Some new images from NECA’s next “Pacific Rim” release have come online!
This is the Category III Kaiju codenamed “Knifehead” updated in a larger scale and with new battle damage detail. The upsizing brings Knifehead much closer in size to the already-released Jaeger figures.
Knifehead Version 2 has an expected release window of first-quarter 2014 and these in-package pictures suggest that retailers will have this wave in stock very soon.
A new sneak-peek at the upcoming Power Rangers Super Megaforce has just been released! Thanks to the fellas at Rangercrew for pointing this video out to us.
Ahead of it’s February 15th premiere Saban Brands & Nickelodeon have released this 26 second teaser to get you primed for the show! The video features the Super Megaforce Rangers (morphed into the Legendary Ninja Storm Rangers) using their Morphers to become a full team of Legendary Red Rangers!
New details for the fourth televised adventure of the Golden Makai Knight Garo have come online!
The story details available so far tell us that Garo will face 9 Demons to defeat and seal an-all powerful force known as “Demon Ailis” (also referred to as Messiah’s Tear).
As reported previously, the mantle of Golden Knight has been taken up by Saejima Raiga, son of the original Garo protagonist Kouga.
On his quest to defeat the Demons, Raiga will be aided by another Makai Knight named Crow, a Makai Priest known as Jiiru, a mysterious magical girl called Mayuri, and the faithful Saijima family butler Gonza (a returning character from the first Garo series).
“Garo: Makai no Hana” is expected to begin this April! Stay tuned to Tokunation for further details!
Bandai’s official site has put up a page for the previously-reported DX Lock Seed set featuring Durian and Donguri (or “Acorn” if you prefer).
In addition to the two DX Lock Seeds, this pack also includes two faceplates for the DX Sengoku Driver, featuring the profiles of Armored Riders Bravo and Gridon respectively.
This Premium Exclusive Set will open for orders on February 24 2014 and will be released in July 2014!
This new round of magazine information has been very good to Gaim fans!
In addition to revealing two new Armored Riders, we also get our first close look at Gaim’s upgraded form- “Jinba Lemon Arms!” If you’ve seen Episode 15 you know how Kouta will achieve this form. And if you haven’t… stop reading this and go watch Episode 15 right now.
And as an extra bonus we also get the first real look at another Vehicle: LS-04, the Tulip Hopper!
Both items should be appearing on-screen in the very near future!

This weekend we got our first looks at the supporting cast of the 38th Super Sentai Series. And now thanks to some updated news reports we have some more details about the faces & voices behind these new cast members!
*The ToQGers’ team mentor Shashou is played by Sekine Tsutomu, a well-known comedic performer.
*His assistant, Ticket, is voiced by Yamaguchi Kappei a long-time anime veteran with an extensive voiceover resume, perhaps best known as the voice of “Ranma” in the iconic anime Ranma 1/2.
*Their robot helper, Wagon, will be voiced by Horie Yui another veteran voice actor & also a well-known singer. We may be in for some musical performances during ToQGer!
Finally, the villains voices were also announced by Japanese news outlets. Again, all four are long-time veterans:
*Nero Danshaku- performed by Fukuyama Jun (Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass)
* Noir Fujin- voiced by Hisakawa Aya (original anime voice of Sailor Mercury)
*Scwarz Shogun- voiced by Jou Haruhiko(Mastermind in X-Men Animeverse)
*Gritta Jou- voiced by Hidaka Noriko (Belle-Mère from One Piece)
No doubt an impressive staff that should give us some very entertaining performances this year!
More information about the 38th Super Sentai Series is slowly but surely rolling down the tracks!
In this latest round of magazine scans we learn that the ToQGers are actually childhood friends & have been together for many years. They fight to regain lost memories (though that particular story element has not been explained in full detail).
The ToQGers are guided by the mysterious “Shashou” (literally Conductor) who speaks to the team through his hand puppet, a monkey named “Ticket.” In addition the ToQGers receive help from a robotic character called “Wagon” who serves food & drink on their train voyages.
Ressha Sentai ToQGer is set to premiere February 16, 2014 so stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date with all new details!
Toei’s official press conference for the 38th Super Sentai Series takes place this weekend in Japan, so we should have lots of new details about Ressha Sentai ToQGer very soon!

With the 38th Super Sentai still several weeks away, Bandai Japan is setting up the promotion train- in style!
The Fashion Network best known for excellent detailed recreations of tokusatsu hero clothing is now offering a variety of Toqger merchandise- including shirts, team jackets and conductor uniforms for the “Rainbow Line!”
A wide variety of items are available but the cost may be too much for some collectors (the jackets run in the 40000-yen range). But they may be enjoyable for fans with good fashion cents!
