Another Ryuga Garo has been announced for Bandai’s Makai Kado line. This version of appears to be Garo with his full powers restored to him, as such he appears much closer to the original.
Sadly, much like previous most recent Makai Kado releases, this one has been announced as a Tamashi Web exclusive, released in January 2014. Be sure to get with your Tamashii Web Exclusive Middleman to secure your order today!
The Bandai Tamashii webstore has revealed a second entry into the GARO Makai Kadou line from the latest GARO series “The One Who Shines in the Darkness“. This time it’s the armor of Takeru Jakuzure – Flaming Sword Knight Zen!
The figure will be released in October and is priced 6090 yen. Check out the full sized images after the jump and this week’s episode of GARO for Zen’s debut on the show!
A new Garo series is upon us, and the merchandise was of course not far behind this fan-favorite toku franchise!
Preorders originally opened on April 5 on Tamashii Webshop for the latest entry in the Makai Kado toyline, Garo Ryuga Ver. This stunning figure stands nearly eight inches tall and shows off the tarnished black Makai Knight armor as worn by Dogai Ryuga well. Garo Ryuga Version also includes a sweeping three-piece cape and his signature Horror-slaying blade Garoken.
Ryuga’s Garo figure will cost 6090 yen and ship in September.

As reported by Henshin Justice Unlimited a Garo themed Pachinko machine is in the works and will feature new Makai Knights.
The Red Makai Knight is named Scorching Heat Yaiba, and she is the first female Makai Knight.
The Green Knight is called Beast Body Knight Giga
And the White Knight is called Gaoh.

Some time ago we heard rumors that Toei would be producing another new film for the Makai Knight. Now the first trailer for this new film is online!

Thought you’d be seeing the last of the world of Makai Knights in Garo: Dragon of the Blue Cry? Think again!
The official Garo twitter account has just revealed that a new Garo series, entitled Garo – The One Who Shines in the Darkness, is coming soon. What’s more interesting about this news is that it did not mention any of the original cast returning. Instead the main actor is said to be Wataru Kuriyama, and starring alongside him will be Junya Ikeda…better known as Gai Ikari/Gokai Silver in Gokaiger!

The new Garo movie, entitled Garo: Dragon of the Blue Cry, has just had its first screening at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Among those attending the event were director Keita Amiyama and popular Japanese actress Keiko Matsuzaka, who plays the villain of the movie.
Following on from the end of Garo: Makai Senki, Dragon of the Blue Cry sees Makai knight Kouga Saejima travelling through the Promised Land to honour the contract he made to the Makai entity Gajari. Matsuzaka plays Judam, evil Queen of the Promised land. She is a brutally evil character, but with an innocence of a little girl. She said she had fun doing the action scenes and despite celebrating her sixtieth birthday this year, she still engaged with wirework for the first time and found it to be a challenge.
Garo: Dragon of the Blue Cry will be released publicly in Japan February 2013. In the meantime, check out the trailer below and discuss this news after the jump!
