Bandai Japan has released a quick teaser for the next entry in the Complete Selection Modification collector series recreating the most iconic Kamen Rider belts & accessories.

This time, CSM heads back to the very beginning of the Heisei Era– with the Arcle Belt belonging to Kamen Rider Kuuga!

No release details have been announced at time of writing, but an official reveal is tentatively scheduled for September 2018. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Complete Selection Modification reveals!

AMAAAAZOOOON!!

When S.I.C Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha was first unveiled months ago, fans have wondered just how the rest of Kamen Rider Amazon’s designs would look in S.I.C’s hyper-stylized aesthetic. With the ladder coming out in just well over a month, the time is ripe to finally release S.I.C Kamen Rider Amazon Omega in all of his terrifying glory.

Pre-Orders for S.I.C Kamen Rider Amazon Omega will begin August 24th 2018 as a P-Bandai exclusive release. Amazon Omega will see a release March 2019 for 9180 yen.

As you might recall, Tamashii Nations announced the S.H.Figuarts Heisei Riders Rising Project to coincide with the launch of Kamen Rider Zi-O and the end of the Heisei Era. Many are eager to see what will come of this announcement, and our first one comes in the form of the S.H.Figuarts 20 Kamen Rider Kicks reissues of older S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider figures.


What sets these Figuarts apart from their first releases is the fact that they’ll include special Tamashii Act stage stands: these stands include parts that will mimic one of Kamen Rider Zi-O’s Ride Watches in appearances and of course they’ll be themed after each corresponding Rider.

Each of these Figuarts will cost 5400 yen a piece, going in order, our first batch of releases will include Kamen Riders Build, Faiz, Gaim, Ex-Aid Blade, Den-O, Drive, and Ryuki with Drive and Den-O coming out January 2019.

This will be an excellent opportunity for those that may have missed out on these figures the first time around, or for those new to the fandom looking to dive head first into the fan favorite S.H.Figuarts line.

Figure Oh scans have already confirmed release information for SOC King Brachion, and now a new pair of Kamen Rider are on the way!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Brave Fantasy Gamer Level 50 is another missing link for Brave collector’s. When Bandai skipped ahead to Brave’s Level 100 form, many were wondering when this form would actually happen. Fear no more, as Brave Level 50 is now confirmed for a February 2019 release at 6480 yen as a Tamashii Web Exclusive.

Likewise S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Todoroki finally completes the original trio of Oni Riders. Also headed our way a Tamashi Web Exclusive, todoroki will beat Brave to market in January 2019 for 7020 yen. When official images for these figures are released we’ll be sure to update our ongoing discussion thread. Keep a lookout til then!

As the game says, “A maiden is in trouble, in Toki-Meki Crisis!” But this maiden seem to be in trouble no more! Collector’s have waited patiently for signs of Poppy since Kamen Rider Ex-Aid ended nearly a year ago. Now, we finally have confirmation that S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Poppy is on the way!

Thanks to a new listing on Premium Bandai we can confirm that Kamen Rider Poppy is due for release in March 2019 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. The figure will retail for 6264 yen. Poppy includes 3 sets of hands as well as a set of Bugvisor Zwei replacement parts. Be sure to check with your preferred middleman this week as orders will officially open on August 17th!

“Dragon in Cross-Z Charge!”

Having finally discovered his reason to fight, Ryuga Banjou took on the most dangerous driver to face the Hokuto Three. Using the Sclash Driver Banjou’s already tremendous strength overflowed from his new rampaging form. Fueled by the Dragon Sclash Jelly, Banjou’s power finally runs wild in our gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Cross-Z Charge! 

Following up from our gallery of the standard Kamen Rider Cross-Z last month, Cross-Z Charge is an entirely new mold. Decked out in a really gorgeous silver paint scheme, this figure is also adorned by some frankly perfect translucent blue plastic. An already excellent looking figure in hand, Cross-Z Charge also includes his Twin Breaker weapon, capable of changing from Beam to Attack Mode very easily. The re-packed Cross-Z Dragon and Dragon Full Bottle as well as a removable Sclash Jelly, all of which can interact with the Twin Breaker, also make this a really fantastic release.

