Chaser figure.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser will be release as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in January for 5940 yen!

Posted on August 22, 2015 at 11:06 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Washoi! The dinosaur Otomonin joins the fray in this years theatrical film Shuriken Sentai Ninninger The Movie: The Dinosaur Lord’s Splendid Ninja Scroll. And not to be left out on the toy side of the things, a special “EX” release has just hit retail for this new ally to the Ninningers with DX Dinomaru!

EX DX Dinomaru is a pretty wild toy. From the ground up this figure is a remold & repaint of the previously released DX Paonmaru, bet you never thought Bandai could get an elephant and a T-Rex out of the same like that? Sharing much of the same transformation as his mold mate, Dinomaru still manages to be new and creative, bringing his own charm to combining with Shurkenjin to form Shurikenjin Dino!

Before you check out our complete gallery be sure to check out the video below to see a full review of EX DX Dinomaru from friend & site contributor baltmatrix!
