Metal Heroes and Ultraman have certainly had a big day at Tamashii Nations 2020. But now it’s time to take a look at the huge number of reveals on display for Kamen Rider! While there’s certainly a mix of new and old at this years event, the new reveals are absolutely spectacular for fans of recent series:

Even with a healthy amount of previous releases mixed in, that’s quite the stack of new reveals from the event. There’s a magnificent display of older releases surrounding the entire rider display that essentially adds up to most if not all of the regular Rider releases from the last decade. It’s an impresssive sight to behold and one that we don’t have the time to list out every individual figure for. We’re sure that more will be revealed through out the weekend though so be sure to stick with us for all your updates from Tamashii Nations 2020!

Following up on our reporting from Tamashii Nations 2020 on the display of previously revealed and newly unveiled Ultraman S.H. Figuarts, Bandai has also dropped a couple massive reveals. While these items are currently listed as “Display Only”, we have our very first looks at two new possible additions to the long running Soul of Chogokin line from two Metal Hero series!

First up is the one which began it all, hailing from 1982’s Space Sheriff Gavan is the Electronic Star Beast Dol Dragon and the Giran Saucer! While the prototypes on display do not currently give us a look at the combined Dol Giran mode, we can probably infer the transformation gimmick in such a comprehensive release as an SOC. As is, What we see on display is a magnificent set and gives us a great sense of  scale, hewing very close to the size of the original toys based on the Tamashii Stages they’re displayed on.

And the second surprise reveal is the massive (and transforming!) planetary battleship Daileon from 1985’s Megabeast Investigator Juspion! Continuing the short lived tradition of the transforming Metal hero robo, Daileon changes from battleship to massive mecha. though we have less of a sense of scale for this release, we can see it does appear to included a small scale Juspion figure, as well as a tiny to-scale version of Juspion’s Garvin Tank!

As mentioned neither of these releases has even been confirmed for release yet, so there are no pricing or full accessory breakdowns to be known at this time. These could very well join the long list of prototypes locked away in Bandai’s vault. But for now, we hope to see much more of these two exciting reveals. Yesterday we saw Bandai Tamashii Nations jump into the world of high-end statues with the announcement of the Tamashii Studios Premium Ultraman Zero -10 Years of Trajectory- figure, but it looks as though the line won’t be just a one-off thing to celebrate Zero’s 10th anniversary!

A further two releases in this new line have been unveiled at Tamashii Nations 2020 – one of Zero’s rival Ultraman Belial, and another of Kamen Rider Double facing off against two Masquerade Dopants! Like the Zero figure both sport incredible detailing, however it’s unclear whether they also feature illuminating parts. One thing’s for sure though – they won’t come cheap.

Tamashii Nations 2020 is underway and it’s another good year for Ultraman. On display at the online event are a number of different S.H. Figuarts dioramas, primarily focusing on Ultraman Z, Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Leo and initial six Ultra Brothers. Displays are made up of released, previously revealed and brand new reveals.

Today’s Hasbro PulseCon gave us our first official look at the upcoming Power Rangers Lightning Collecion VS Packs!  The first two VS packs are as shown:

  • In Space Red Ranger vs Astronema
  • SPD B Squad Blue Ranger vs A Squad Blue Ranger

For the Lightning Collection Wave 07, Target stores will be receiving a special “spectrum” series of packaging.  Full side-profile pictures by artist Tom Whalen with black packaging and holofoil logo – this is something collectors do not want to miss to leave in box.  The ultimate “keep it in the box” addition to any collection.

These will be available exclusively to Target.

At Hasbro PulseCon we received our first official images of the Wave 7 of Power Rangers Lightning Collection.  The wave includes the following figures:

  • Dino Thunder Red Ranger
  • Evil Mighty Morphin Green Ranger
  • Z Putty
  • Mighty Morphin White Ranger (re-release)

These figures are slated to release December 01st, 2020 and for a new price of $22.99.

Revealed today at Hasbro PulseCon, an upcoming line of figures titled Power Rangers Lightning Collection Monsters.  Little is known about this line other than the first two monsters in the line themselves:

  • King Sphinx
  • Pumpkin Rapper

These figures are expected to be $29.99 and release in Spring 2021 but no official word has been given yet.

Hasbro PulseCon revealed a brand new WalMart exclusive line of Power Rangers figures. This new series is called “Retro Morph Power Rangers”, and features retro styling of brand new auto-morphin figures. These are due out in Spring 2021 and Wave 1 consists of the following figures:

  • Red Ranger
  • Black Ranger
  • Blue Ranger
  • Pink Ranger

Fans will note the absence of a Green, Yellow, and White Ranger … but Hasbro teased that this is simply wave 1.  These are available to order at 5pm EST on WalMart.com.

Next week belongs to Hasbro as they prepare to launch Hasbro Pulse Con, their own online entertainment convention that takes the place of the Hasbro reveals usually seen at San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con.  Sneak peaks begin on Tuesday, September 22nd and merchandise purchases begin (for Pulse Premium members) on Wednesday, September 23rd.  Product is available to ALL fans on Thursday, September 24th.

For Power Rangers – the magic begins on Saturday, September 26th.  There will be both a Hasbro’s Power Rangers product panel with promised new reveals and Q&A with the design team.  And of course the main event – the cast of Power Rangers Beast Morphers and the rumored (official) reveal of the cast of Power Rangers Dino Fury airing in 2021.