It’s certainly been a big day for Kamen Rider fans, as our first look at Kamen Rider Zi-O was dropped quite recently and Bandai is showing no signs of stopping any time soon. You might recall that a new video game called Kamen Rider Climax Scramble was recently announced for the Nintendo Switch if you’ve been looking to import the game we have good news for you.

It was just confirmed on Bandai Namco S.E.A’s official Twitter account that Kamen Rider Climax Scramble will be making it’s way to South East Asia, complete with English subtitles much like last year’s Climax Fighters game.

The good news is that the Nintendo Switch console is region free, so this version of the game will be more import friendly for our English reading audience. We’re still waiting for the trailer to drop, but we’ll let you know once it comes out so be sure to check back with us for more updates yet to come. 

UPDATE:

Both the Japanese region and South East Asia region versions of the game are currently up for pre-order on Play-Asia.

Following this mornings’ press conference, we have now learned a great deal about the cast of the 20th Heisei Kamen Rider series- Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Here is what we know of the story so far:

*Kamen Rider Zi-O’s human name is Sougo Tokiwa. He’s described as “an ambitious young man who dreams of being a King.” Sougo’s catchphrase is “I feel like going somewhere!”

*Kamen Rider Geiz is actually a reference to the characters human name, Geiz Myokoin. He was sent back in time to kill Sougo before the Demon King can awaken.

*The female lead is also a time traveler; Tsukoyomi tries to guide Sougo & Geiz on the right path.

*Sougo’s great-uncle Junichiro Tokiwa will run the “hangout” area this season- a boutique called the Kujigojido Shop. He is a watchmaker & knows a lot about past Kamen Riders.

*To stop the Demon King from awakening & destroying the future, Zi-O & Geiz will travel through time to meet with past Kamen Riders. The cast of Kamen Rider Build and several faces from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid are shown returning to greet these new heroes!

*The villains are known as the TimeJackers and they come from the future to replace Zi-O with their own King- via candidates known as Another Riders– people found in other times & granted powers similar to Kamen Riders with devices called AnotherWatches. These AnotherRiders appear as monstrous versions of past Kamen Riders. By defeating them, Zi-O & Geiz will gain the powers of past Riders.

*Schwartz is the name of the TimeJackers’ leader- described as a violent older man. He is aided by a woman named Aura who can convince others to willingly accept AnotherRider powers. Accompanying them is a young man by the name of Wool who playfully experiments with time for his own amusement.

*A mysterious figure known as Wars appears to both the Riders & the TimeJackers. This man is described as “a prophet from the future” and reads tales of heroic actions from his unique book.

Finally, Bandai Japan has uploaded a special promotional video highlighting the history of Kamen Riders in the Heisei Era & acting as a teaser of sorts for this new series:

Today, in Japan, the Kamen Rider Zi-O cast was announced. The series will begin airing on September 2nd 2018. The following are our main characters for the next Kamen Rider series:

– Kamen Rider Zi-O is played by Sou Okuna (奥野壮)
– Kamen Rider Geiz is played by Gaku Oshida (押田岳)
– Tsukuyomi is played by Shieri Ohata

The first few episodes will feature Kamen Rider Zi-O and Kamen Rider Geiz traveling back in time, meeting up with Kamen Rider Build, Kamen Rider Cross-Z, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, and Kamen Rider Brave. The premises of Kamen Rider Zi-O is that he travels through time using the powers of previous Kamen Riders throughout the Heisei era.

The merchandise campaign for the 20th Heisei Rider series is rapidly picking up speed, and now we have a quick look at just what Kamen Rider Zi-O has to offer collectors!

Bandai Japan has uploaded the first commercial for the DX Ziku Driver: the henshin device for this new series. This is our best sample so far of the sounds within this new piece of Rider hardware:

The DX Ziku Driver (which includes the Kamen Rider Zi-O RideWatch) is currently scheduled for release on September 1 2018 and priced at approximately 7500 Yen. If you are interested, contact your preferred Kamen Rider retailer to add this piece of Kamen Rider Zi-O’s arsenal to your collection!
