Wonderfest 2015: X Plus Officially Reveals Daizyujin PVC Figure

Posted on July 26, 2015 at 9:17 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

Wonderfest 2015 is currently underway and one of the big surprises from this year was revealed just a few days ago. And as of today the X Plus booth currently has their full Daizyujin PVC Figure on Display!

PVC Daizyujin is a non-transformable, near 18″ tall static figure. While the display prototype doesn’t feature open hands it does appear to include the Mammoth Shield and God Horn Dinosaur Sword. So chances are an additional set of hands to hold the pair will be included. Currently we don’t have specific release information outside of a 2015 time frame, and price has yet to be announced.

Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger & Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fans alike should definitely be excited for this one. When we have more information to report we’ll be sure to update you!

Posted on July 25, 2015 at 5:44 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Following up on the Ghost Gadget information, The Ghouly News has stumbled upon another find from Kamen Rider Ghost! This time we’re getting a better look at the upcoming Ghost Change series of gimmick figures. This years version of WAP, AC, TK, etc retail figures.

We’d previously known that GC01 would be Ghost Ore Soul, and that GC03 would be Specter, Specter Soul. And now we have some new images to match up with the rest of the sets as well:

  • GC01 Kamen Rider Ghost Ore Soul (October) 3456 yen. Includes a basic Ghost body and his jacket accessory as well as the Gangan Saber.
  • GC02 Musashi Soul & Edison Soul set (October) 2700 yen. Includes both Soul “jackets” and 2 weapons, 1 for each.
  • GC03 Kamen Rider Spectre, Specter Soul (November) 3456 yen. Includes a basic Specter body and his jacket accessory as well as the Gangan Hand.
  • GC04 Robin Soul & Billy the Kid Soul set (November) 2808 yen. Includes both soul “jackest” and 3 weapons/accessories.
  • GC05 Tutankhamun Soul & Nobunaga Soul set (December) 2700 yen. Includes both Soul “jackets” and 2 weapons.
  • GC06 Beethoven Soul & Benkei Soul set (December) 2700 yen. Includes both Soul “jackets” and 2 weapons/accessories.
  • GCEX Movie Wars 2016 2-Pack. This set is one we don’t know much about yet other than it includes the same as the above sets, 2 soul jackets and 2 accessories. Presumably one for Ghost & one for Specter.

As we’ve found out today, the additional Soul sets will be only the new set of armor for the rider with accessories, rather than including a whole new base body. You’ll need the base GC01 Ghost & G03 Specter to use each of the Soul 2-packs.

Super Imaginative Chogokin Kamen Rider Garren King Form Revealed

Posted on July 24, 2015 at 1:25 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Teased once previously, Hobby Japan have Finally confirmed release details for the upcoming S.I.C. Kamen Rider Garren King Form!

A form exclusive to Kamen Rider Blade’s S.I.C. Hero Saga stories & design art, Garren King Form is a gloriously ornate final form power up for fan favorite rider Tachibana. Never produced in toy form before, Garren King is based on the Giraffa Beetle Undead. The production of this figure depended directly on the sales of the previously released Leangle Jack Form, so it would appear that was ultimately a successful figure.

S.I.C. Garren King Form includes his massively powered up King Garren Rouzer, 6 additional hands, and a splayed deck of Undead Cards for the Rouzer. Look for Garren to be released in January for 8316 yen!

Kamen Rider Ghost- Iguana Ghostriker, Kamen Rider Specter, Logo & Eyecon Images!

Posted on July 17, 2015 at 8:40 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

More news for the 17th Heisei Kamen Rider series is rolling in and now we have concrete pictures and info! The following images give us our first clear look at Kamen Rider Ghost’s series logo. One which looks to incorporate further the overall Eye gimmick of the Ghost Eyecons.

Additionally we have some first looks at Ghost’s toyline. Up first is a silhouetted image of the secondary rider for the series, Kamen Rider Specter! This image also confirms the name of this series gimmick line (ala Arms Change or Tire Koukan). Ghost’s line is known as Ghost Change! Specter is labelled as GC03 which is telling. Kamen Rider Ghost Ore Soul and at least one of his alternate forms will be released first with Specter up after that!

Which speaking of we also get a look at GC01 Ghost Orel Soul while riding his VERY unorthodox Rider Machine. That’s right, a multi-piece combining machine, this year we have the Iguana Ghostriker! The combination of a black and very skeletal horse-like bike and a literal ghost ship! When the 2 combine together it’s clear where this machine get’s it’s name, as combined they form a giant robot Iguana! These images also offer a clear look at the very first DX Ghost Icon! The DX Ore Eyecon is Ghost’s default Eyecon that allows him to access his standard Ore Soul form.

Let’s go-go-go-Ghost!
