With Kamen Rider Zi-O heralding the end of the Heisei Era for Kamen Rider, and in commemoration of the 20th Heisei Rider himself, Tamashii Nations has announced the S.H. Figuarts Heisei Riders Rising Project!

The Rising Project announcement promises the reveal of 3 new Heisei Rider figuarts in the near future. The first of these 3 riders will be revealed on August 24th. Currently speculation is running wild as to what these 3 figures will actually be. Will this be Kiva’s time? There’s Zi-O which begins airing next month  as well, so now would be an ideal time to reveal his first figuart. Then there’s the possibility that 1 or more of these figures could be a Shinkocchou Seihou renewal of an out of date release like OOO, Fourze, or even Faiz.

Exactly who these 3 Heisei Riders are, is something we’ll be watching closely in the coming weeks. So we’ll be sure to keep the community up to date!

The end of the Heisei Era is fast approaching, and Kamen Rider is celebrating the end in their favorite way: with an epic crossover movie!

Kamen Rider: Heisei Generations Forever has just been announced. This film will be a team-up between Kamen Rider Zi-O and Kamen Rider Build. While the cast has not been fully confirmed at time of writing, appearances from other Kamen Riders from throughout the Heisei Era seems very likely.

Heisei Generations Forever will be released on December 22 2018! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this cinematic adventure!

The first bits of merchandise for the 20th Heisei Era Kamen Rider series are now making their way to store shelves!

Many stores in Japan have now put up official displays of the henshin device used by Kamen Rider Zi-O– now officially known as the Ziku Driver for English text.

Bandai Japan has released the first official images for the 20th Heisei Rider henshin device!

This is the Jikku Driver, a mysterious new invention whose origins remain unknown. The Driver is used by both Kamen Rider Zi-O & Kamen Rider Gates as they battle across time.

The Driver is powered by RideWatches, small medallions that contain the powers of the Kamen Riders! These can be stored in the RideWatch Holder for easy use. The JikkuDriver will be packaged with the Kamen Rider Zi-O RideWatch, while the RideWatch Holder includes the Kamen Rider Gates RideWatch.

The DX JikkuDriver & DX RideWatch Holder are currently scheduled for release in September 2018!
For fans interested in picking up these new pieces of Kamen Rider Zi-O’s arsenal, there are multiple options available:

*The DX JikkuDriver will have a separate release- tentatively priced at 7500 Yen.
*The DX RideWatch Holder will also be released separately- priced at approximately 3000 Yen
*OR pick up both items as a set- for a mere 10500 Yen!

In case you missed it, the Rider Kicks Figure lineup is a new budget action figure series from Bandai. We’ve previously seen the crew of Kamen Rider Build done up in this form factor, but now here’s our first look at the main Rider himself: RKS Kamen Rider Zi-O!

RKS Kamen Rider Zi-O will be releasing in September for 2160 yen.

“Build Change!”

Kamen Rider Build is swiftly approaching it’s conclusion. After next week’s break we only have 2 episodes left to go. So it’s time to take a look at something that hasn’t made an appearance on the show for quite a while. The S.H. Figuarts Machine Builder is not only Sento’s Rider Machine but also his personal cell phone!

While we’ve certainly seen the Machine Builder capable of assuming both modes in DX toy form, the best way to get both out of this vehicle is in fact, to split them up. The Figuart opts for being a full bike for Kamen Rider Build to ride, while including it’s Build Phone mode as an entirely separate accessory. Which speaking of accessories, this set also includes a number of additional hands as well as Build Rabbit/Tank Form’s signature weapon, the Drill Crusher, in both of it’s modes. There’s a lot to love about this release if you’re looking for the complete setup for Rabbit/Tank.

As well as the various suits from the Ultraman manga, Bandai’s Figure-rise Standard line also had plenty to show off from the Kamen Rider franchise at this year’s Summer Wonderfest. The most notable item on display was a coloured version of the line’s Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 2 model kit, whose release date has yet to be confirmed. Alongside it was also the recently released Kamen Rider Build RabbitTank kit.

Also on display were Kamen Rider Faiz and Kamen Rider Kabuto, who were both previously released as part of the Figure-rise 6 range. Whether these two models here are different or about to be reissued (and if so if any changes have been made) is unknown, but we’ll bring you more news as it comes!

Kamen Rider Build might be winding down but Bandai isn’t showing signs of stopping the full bottle train any time soon. In case you missed it, Kamen Rider Grease will be getting a cool new form in the episodes that remain: Kamen Rider Grease Blizzard! And P-Bandai’s put up the pre order page for the DX Blizzard Knuckle & North Blizzard Bottle set.

Reservations will begin July 29 2018 and will close August 27. the DX Blizzard Knuckle & North Blizzard Full Bottle set will retail for a mere 3,888 yen and will ship out appropriately in December 2018.

A new Kamen Rider video game has just been announced!

Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble Zi-O is an action/fighting game featuring multiple Kamen Rider characters. So far, Riders confirmed to be included are Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kamen Rider Gates & Kamen Rider Build.

Climax Scramble will include a STORY MODE for lengthy gameplay & a BATTLE MODE for Rider clashes. Further details regarding gameplay have sadly not been confirmed at time of writing.

Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble Zi-O will be released on the Nintendo Switch video game console! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting Rider Game!

News about the upcoming 20th Heisei Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Zi-O continues to drip out on a fairly steady pace, and each bit we receive seems even more exciting than the last!

This latest batch of scans focuses first on the Jikku Driver, the henshin device used by both Kamen Riders in this series. The Driver face spins 360 degrees to transform and was apparently developed after years of research though its true origins are not yet revealed in full.

The Jikku Driver is powered by RiderWatches! These coin-shaped devices are said to contain the powers of previous Kamen Riders- and all the Heisei Riders are shown in RiderWatch form!

By inserting the RiderWatch into the JikkuDriver, a Rider gains new Rider Armor with unique abilities!

*Kamen Rider Zi-O’s first RiderArmor form uses the Kamen Rider Build RiderWatch- creating Kamen Rider Zi-O Build Armor!
*Kamen Rider Gates starts off with the Kamen Rider Ghost RiderWatch- granting the power of Kamen Rider Gates Ghost Armor!

In addition to visiting past Kamen Riders, this series will also resurrect VILLAINS from Rider history! Kamen Rider Zi-O is seen facing off against Lord Baron from Kamen Rider Gaim.
